Perfikot’s arrangent for Sanderion exceeded her expectations because Perfikot sent her to Beloburg.

"That woman really knows how to order people around, she actually sent to recruit more alchemists for her..." Sanderion grumbled discontentedly as she was currently attending a noble’s banquet in Beloburg.

After all, she was the alchemist of the highest extraordinary level publicly acknowledged by the Empire.

Perfikot had not re-certified her extraordinary level for a long ti, so although speculation existed that she had reached the legendary or even demigod level, officially the Empire still only recognized Sanderion as the demigod-level alchemist.

And precisely because of this, in so respects, Sanderion’s call to alchemists surpassed Perfikot.

Perfikot was indeed globally acknowledged as a genius, yet in the eyes of so conservative or old-school alchemists, she was slightly rebellious.

They did not deny Perfikot’s achievents, but because Imaginary Alchemy shook the foundations of traditional alchemy, many conservative alchemist families held dissatisfaction towards Perfikot.

After all, the advantages accumulated by several generations or even dozens of generations of scholastic families vanished completely in front of Perfikot’s Imaginary Alchemy.

Those civilian geniuses, previously suppressed and stepped on by them, soared into prominence upon embracing Imaginary Alchemy, becoming a new frontier they couldn’t catch up with.

Originally according to tradition, these so-called geniuses would have been suppressed, subdued, then absorbed into these families or factions, becoming part of them.

Perfikot’s newly established Imaginary Alchemy system completely destroyed this structure built by traditional alchemy.

Young alchemists from civilian families successfully gained the ability to turn their ideas and creativity into reality through free access to Perfikot’s published Imaginary Alchemy.

This allowed them not to rely on traditional paths to join a faction, or beco a family’s minion.

This greatly shook the foundation of traditional alchemy, yet, being a behemoth accumulated over hundreds or thousands of years, insightful figures within these families and factions imdiately began to transform, fully embracing Imaginary Alchemy, becoming new-style factions and cliques.

After all, they were not all useless, and there were always a few far-sighted and capable individuals who could promptly shift the faction’s direction.

Although they converted and embraced the path of Imaginary Alchemy, it did not improve their relations with Perfikot.

In fact, within these scholastic families, attitudes and evaluations towards Perfikot were never flattering.

So even labeled Perfikot as a ’Witch’.

Though she could still use her influence to force these factions and families to serve her, so negative judgnts could never be completely eliminated.

Therefore, Perfikot changed her approach, letting Sanderion recruit these alchemists to beco the workforce for the entire Floating City project.

The task was evidently easier than supervising construction on-site, but for Sanderion, she would rather watch robots and automata screw bolts than listen to this group of diocrities flatter.

Yet considering the construction of the Floating City indeed required a large number of alchemists, Sanderion had no choice but to pinch her nose and recruit manpower for Perfikot for fear that she and her apprentices would be worked to death.

"Alright, no more pointless nonsense! Count Brandelis doesn’t like to listen, and neither do I." Apparently irritated by the flattery, Sanderion interrupted, then went straight to the point: "Count Brandelis and I are collaborating on a big project, we now need a large number of alchemists to work for us, how many people can you provide?"

Faced with Sanderion, several representatives from the Alchemy Factions exchanged glances, then one spoke up: "What project are you and Count Brandelis collaborating on, Master Sanderion? How can we contribute to this project?"

"The project is sowhat similar to the Floating Battleship." Sanderion began speaking, yet the expressions of these surrounding representatives showed slight disappointnt upon hearing ’Floating Battleship’.

The Floating Battleship project had involvent from the factions they represented, and they took so share of it, but it was apparent their interest in this sort of thing was not strong.

Especially since Perfikot had blocked the core technology of the Floating Battleship, preventing them from replicating the Flying Stone, even if they mastered all of the Floating Battleship’s construction technology, without the core that truly makes it fly, whatever they did was in vain.

So they saw it as another project similar to the Floating Battleship, where Perfikot herself would swallow the largest profit, and toss so scraps for them to scramble over.

Yet despite this, they still had to scramble for those scraps like wild dogs, as these profits were crucial for them and their factions.

This was another significant reason for their dissatisfaction with Perfikot.

But Sanderion wouldn’t cater to them, seeing disappointnt and discontent on their faces, she directly shifted tone saying: "Seeing your lack of interest, let’s just forget it. I’ll instead recruit so people from Langton’s Alchemy Association. Though fewer, they’re enough for constructing the Floating City."

Finishing her words, Sanderion stood up showing a stance of wanting to leave.

"Wait, Master Sanderion, you just ntioned ’Floating City’? What is that?" One person stopped Sanderion, pushing for more information on the astounding term they heard.

Sanderion feigned surprise at the person stopping her, in a puzzled manner asking: "Don’t you know? Count Brandelis plans to build a Floating City, construction has already begun!

She dispatched to Beloburg to recruit mid-to-low-level alchemists to work, as purely using alchemy to build a city requires a vast number of people!

I thought of you first, but you seem disinterested, so I’ll have to resort to plan B, recruiting from Langton’s Alchemist Association.

Though fewer, and travel ti needed, I trust they will be interested in this matter."

After speaking, Sanderion was about to walk away again.

"No, no, no, Master Sanderion, we’re not uninterested! Please stay! Please stay!" Several faction representatives rushed after her.
