The mysterious figure didn't descend to the ground. Although the Godslaying Armor had already entered underground and the battle on the surface had concluded with the aid of the Steam Knights, she had no intention of placing herself in a dangerous environnt.
Instead, she synchronized with the Godslaying Armor's visual system through the Multi-Function Goggles she wore, receiving the images it saw.
"Signal transmission is stable, seems there's no issue with this wireless transmission mode." The mysterious figure adjusted her goggles as she crossed out an entry on her record board, simultaneously recording another piece of information: "The Godslaying Armor is too fast. Without sufficient dynamic vision, it's not recomnded for ordinary people to directly view what the Godslaying Armor sees."
The speed of the Godslaying Armor far surpasses Knights dressed in Steam Armor, even though those few newly-promoted Legendary Knights in the Northern Territory gained advancents through Perfikot's potions, they still can't match the speed of the Godslaying Armor.
This results in the Godslaying Armor seeing images that change extrely quickly when running or fighting, surpassing what the human eye can handle.
If you observe Godslaying Armor's high-speed movents with the naked eye, you might see it at one location only to find it at another in the very next mont.
This is not teleportation; it's rely its speed exceeding the fra rate limit of human vision.
If soone has undergone professional training or like an Extraordinary who has surpassed human limits, they might see things more clearly, but for Extraordinary below the rank of Knight, adapting to and keeping up with the Godslaying Armor's speed is impossible.
The mysterious figure, although not lacking in strength, is ultimately an Alchemist, not a Knight specialized in combat.
Watching the images seen by the Godslaying Armor for a short ti is still manageable for her, but prolonged viewing would cause her discomfort, leading to dizziness and nausea.
So upon noting that the Godslaying Armor entered underground without encountering unforeseen threats, she voluntarily disconnected the visual link and switched to a more readable text code.
This might sound abstract, but it's actually quite understandable. Simply put, it's converting visual signals into text information, which is relatively easier for people to accept.
Although the text information scrolls quickly, the refresh rate is acceptable for the mysterious figure, allowing her to process it promptly.
Moreover, she doesn't need to do much, just make tily adjustnts based on the monitoring status of the Godslaying Armor; further intervention is, in her view, unnecessary.
The battle earlier already demonstrated satisfactory combat capabilities of the Godslaying Armor; while there are areas that need adjustnt, overall there are no issues for combat.
What she needs to adjust is simply further optimization of its action mode to enhance its combat effectiveness.
As for the underground battle, unless the Death Sect can truly summon an Ancient God, she believes they won't be able to overco the Godslaying Armor.
"Seems this test has entered garbage ti; just waiting to see if they can provide a surprise." The mysterious figure put away the record board, and her face showed boredom mixed with inexplicable anticipation.
After all, this is her ticulously crafted war machine. Facing enemies like the Bone Giant from earlier is utterly uninteresting.
The Bone Giant indeed possesses considerable fighting prowess; as a divine creature, it's at least equivalent to a titular Extraordinary, but it's far beyond the capabilities of ordinary titular Extraordinary due to its imnse size.
Even a Knight clad in Steam Armor finds it challenging to withstand a Bone Giant.
After all, the substantial difference in size between the two sides is hard to compensate for with combat skills; only multiple titular Steam Knights working in tandem have the possibility of defeating a Bone Giant.
If those new Legendary Knights in the Northern Territory could equip Steam Armor matching their rank, they might defeat the Bone Giant, but never as effortlessly as the Godslaying Armor's recent near-slaughter ease.
Only Knights matching Sanderion in breaking through Legendary restraints may achieve similar feats, and that's contingent on possessing equipnt harmonized with their strength.
Yet even so, utilizing the Godslaying Armor against a Bone Giant would still be overkill.
Because this isn't the purpose for which the mysterious figure created it, nor was it the goal for Perfikot and Sanderion when designing the first-generation Godslayer Armor.
Its original intent is to slay gods; re divine creatures are indeed difficult to handle but not beyond the capacity of conventional ard forces, though a certain cost would be required.
Bluntly speaking, if the Imperial Center had not moved to the Northern Territory, divine creatures appearing in Langton, the Empire's capital, would be torn apart instantly given the Empire's power.
This is the foundation of the world's leading superpower and a testant to its strength.
Even conventional ard forces can attain victory, for the firepower of a single Guard Infantry Corps, with artillery prepped in advance, can take down this Bone Giant.
Thus, the mysterious figure hopes for enemies of sufficient caliber to validate the Godslaying Armor's combat prowess; there must be opponents that at least push it to utilize its full combat potential, rather than the current lopsided crushing.
Bear in mind the Godslaying Armor's specialized weaponry hasn't been deployed yet; it's only been using the pair of claw blades mounted on its arms as backup weapons in the fight.
Though claw blades seem fitting for a werewolf-style battle, the mysterious figure certainly wouldn't limit its armant design to sothing so... simple.
Regarding various hidden chanisms installed on the Godslaying Armor, none have been tested so far.
This leaves the mysterious figure sowhat regrettable, as the Bone Giant earlier proved too fragile, failing to prompt further project testing.
Yet as the mysterious figure dwells on these thoughts, she suddenly feels a pang of palpitations, as though sothing terrifying were threatening her very life.
"Is that..." The mysterious figure quickly checks the nurical codes transmitted by the Godslaying Armor, then her face bears a satisfied smile: "Excellent, it didn't disappoint ; finally a worthy opponent has arrived!"
Re-adjusting the lenses of her Multi-Function Goggles, the mysterious figure reconnects with the Godslaying Armor's viewpoint, eager to see what form this surprise opponent has taken to cause her heart to tremble even at several hundred ters above the ground.
