"How did this end up with you?" Weir saw the object Perfikot was holding, and her face showed a mix of surprise and nostalgia, along with a hint of shock.
Facing Weir’s complex expression, Perfikot looked at the birthday gift in his hand, a glint of understanding passing through his eyes.
"This is a birthday gift from Her Majesty the Empress. It’s said to be a Divine Artifact, but I’ve studied it for a long ti and still can’t figure out what it is," Perfikot explained to Weir, looking at her with an inquisitive gaze.
Evidently, Weir’s previous response had already proven that she recognized this object.
After acquiring it, Perfikot had already used the Eye of Omniscience to examine it, but while the Eye of Omniscience, which had always been effective, still provided an appraisal, Perfikot couldn’t understand it.

Especially since the Jade Record evaluated it as "too early to contact for re mortals," which puzzled Perfikot even more, as the Jade Record had never warned her like this before.
Thus, Perfikot brought the item to the laboratory, hoping to study it while also inquiring from Weir about its origin and use.
After all, Weir was once the President of the Alchemist Association and a Legendary Alchemist, undoubtedly possessing much more knowledge and experience than Perfikot.
And Weir did not disappoint her, indeed recognizing the item and explaining it to Perfikot.
It’s just that Weir’s understanding of this item had slight discrepancies compared to the appraisal from the Eye of Omniscience.

At this point, Weir advised Perfikot: "If possible, I suggest you don’t use this thing. It won’t help you. Your inspiration and wisdom surpass ordinary people, even beyond this era, rendering the Crown of Wisdom’s enlightennt aningless for you."
At first glance, Weir’s words seed sowhat contradictory, and her persuasion felt more like a hindrance to prevent Perfikot from achieving greater success.
But Perfikot detected the problem from the Eye of Omniscience’s previous warning and Weir’s unclear words.
This artifact, known as the Crown of Wisdom, although capable of enlightening wisdom and inspiring creativity, seems to harbor hidden dangers or certain subtle issues.
The Jade Record’s statent, "too early for re mortals to contact," clearly refers not to the artifact itself but to the "true Divine being" who made it.
In other words, wearing this crown might lead to contact with that Divine being.
Connecting this with Weir and others’ failed attempt to break the Legendary barrier a hundred years ago, resulting in a Divine curse, Perfikot had reason to believe there was a conspiracy or hidden risk not yet uncovered.

Despite this speculation being baseless, Perfikot couldn’t help but associate it this way.
"From what you’re saying, this thing seems... unusable?" Perfikot wasn’t quite sure and confird again with Weir.
"Not exactly unusable. If you use it occasionally once or twice, it’s not a big problem, but long-term use..." Weir’s face showed an expression of unknown fear mixed with desire, then she said, "It will make you dependent on it, like addictive indulgences that are hard to quit once involved.
And this would undoubtedly stifle your most important creative ability as an alchemist, since all the inspirations and ideas you have after wearing it could be from it, not yourself.
This would destroy your confidence and also make you heavily reliant on it.
Trust , no normal alchemist should approach this thing."
Hearing Weir’s words, Perfikot nodded knowingly and then said, "I understand, it seems this thing is indeed very dangerous. I will handle it appropriately."
Perfikot didn’t say much more and quickly stored the artifact away.
After Perfikot put the artifact away, Weir asked her, "I heard the Empire plans to test the Godslaying Armor and has gathered a team of ennobled Extraordinaries? Do you have confidence?"
"If it’s just the ennobled, the Godslaying Armor in automatic mode alone can crush them, but you and I both know, the Godslaying Armor isn’t for dealing with them. How effective it will be against our true enemies, the Descended Evil God, is still an unknown." Perfikot wasn’t worried about the Empire’s test; what really shook her confidence was the Godslaying Armor’s confrontation with the descending Evil God.
"I can’t help you with that, because I can’t find a god for you to test." Weir was also helpless, if she had broken through the Legendary barrier back then, she might have tested the strength of the Godslaying Armor now, but she failed back then.
However, Perfikot was not too concerned about this issue and said casually, "No rush, Langton’s cultists will readily prepare real combat tests for the Godslaying Armor."
