Now reading: Chapter 775 4 The Power of Omniscience from Extreme Cold Era: Shelter Don't Keep Waste, a Sci-fi novel by Seventeen Kites.

To disperse the blizzard enveloping the entire Northern Territory is akin to reversing heaven and earth, yet in the realm of alchemy, there indeed exists the power to overturn the world.

This ti, Perfikot did not expend her own energy to think of how to dispel the storm but instead downed a vitality potion and unleashed her omniscient ability to the fullest.

She intended to harness the power of the Jade Record to seek the force to disperse the Northern Territory's snowstorm.

"Hey, hey, hey, why don't you ask ? I'm a God of Wisdom after all; it's only a snowstorm, I can handle that!" The long unseen God of Wisdom hurriedly interrupted Perfikot before she could activate her omniscient ability.

"You? What help can you offer ?" Perfikot didn't think much of this God of Wisdom, but she was still willing to hear her suggestions.

"You could set up a large ritual and deploy a domain using alchemy to stretch an area in the stormy regions, blocking the snow outside the domain!" The God of Wisdom shared her idea along with the relevant knowledge: "For instance, the constant temperature barrier setup on the Energy Tower, with so modifications, could turn into a domain that repels adverse weather. This would be easier than dispersing the entire Northern Territory's blizzard."

"A domain? That's far off from what I need," Perfikot instantly lost interest. If it was just about creating an area that isolates adverse weather or a barrier, she had many solutions for it.

Perfikot wanted to disperse the entire Northern Territory's blizzard to restore the railroad and Flying Airship transport operations.

Creating a domain or barrier would require forming an ultra-large barrier enveloping the Northern Territory, otherwise, it's all for naught.

Moreover, to support an ultra-large barrier or domain enveloping the entire Northern Territory, not ntioning what conditions are needed to deploy it, just maintaining the barrier's existence is sothing Perfikot currently cannot afford.

To put it bluntly, even if she had two gods, they'd be drained dry.

But from another angle, this is indeed easier than dispersing the Northern Territory's blizzard and more achievable.

"I can offer a technology to make multiple domains resonate, thus enhancing the domain's effect and range, although it cannot directly dispel the blizzard over the Northern Territory, it can sowhat weaken its power." The God of Wisdom continued persuading Perfikot, seemingly considering Perfikot's interest.

However, Perfikot ignored her completely, blocking out her voice and directly activated her omniscient ability.

Suddenly, Perfikot felt her consciousness ascend to an unknown space, where countless seas of stars composed of knowledge hovered around.

This was Perfikot's first ti entering such a state; previously, when activating her omniscient ability, she felt like she was flipping through a book searching for her desired knowledge, not like now, witnessing a 'sea of knowledge' and fishing for pearls within the ocean.

However, the omniscient ability is not that straightforward or rigid.

Perfikot rely conveyed her thoughts to the sea of stars, and quickly received feedback.

A technique capable of dispersing the Northern Territory's blizzard transmitted into Perfikot's mind; she ought to pay her energy as the price for activating this ability.

Perfikot drank the vitality potion beforehand precisely as preparation for this mont.

But oddly, her energy was not drained, or at least minimally, almost negligible.

Perfikot sensed that what the Jade Record: Eye of Omniscience required was a higher-grade offering.

"Divinity? No wonder the God of Wisdom interrupted suddenly." Perfikot seed to understand sothing, but without hesitation, she sacrificed the God of Wisdom to exchange for the knowledge.

"Ah...! No, I curse you!" The last remnant of the extracted God of Wisdom was drawn out from the Jade Record and flew towards the sea of knowledge, spatting a malicious curse at Perfikot.

Yet Perfikot was indifferent to it.

As for why she sacrificed this Divine, it's rely because she had nothing else to offer at the mont.

The cost of using the Eye of Omniscience is imdiate, and Perfikot couldn't pause the ability's activation to make additional preparations.

As such, when Perfikot typically activates the Eye of Omniscience, she consus her readily available spiritual power.

If Perfikot wished, she could use special powers, such as divinity, as substitutes; the Jade Record is not picky in this regard.

As for why Perfikot didn't know divinity could be used as paynt... well, clearly a certain God of Wisdom pretending to be the Jade Record's Artifact Spirit concealed certain truths.

Once Perfikot realized this, she decided to eliminate her, lest she continued occupying the Jade Record, disrupting her usage.

Moreover, in a sense, this God of Wisdom's utility for Perfikot had been squeezed dry.

In the past, she kept her to obtain more alchemy knowledge and various intelligence concerning Divines.

After all, it's difficult for Perfikot to capture another similar Divine for interrogation, the God of Wisdom often withheld information but provided a stable intelligence source at least.

Yet as Perfikot unlocked the omniscient ability and indeed slew a few gods, and directly faced the War God to acquire the Rebellious Sword, Perfikot had grown less focused on this intelligence.

On one hand, she asked nearly everything she needed to; on the other, she was too occupied to bother with Divines unlikely to cause her trouble anyti soon.

Thus, under the conjunction of multiple factors, Perfikot sacrificed this God of Wisdom.

As her consciousness returned, Perfikot felt her energy slightly drained but overall manageable; she did not experience symptoms of excessive energy consumption like fainting or headache.

Even from the Jade Record, so godlike wisdom returned.

Apparently, the divinity contained in the God of Wisdom exceeded the technology Perfikot sought, allowing her to acquire 'change back'.

As for the technology she gained by sacrificing a God of Wisdom: it's a teorological controller that influences vast weather through localized weather adjustnt.

Its structure isn't complex, technically Perfikot already comprehended it, as long as she erects teorological controllers in the main cities of the Northern Territory, she could dispel the blizzard enveloping the entire region.
