Perfikot walked up the stone steps into the National Assembly Building, stepping over scattered debris and corpses.

This was not her first ti at the National Assembly Building, but stepping over debris and corpses into this building that represented the 'freedom and democracy' of the Victor Empire was a first for Perfikot.

She did not want a second ti; such an experience once was enough.

The army and Knight Order blocking her entrance to the National Assembly had been crushed, in the literal sense.

Although they were considered elite and their fighting spirit was strong, in face of Beifa and the Godslaying Armor, created by Perfikot for the express purpose of Godslaying, all that could be praised was their bravery in battle.

After Perfikot shut down the Steam Knights with special commands, these Knights even chose to break free from their Steam Armor, wielding weapons themselves and charging alongside other soldiers.

Perfikot did not want to kill.

But just like the first ti she rampaged in New Shaker City, sotis you have no choice.

If she didn't kill them, she couldn't move forward, couldn't end this farce, couldn't stop those fools from causing chaos.

Thus the army and Knights, originally there to protect the country and its people, were squandered this way, dying in front of Perfikot, believing until the end they were defending the country and the so-called 'democracy and freedom'.

"Freedom is just a lie, true freedom never exists in this world; freedom without constraints only brings destruction and havoc." Ascending the steps, Perfikot lanted sorrowfully.

"The so-called democracy is even more a lie manipulating public opinion; the masses never understand what they truly want, their expectations for a good life always deceived by false promises." Pushing open the heavy doors of the assembly hall, Perfikot saw mbers of the Royalist Party detained together.

Most bore expressions of fear, but so still had faces filled with indignant hatred, unsatisfied with such an outco.

Looking at these people, Perfikot sighed and said helplessly: "Because of your foolish actions, many died today, who should have died more aningfully, but because of your foolish actions, they used power ant to defend this nation to incite an internal chaos.

I understand you want to deal with personally, our political stances differ, such conflicts are normal.

But why must you use the Empress's critical illness as a pretext to incite this chaos? And further mobilize the army to make matters spiral out of control? Is there not an ounce of concern for this country in your hearts?

Do you damn well know this could destroy the whole nation? Do you know how much it pains to kill those loyal, brave Knights?"

Perfikot questioned these Royalist Party mbers, growing more emotional with every word, until she involuntarily grabbed one mber by the collar, lifting him up entirely.

Faced with Perfikot's anger, this Royalist Party mber stubbornly replied: "Stop your hypocrisy! If you truly loved this nation, you wouldn't seek to beco a dictator! The people don't need dictation, Victor doesn't need a dictator!"

"Is that so? Did I not give you a chance? You wanted democracy, I established the National Assembly; you didn't want my rule, I gave you a cabinet and a pri minister; you wished for my abdication, letting go of control, and I obliged!" Perfikot felt she was almost driven to laughter by rage, her emotions especially intense today: "But did you succeed? Even the plans I laid out, you executed poorly, do you really have the ability to manage this nation? Or is it in your foolish eyes, so-called democracy and freedom matter more than making the nation better, than letting the people live better lives?"

Perfikot didn't wait for this Royalist mber's reply, having reached the peak of emotion, she simply threw him out, slamming him onto the ground.

Since the assembly hall was the last place breached, the damage here wasn't severe, just a few overturned chairs.

Yet the fall here marked the end of this coup farce, also marking the failure of the Victor Empire's attempts at 'freedom and democracy'.

Perfikot had no intention of controlling the assembly, but after such events, the National Assembly's cleansing was inevitable.

The Royalists loyal to the Royal Family would be purged, replaced by more compliant mbers, sothing even Perfikot could not prevent.

From this point onward, the National Assembly would lose its proper function, becoming a one-man show executing her will.

And she would truly beco an absolute leader, controlling the entire nation.

At this mont, Perfikot felt no joy in ascending to supre power, nor satisfaction in governing the nation.

Only anger, only sorrow.

For the armies she crushed, for those Knights who died, and also for this country that should not have undergone all this.

But at this mont, she didn't have the ti to process her emotions; she had more matters to tend to.

"Execute them, then summon all remaining mbers, conduct an ergency vote under special circumstances, I am going to impose temporary governance over the country." Perfikot commanded.

Though she didn't bring an army to Beloburg, once Beifa crushed the force blocking her outside the city, the tide turned.

The armies initially blocked in barracks either launched counterattacks or were rescued, now having regained control of the city, while those supporting the Royalists were either crushed by Beifa or defeated by other forces.

The entire coup appears as a farce, yet beneath this absurdity lies countless bloodshed.

The soldiers present obeyed Perfikot's orders, gunfire erupted, death and blood stained this hall symbolizing 'democracy and freedom'.

Perfikot sighed helplessly, for she truly had no ti for sentintality.

She turned around and looked at a Knight wearing the Brandlis Clan crest representing the Northern Territory, asking him: "Where is Her Majesty the Empress now, how is her condition, what about Eldest Princess Annie?"

"Her Majesty the Empress is in the palace quarters, the Royalist mbers incited a portion of the Imperial Guard Knights, they've blocked the Empress's quarters, falsely reporting Her Majesty critically ill, but Her Majesty has been rescued." The Knight reported the situation to Perfikot, showing an uncontrollable excitent: "As for Eldest Princess Annie, she is currently with other cabinet mbers, all confined in their residences, Count, what are your plans next?"
