Roland checked one room after the other to no avail.
He realized that searching for that person had proven harder than he initially thought it would.

"Where are the others? It's already getting late, the leader is about to arrive in a minute or two. Call them now or receive punishnt later," he said strictly with a scoff.
In this mansion there were a total of fifty n including so nial workers that numbered less than a dozen. Aside from the n here, they also have other locations where the other mbers resided and were just awaiting orders.
From this alone as well as the fact that each of them were holding guns, one could already tell that their power level was at least a few tis higher than the Scar-face gang in Brine City.
This was pretty normal as the Scar-face gang were just a band of normal people who relied on Scar-face fa to create trouble at the Brine Dock Site.
Here on the other hand, was ford by a rcenary and was united to a common goal of accomplishing their tasks in exchange for money. And besides, Razor was a cultivator and was said to be an ex-bodyguard of an influential figure in Fore City, if he banded so normal plebs with no capabilities, it would be too disappointing.
This mansion was their main base of operation as Razor, the leader of the whole rcenary group resided and lived here.
When the other mbers heard the man saying punishnt, they imdiately shivered in fright, thinking of the ti when one of them was punished by Razor for misbehaving.
Five of them imdiately responded and hurriedly searched for the missing mbers.
In the dark, Two and Three nodded at each other and reported everything to Roland.
Earlier, as Roland and One had still not found Razor yet, they ca to a decision to make Two and Three create a ruckus so that everyone would gather and be in one place.
Two and Three were just about to create a loud commotion when that mber noticed the anomaly, saving them a lot of ti and effort.
Roland and One slowly retreated and went to et with Two and Three outside the mansion.
After they t with each other, they waited for the eventual panic that would ensure a mont later.
"Ergency! Ergency! Our wheels have been damaged. None of our vehicles can be used now!" A man shouted in panic as he ran around and inford everyone of the situation of their vehicles.
When the others heard it, they thought that he was joking at first. However, when they arrived to inspect the vehicle themselves, they realized that all of them were truly out of air and were all lying flat.
One of the more observant mbers noticed the hole on each of the tires and imdiately shouted, "Enemy! Enemy! We have been invaded by an enemy!"
As his voice echoed in the surroundings, those who heard imdiately went alert as they pulled out their guns respectively.
With the commotion going on, Roland and the others only need to wait for Razor to co out.
The mbers retreated from the parking area in a vigilant manner as they ca in front of the mansion again.
A mont later multiple people also rushed out of the mansion, their eyes vigilant on their surroundings.
One, who was standing behind Roland, had his eyes lighting up for a mont as he finally saw cultivators aura around the crowd.
He secretly communicated with Roland and told him his findings.
'There's ten of them in total?' Roland looked at the group of rcenaries in disbelief, thinking that he might have underestimated this rcenary group.
He thought that they only needed to watch out for the gun and Razor, but it turns out there were also other formidable opponents here aside from Razor himself.
'How's their level of strength?' Roland asked One telepathically.
He thought that they might still have a chance if their power levels were not that strong.
A mont later, One shook his head, 'Nine of them are strange. But the one in the middle is strong. As strong as you at least!'
One elaborated further and explained the nine people had a strange flickering aura around them.
The thod used by One determined whether the enemy was through his own perception of danger that was heightened even more compared to Roland.
He gauge their powers by the level of threat they were emitting according to his perception.
The reason why he said that the nine of them were strange was because of the fact that their danger levels were flickering like a candle that was about to die. Sotis their danger level was there, sotis, it would disappear and then reappear again like smoke.
Hearing that, Roland nodded his head thoughtfully.
'As expected of cultivators, they are truly bizarre,' he thought to himself.
'For now, if their danger levels were present, how strong would they be?' he asked One.
