Roland closed his eyes and clutched his head as he laid back to the bed. The transfer of knowledge was quite painful, even for him who has already leveled his soul thrice.
He could only grit his teeth as he waited for the downpour of knowledge and information to stop. However, it seems that Roland was not in luck this ti.
The knowledge transfer lasted for a whole ten minutes before it finally stopped. Allowing Roland to take a breather from the searing pain inside his head.
"Are you alright?" At this ti, even Stacey was woken up by his muffled groan of pain.
Fortunately, the knowledge transfer was already over.
"Yes, don't worry about it. Just had a bad dream," Roland stated, comforting Stacey.
Stacey wiped the sweat on his forehead and gave him a kiss on the forehead, "It's alright, I'm here."
She caressed his forehead with a lot of care, as if to wipe Roland's bad dream away.
Roland nodded his head in appreciation. Although there was no dream to swipe, the residual pain seed to have faded faster after Stacey's caring strokes.
After a while, Roland finally convinced Stacey that he was already okay. It was only then did Stacey decide to fall back asleep again.
After confirming that Stacey had already fallen asleep, Roland also digested what he just learned from the knowledge that he just got.
Apparently, cultivators would absorb an energy they terd as Heaven Energy to nourish their body and soul.

Roland closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, getting ready for the incoming onslaught of information once again. However, instead of pain inside his brain, Roland only felt a gentle breeze brushing past him before the expected onslaught of information receded.
Roland opened his eyes in surprise and elation. It was fortunate that it did not co with pain like the Basics of Cultivation.
As he felt elated, Roland hurriedly accessed the gained knowledge and he noticed sothing different right away.
The mont he thought of the cultivation thod, an actual book actually materialized inside his head at the sa ti.

The book was seemingly floating in mid-air. It kept on rotating itself, as if to show its whole self to Roland. The book was not big, only the size of a human head. It was also not thick, indicating that the content inside was not nurous.
The title, 'Universal Cultivation' was printed at the cover of the book with golden and majestic markings and a unique font that Roland had never seen before. Roland observed the rotating book with great curiosity.
After admiring the title, Roland finally flipped the front cover open with a single thought.
And as if complying to his orders, the book cover was actually lifted open, revealing the first page of the book.
Which was surprisingly, just a blank space…
Anyways, Roland did not think too much about it as he thought of flipping the page once again.
This ti, Roland could finally see so contents inside of it. With great curiosity, Roland read the text written on the first page.
"The Universe as your furnace, the stars your weapon, and planets your ridian, cultivate the ultimate secret and control Heaven as if it is your own…"
Reading that first sentence, sothing seed to have exploded inside Roland's head.
