"Seriously, why did you assu that Roland was talking about you?"
Madison's retort made even Roland a little speechless.
He did not know that she has this side of hers as well.
Though, what she said was indeed right. Anna imdiately assud that it was hers that he was talking about.
Well, it was the truth, but right now, Madison was still oblivious, making her fiercely retort to Anna who was now tongue-tied from the sudden outburst of Madison.
Anna stared at Madison speechlessly. This was the first ti that she saw Madison get worked up like this as well.
Hearing her retort, Anna could not find any words to answer her back. After all, what she said was indeed the truth.
Were they friends? No!
Did Roland ntion her? No as well!
Then why did she assu that it was her? She had no idea as well.
With a red face, Madison reluctantly slumped back to her chair.
The commotion in which she started was resolved by Madison's outburst just like that.
On the other hand, at the furthest row at the back of the room, Bryan looked at the commotion in front as he gritted his teeth in anger.
He saw the whole situation unfold from the beginning, but did not hear the whole situation clearly.
At first, he thought that Anna had the upper hand as she even stood up fiercely. However, he later saw her sit down again in embarrassnt, making him feel extrely outraged.
Added with the fact that his plan regarding the Sparkling Buds seems to have failed, he seethes in anger as he looks at her girlfriend getting 'defeated' by Roland. As her boyfriend, he also felt that he lost to Roland once again.
Speaking of Sparkling Buds, Bryan had still not managed to contact Razor since yesterday. He thought that he was extrely capable, and hence decided to sleep peacefully yesterday.
However, when he woke up, the viral post of that student was what greeted him on his dissbook feed.
He also learned that nothing seed to happen to Sparkling Buds at all and that their custors seed to have taken a liking to the store even more.
Bryan tried to call his father about Razor's disappearance and reported that the latter might have already betrayed them to the opposing party.
However, instead of sending him a new batch of 'troops' his father actually berated him from it, saying that Razor was hired for a high price and that all he was doing was making the guy personally do so dirty work.
Getting berated by his father early in the morning made his entire day look dark.
Added with the recent event in front, Bryan's anger ter seed to have reached the peak.
Just as he was about to stand up to 'protect' his girl, Madison suddenly stood up and went in front of the board.
Looking at Madison, Bryan also felt rage as he thought that she was an accomplice of Roland. He gritted his teeth as an evil plan ford inside his head.

Earlier, seeing that Anna had returned to her seat, Madison rolled her eyes at her and looked at Roland again.
Anna's sudden interruption indeed made her lose a little bit of her composure. And knowing the fact she embarrassed Roland in front of the public before, her patience imdiately died as she flared up.
She shook her head and forcefully cald her emotions down.
She looked at Roland and asked with a forced smile, "So? Who did you an by that?"
She was also curious about this.
As they say, outsiders were better observers. And as an outsider, she thought that Roland saw sothing that she didn't.
However, Roland shook her head and answered, "Never mind!"
He then turned away, as if avoiding her gaze.
Heck, Madison's fierce side was scary.
If he admitted the truth that he truly ant Anna and her new circle of friends from his statent, won't that be the sa as him face-slapping himself?
Heck no!
As they say, staying silent was much better than talking about aningless things. Who knows if Madison would be able to find so kind of retort from his words like what he did to Anna earlier? That would be scary.
Seeing that Roland doesn't have the intention to talk to her anymore, Madison regretfully stood up and walked towards the blackboard with a folder in her hand.
She stopped and tapped the board a few tis, garnering everyone's attention yet again.
"Attention everyone!" She shouted, as everyone's head turned to look at her.
"Now that you guys have already familiarized yourself with your seat and your neighbors, it's now ti to start our first lesson of the sester."
She then opened the folder and took out its contents.
"I have here a set of questionnaires regarding our lessons and learnings from the last sester. This is not a graded test so you guys don't have to worry about anything. You can think of this as so kind of refresher course."
"Of course, this also determines the fact if you truly listened to the lessons before, so you must still answer them seriously, alright?" As she said that, Madison walked towards Roland and began to hand out the questionnaires prepared by their teacher.
After handing the questionnaires and making sure that everyone got one, Madison finally told them to begin answering.
Roland was also the sa.
He took a simple glance at the questionnaires and realized that they were truly easy. All of them have been discussed already before.
Answering them was a piece of cake for him. Especially now that his soul was already level 3, which indirectly allowed him to have better mory than others.
He answered the questions one by one with ease and finally arrived at the last number- 40, ten minutes after Madison told everyone to start.
He dropped his pen and leaned back on his chair, as if to relax.
On his side, Madison, who decided to race with Roland without him knowing, saw at the corner of her eyes that Roland seed to have finished already.
As his rival, it hurt her pride seeing that Roland finished before her.
"You're done already?" Madison could not help but ask doubtfully.
Roland did not try to hide the truth and answered truthfully, "Yes, the questions are fairly easy and anyone who attended the sester would surely be able to answer them without fail."
He said it in a matter of factly voice as if it was the universal truth.
If the guys at the back heard his words, they would surely stroke him to death. After all, who would rember everything they had covered from the previous sester? Who would bother to do it?
Right now, they were still at question number 5, and their answers from the previous four numbers were only due to them choosing randomly.
On the other hand, Madison also looked at Roland as if he was a monster.
At this mont, she was only halfway through answering all the questions. In the sa ti span, Roland has already finished his questionnaires, and by the looks of it, he seed to have not sweat at all.
Madison gritted her teeth and resud answering her questions.
In this imaginary race that only she was aware of, Madison was defeated fair and square, and quite ruthlessly at that.
Roland ignored Madison as he stared at the Face-Slapping Store. Now that he needs a lot of points to buy the potion, he thought that the best way to get stronger was by buying skills and knowledge.
Roland planned to buy a few later. And along with that, he also planned to buy so new recipes to further expand the scale of Sparkling Buds' service.
Right now, the only recipe that could be considered their own was the Sparkling Chicken, which was now called the 'fried chicken of heaven'.
Without it, who knew if there would be any custors visiting the store at all.
Sooner or later, Roland knew that they would get used to the taste of the chicken, and it won't be as heavenly anymore. Repeated consumption of the chicken will just make the custor feel bored in the long run.
He thought that before it happens, he should buy new recipes so that they could have a variety of dishes to serve for their custors.
However, Roland thought hard and began to think of what recipe he should buy next.
He must not buy sothing in haste. It should be sothing that could still be used even in the future business that he might create. It should be sothing that can benift his 'other companies' in the future, and not sothing that would only work best with Sparkling Buds.
Roland rolled the Face-Slapping Store and searched for the most ideal product.
