Through another field test, the improved mining unit once again verified its performance, and this ti there were no issues, earning Perfikot's approval.

The improved mining unit was equipped with an ore processing system on the mining barge. The ore collected by the robots would undergo preliminary processing in this system before being transported by the mining barge to the Floating City for further slting.

With the number increased to four, and after adjustnts and improvents, the robots' mining efficiency rivaled that of an entire human mining crew.

In this era, only Perfikot had access to such efficient mining machines, whereas others still relied on the most ancient manual mining thods.

The application of steam engines was limited to pumping water and transporting ore, not truly applied to the extraction of ore itself.

After all, even during the ti of the First World War, human ore mining was mainly reliant on manual excavation.

It is conceivable how the mining unit, in terms of efficiency, was a form of dinsional reduction strike for this era.

Only the latest mines in the Northern Territory, which also adopted mining robots, could compare with the efficiency of the mining units.

But those mines still could not abandon manual labor, which made their efficiency still not comparable to the mining units.

Upon the successful acceptance of the mining unit, Perfikot returned to the Floating City.

Instead of resting, she went to the foundry, where parts for new Floating City modules were being produced.

This was Perfikot's final test of this Floating City module, to see if it could truly, as she designed, independently produce a new Floating City module.

From the perspective of resource processing capacity, this was certainly impossible. Even if Perfikot installed the latest slting furnace on the Floating City module, capable of efficiently processing large quantities of ore with extrely high industrial capacity, it still could not compare to the industrial capacity of the entire Northern Territory.

Perfikot required the entire Northern Territory as support to construct a Floating City module. Relying solely on the module itself to et such conditions was obviously sowhat improbable.

However, the Floating City module does not remain unchanged after being completed. It can be upgraded and modified.

And the original industrial capacity of the Northern Territory was only insufficient in terms of completing the Floating City module construction within Perfikot's preset tiline, not that it couldn't be done at all.

After all, even with low capacity, as long as there is a surplus, resources for building a Floating City can slowly accumulate.

Therefore, Perfikot was fully confident in using the Floating City module to construct new Floating City modules.

The biggest problem limiting this concept might be how to conduct aerial construction, rather than anything else.

"If a Floating Ship capable of aerial construction could be developed, the construction speed of a Floating City would greatly increase," Perfikot mused to herself.

She quickly picked up a pen and sketched several preliminary designs in her notebook.

The Floating Ship needs to have a powerful propulsion system to operate stably at high altitudes, and it must be equipped with advanced engineering equipnt to undertake complex construction tasks.

Just as Perfikot was imrsed in her ideas, an attendant hurried in and said softly, "Madam, the Cabinet has sent soone to inquire about the preparations for the celebration. They hope you can attend and give a speech."

Perfikot raised her head and frowned slightly.

She did not like appearing in public, but she also understood that, as the Empire's Regent and most talented Alchemist, her attendance was crucial for boosting morale.

She nodded and said, "Tell them I will attend punctually."

The attendant retreated respectfully, and Perfikot continued to focus on her designs.

-----------------

While various tests were still being conducted on the Floating City module, the preparations for Beloburg's celebration were in full swing.

Since the last maiden voyage of the Floating Ship, Beloburg had been shrouded in a strange atmosphere of excitent and joy.

It was not the residual excitent after a celebration but a sense of vigorous prosperity coming after hardships.

The Cabinet greatly valued this atmosphere and emotion, and they worked hard to maintain, or even guide, this sentint, encouraging Beloburg's citizens to contribute more to the Empire while seriously exploring new ways or growth points to make this atmosphere even more fervent.

Before the arrival of the doomsday winter, Langton had also been enveloped in such an atmosphere for a long ti.

And all of this was built upon the strength of the Victor Empire.

The Empire conquered nurous overseas colonies, the Empire's flag always shone under the sun, the Empire's capital was the most advanced and developed city in the world, and the Empire's technology led the world...

These accumulations made even the Empire's beggars proudly lift their chests when ntioning the Empire's capital.

This sense of pride requires long-ti accumulation, not sothing that can be changed by one or two events in the short term.

Only a genius like Perfikot could achieve such cross-era accomplishnts even in the doomsday winter environnt, reversing the devastated and battered psyche of the Empire's citizens in the wind and snow, allowing them to return to their previous state of pride and self-esteem.

Seizing this montum, the Cabinet had fully activated the propaganda machine recently, touting the Empire's revival and hope.

Undeniably, the propaganda was indeed effective, as Beloburg's citizens, influenced by this atmosphere, were eagerly engaged in their respective work as if each of them had beco a part of the Empire's revival.

On the streets, workers busily repaired buildings, rchants enthusiastically promoted their goods, and even children were studying harder in school, as if they knew they, too, bore the responsibility for the future.

Therefore, when the Cabinet heard that Perfikot's Floating City module was completed, they planned and organized a celebration to showcase the module, allowing the Empire's citizens to deeply feel the reality of the Empire's revival.

The last ti the Empress contacted Perfikot, this issue had already been ntioned.

Perfikot agreed to the Empress's request, consenting to the Floating City's appearance and the Cabinet's plans to hold a celebration.

After all, in Perfikot's view, boosting national morale and public sentint through a celebration was certainly necessary.

Although it was hard to say how useful such sentint was, the atmosphere could indeed effectively improve labor efficiency and the societal climate, so even though Perfikot did not particularly enjoy such things, she still decided to attend.
