If things reached that level, this world might be destroyed by her before an apocalypse even struck.
Therefore, to prevent this from happening, Perfikot had to force herself to rember how many people she killed today, who they were, and why they died.
According to post-event statistics, Perfikot massacred a total of ninety-two nobles: seven Counts, twelve Viscounts, twenty-six Barons, and forty-seven other noble ranks like Knights and Baronets.
Aside from one old noble who committed suicide, ninety-one of them were ordered by her to be killed by her knights.
They were massacred for obstructing Perfikot’s mission to save the world; each of them was culpable for their demise.
And Perfikot personally watched each one of them being killed in front of her, paying the price for their mistakes with their lives.
The matter would end here. The Empire would not reveal the real cause of their deaths, and their families would not be implicated.
Through this massacre, Perfikot officially established her influence and deterrence in the Empire, and adequately absorbed the social network and political assets left to her by the old prince.
As a joke, even the old prince himself could not have massacred the Noble Council unscathed.
Under such circumstances, all of Langton, as well as the Empire, understood the kind of status Perfikot held in the Empire and the privileges she enjoyed.

As the now-governing Eldest Princess, Annie had fully witnessed how incompetent these councilors of the Noble Council were, and how deserving of death they were.
Even though Duke Gloucester had imdiately picked a batch of loyal and diligent imperial nobles to fill the vacant council seats, these newly added councilors still nitpicked over any proposals put forward by Eldest Princess Annie.
Even if Eldest Princess Annie could understand that this was their duty, that they needed to exercise their power through such conduct, it did not stop her from feeling genuinely unpleasant.
In this situation, Duke Gloucester could only pray that there were no fools or lunatics among these noble councilors.
Otherwise, offending Eldest Princess Annie would be one thing, but if they provoked Perfikot, he would have no mood to let her massacre the Noble Council one more ti.
