"I wasn’t the fastest."

The entity remained silent.

Waiting.

Listening.

Sean looked around the impossible stadium.

At the countless evaluators.

Then back toward the mysterious entity.

And finally said:

"If I deserve anything..."

The floodlights began flickering.

Sean took a slow breath.

Then delivered his final answer.

"I don’t deserve the Football God System because I’m greater than others."

The pressure across the stadium surged.

"I deserve it because I’ll keep moving forward with it."

A pause.

"And even without it."

Everything stopped.
