Faced with Perfikot's hostile attitude, the female champion did not get angry as before, but instead said pleasantly, "The Divine Venerable wishes to see you."

"See ? Didn't he pull directly into his domain last ti? Why is he sending you to invite this ti?" Perfikot raised an eyebrow, looking at the female champion with a still unfriendly attitude. "But it doesn't an much, I have nothing to say to you Evil Gods, peace between you and humans is impossible unless one side is completely destroyed, otherwise this war won't end."

At this point, Perfikot firmly added, "Even if you kill here, it won't an anything! The human spirit of resistance will never be extinguished by your terrifying rule!

Besides completely destroying humanity, you can never completely end human resistance! Kill , and there will be thousands and thousands more to follow!"

"No need to be so agitated, the Divine Venerable is not here to discuss this with you; he simply has sothing he wants to tell you," the female champion's expression slightly faltered, evidently provoked by Perfikot's attitude. Yet she still controlled her emotions and continued to invite Perfikot pleasantly.

Perfikot frowned slightly, and hesitated for a mont, before turning to look out the window.

The blood-red clouds had already lowered to above the Floating City, with a rotating vortex facing Perfikot's position, as if it was an eye staring at her.

Wind and thunder shrouded the Floating City, and the air was filled with an oppressive atmosphere.

Perfikot suddenly realized she seed to have missed a crucial point in the Floating City's ability to fire at the sky.

In her design, the Floating City was mainly for ground attacks, just like how it previously obliterated that minotaur.

Air attacks weren't absent but were mainly anti-aircraft fire; the main cannon wasn't designed to fire directly upwards, especially in such a vertical attack angle.

Actually, in this era, no weapon designer would design weapons with a steep attack angle.

In Perfikot's mory and knowledge, weapons capable of shooting straight up were limited to rockets and missiles derived from them.

It was this inertia of thinking that made Perfikot overlook the possibility of enemies from above.

After all, the Floating City could ascend or descend, and for strong aerial foes, simply raising the Floating City's altitude would allow the electromagnetic railgun to obtain a horizontal attack angle.

But the threat appearing directly overhead now truly caught Perfikot off guard.

At this angle, one can't simply raise the Floating City to gain an attack angle; it's necessary to use anti-aircraft weapons, or move to adjust the firing zone for an attack angle instead.

But right now, this isn't the focus; the focus is the War God's invitation.

Perfikot took a deep breath, weighing whether or not to accept the eting with the War God and what this strangely behaving Divine Venerable wanted to say.

Ultimately, after serious contemplation, Perfikot accepted the invitation.

-----------------

With a flash of red light, Perfikot appeared once again in the War God's domain.

The scene before her made her squint slightly, adjusting to the change in surroundings.

Compared to last ti, the War God's domain felt completely different to her.

Last ti, Perfikot saw only a shattered arena, surrounded by emptiness, with a desolation and bleakness after the end of war lingering in the air.

That feeling was like an abandoned battlefield, with only sand and ruins speaking of past glory and cruelty.

But this ti, the domain's atmosphere was entirely different.

There was a stifling air filled with murderous tension, as if a great battle was about to erupt, and the whole divine domain was poised for this mont.

The sense of tension like thorns on the back made Perfikot tighten her nerves involuntarily.

What surprised her more was that this ti the War God's arena was no longer empty.

The surrounding spectator seats were sparsely filled with nurous Subordinate Gods or Divine Attendants.

Their gazes varied; so with scrutiny, as if assessing her worth; so openly disdainful, seemingly dismissive of her presence; and others glaring with anger, eyes burning with hostility, as if her arrival was a desecration to the divine domain.

The beings in this divine domain evidently harbored hostility towards Perfikot, yet there was a thread of curiosity.

Perhaps they wanted to see what made this mortal, summoned personally by the War God, so special to warrant such attention from a main god.

Perfikot could feel their gazes piercing her like daggers, yet she did not back down, instead straightening her spine, her gaze coldly sweeping the spectator seats.

"Looks like I've beco a rare specin in your eyes," Perfikot sneered, her tone tinged with mockery.

She paid little mind to the attitudes of the Subordinate Gods or Divine Attendants, focusing more on the center of the arena stand.

There, the War God's towering massive figure was still as imposing as a mountain, emitting a suffocating pressure.

Perfikot knew clearly that this eting would not be as simple as the last.

The change in the divine domain's atmosphere and the presence of Subordinate Gods and Divine Attendants this ti heralded that the eting would not be simple, possibly affecting the future trajectory of this world from so perspective.

Perfikot gripped the hilt of the Sword of Rebellion at her waist, simultaneously placing her staff on the ground, ready for combat.

Though she wasn't a warrior, if a fight was necessary, Perfikot was confident that in a mutual destruction scenario, she could take down at least half of the Subordinate Gods and Divine Attendants here.

Though strong, to her they were rely alchemy materials that could move.

If it weren't for the nurous Subordinate Gods and Divine Attendants here, Perfikot would have quite a bit of confidence in exiting unscathed.

But even now, it wasn't too bad; at least facing the War God, she could deal a harsh blow, letting him know humans won't tolerate insult.

Yet perhaps Perfikot misunderstood, or perhaps the War God had a plan, as she received no attack even when standing before the War God, not even verbal attack or insult.

The most harm she suffered was likely just the hostile gazes from these Divine beings.

"So, esteed War God, with such a display, what do you summon here for?" Perfikot asked the War God, probing for information.
