Having completed the test on the floating core, Perfikot and Sanderion brought the floating core back to the city.
Although the test had a wide impact, for the residents of Chernobyl, it was rely the Lord taking a trip on the Flying Airship and returning.
No one could have imagined that she had completed the most crucial part of the Floating City test and was about to start this project, which seed almost like a fantasy to everyone else.
Once back at the Lord's mansion, Perfikot planned to take a break and soak in the bath, while Sanderion borrowed a Flying Stone from Perfikot to test how alchemy would perform in the Anti-Gravity Field environnt.
Being a relatively traditional Alchemist, Sanderion was indeed concerned about this matter.
Perfikot, while curious about it, was less interested overall.
After all, even though the original world didn't have alchemy or an Anti-Gravity Field, it managed to send people into space and conduct scientific experints in a zero-gravity environnt.
Despite the huge technological differences between the two, the end results were not significantly different.
So Perfikot clearly understood that in a zero-gravity environnt, many things would be different.
However, she didn't share this insight with Sanderion, rely hoping that Sanderion might research sothing that would genuinely surprise her.
For Perfikot, having unlocked the 'Omniscient' ability of the Jade Record, the only things that attracted her in this world were those she hadn't seen before.
Even ordinary new things were hard to impress or interest her, since the Eye of Omniscience could analyze anything it saw in an instant, understanding what it was, and if Perfikot wished, she could even figure out how to recreate it using alchemy.
Perfikot herself felt helpless about this; sotis she even considered temporarily removing her Eye of Omniscience and replacing it with a normal artificial eye.
By doing so, she could seal the ability of the Eye of Omniscience, allowing her to take a break from understanding everything at a glance.
But for Perfikot, this didn't have real significance, as her ability to see through everything stemd from the Jade Record, not the Eye of Omniscience.
Simply removing the Eye of Omniscience had so effect, but wasn't very useful.
Moreover, since the Eye of Omniscience was a nto from her parents, Perfikot was reluctant to remove it from this perspective too.
So most of the ti, when Perfikot wanted to relax, she'd choose to take a bath.

"Regent, Her Majesty the Empress invites you to Beloburg to attend the maiden flight ceremony of the new Floating Battleship." The ssenger respectfully handed an invitation to Perfikot.
Taking the invitation, Perfikot opened it with so puzzlent. After frowning at it, she asked the ssenger: "Hasn't the Floating Battleship just completed its launch? How can the maiden flight happen so soon? Is it possible that this ship has finished outfitting so quickly for the maiden voyage?"
Perfikot felt very puzzled; not long ago, she had received news that the Floating Battleship had completed construction and launch, and was currently outfitting.
According to her expectations, it would take at least another six months for the Floating Battleship to be ready for a maiden voyage after outfitting.
Making a maiden flight this quickly could only an two possibilities; first, the ship's outfitting tiline was severely shortened to facilitate a quick maiden voyage, possibly not outfitted with everything and planning to complete outfitting slowly post-voyage.
This possibility indeed existed, given that the maiden voyage of the Floating Battleship held significant aning, greatly boosting the morale and spirits of people, especially for the Northern Territory still recovering from a recent blizzard.
The other possibility is that the ship has been converted into a civilian or experintal ship, allowing a reduced outfitting requirent with no lengthy process.
If this is the case, then clearly it's for safety and risk mitigation, aiming to validate and test the technology of the Floating Battleship, turning it into a technology validation vessel.
"Apologies, Regent, I am unaware of the specific situation, Her Majesty the Empress rely instructed to invite you to attend the maiden flight ceremony of the Floating Battleship." The ssenger bowed his head in panic, not knowing detailed circumstances, being just a ssenger.
Seeing this, Perfikot didn't trouble the ssenger further; she simply asked a few more questions before letting the ssenger leave.
Regarding whether she would attend the so-called maiden flight ceremony, Perfikot wasn't very interested in it.
Compared to the Floating City she was about to build, the Floating Battleship was akin to the difference between a small boat and an aircraft carrier. Although the Floating Battleship was her design, with the entire plan formulated and presided over by her, Perfikot herself had little interest in the Battleship.
Due to political reasons, Perfikot had handed over the Floating Battleship plan to the cabinet once it was on track, for them to handle specific matters.
The Floating Battleship plan had completed most of the construction phase, with the first five-year economic developnt plan formulated by the cabinet being executed well. For Perfikot, the remaining part was building the Battleship then sending it skyward.

However, at the mont, certain things seed to have veered from their original course.
"Are you going to attend the invitation?" Sanderion, having understood the situation, asked Perfikot.
"I should go and take a look; the timing of this maiden flight seems off. I need to check it, lest any issues arise." Perfikot answered Sanderion's question.
Although not interested in the matter, since it had deviated, Perfikot intended to investigate, while checking where the problem lay.
As for now, she just wanted to bathe.
So after a brief chat with Sanderion, Perfikot headed to the bathroom.
Seeing this, Sanderion shrugged without saying more, simply attending to her own matters, as she had a keen interest in the Flying Stone.
