His expression darkened as he looked at Roland with rage in his eyes.
The commotion attracted the attention of others. The surroundings began to settle down as they slowly walked toward the two.
The man with the spiky hair looked at them with a grin on his face.
"What's going on, Noah bro?"
The spiky-haired guy looked at his friend and said, "This brat doesn't know his place."
Pointing at Roland with trembling hands.
The man frowned upon hearing Noah. He looked at Roland and stared at him intensely.
"Guys! Can you believe it? This brat actually said that he doesn't like my Terrari."
'Hmm? I did not say that, did I?'
Roland looked confused as he heard Noah's words.
His eyes lit up as he thought of sothing, he did not stop them, and instead allowed them to continue with their fuss.
Silently, though, he took out his phone and texted soone.
anwhile, Noah and his group of friends, as well as those who were taking pictures of his Terarri had already all co over to surround him.
"Hey, do you think your opinion matters? How can soone like you even understand the value of this car?"
The guy who spoke was the one that called Noah a bro. He was wearing a leather jacket with his hair dyed in silver. Like Noah, a gold chain was seen hanging from his neck with a huge dollar sign as a pendant.
He looked Roland up and down, then sneered.
"Hey guys co look at this. Ordinary shirt, ordinary pants, and what's that? A cheap imitation of so random shoes? You probably take the bus every day, right? And you dares to say that Bro Noah's Terrari isn't good?"
"Open your fucking eyes! That is a brand new Terrari! A brand new super car. Do you understand?"
The crowd burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Maybe he has never sat and even seen a super car before?"
"Hahaha! Don't say that. Maybe he has… in the movies?"
"Bro Noah and Lyle, why are you even arguing with this kind of person? It only lowers your status."
Noah's expression beca smug after hearing their flattering words. The anger on his face slowly vanished, turning into pride. He crossed his arms and looked at Roland as if he was looking at an ant.
Despite, all of this, Roland remained silent.
He would not argue with them. It won't be long before they would stop anyway.
He only glanced at the ssage on his phone. A smile surfaced on his face as he received the reply he wanted.
On the other hand, his calm appearance made Noah feel uncomfortable.
Why was he not panicking?
Why was he not explaining himself?
Why was he not apologizing?
This was not the first ti that Noah and his group had made such an act.
Normally, when poor people were surrounded by them, they would imdiately lower their heads, turn nervous and imdiately apologize for their mistake. Heck, so might even kneel down and kiss their shoes.
But Roland was just standing there.
He was calm, and did not feel the pressure that the group was trying to convey.
After all, how could he feel pressure from a bunch of kids?
Do they even know what being rich truly was?
His reaction made Noah and the others feel like their punch had landed on cotton.
"Hey!" Noah stepped forward. "Are you deaf?"
He could not take it any longer. The reaction he wanted was not provided by Roland.
Roland raised his eyes slightly.
"What?"
Noah's eyebrow twitched.
"What? You still dare to ask what?"
Another spiky-haired man beside him laughed coldly. "Bro Noah, this guy is just pretending to be calm. He is probably trembling inside. I an, look at him. He looks like he is sweating buckets, and is about to pee himself from nervousness.."
The crowd laughed hysterically.
"No, no. Maybe he's calculating how many years he needs to work before he can afford this kind of Terrari?"
The crowd laughed again.
So people took out their phones and began recording.
"This is going to be funny."
"This guy actually offended Noah? If he just said that the Terrari is cool, none of this would have happened."
The guy shook his head in disappointnt. He was actually one of Noah and other's victims before. He also experienced the sa situation as Roland. However, back then, he quickly apologized and was then later included into their group.
It was also then that he realized that it actually felt great to boast around with a group of rich friends.
Roland looked around at the crowd.
Most of them were just spectators. They did not know what had happened. They only saw Noah's expensive car and naturally assud he was right.
After all, he just said he doesn't want to take a picture of his Terrari.
Only a fool would feel mad in regards to the opinion of others.
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, and everyone has their own free will.
Well, in this world, people often judge truth based on appearance.
A man with a luxury vehicle could say sothing and the people would assu that he was right.
A man wearing ordinary clothes could tell the truth, and people would call it arrogance.
Roland sighed lightly.
In the end, it all boils down to one's capability and outlook in life.
The truly rich would not feel the need to address sothing minor, while those posing to be one always wanted the attention of others.
They always wanted all of their actions to be praised.
Noah heard his sigh and felt that he was being looked down upon.
"What are you sighing for?"
Roland said calmly, "Nothing. I just think it is troubleso."
"Troubleso?" Noah almost laughed from anger. "You offended , insulted my car, and now you say I am troubleso?"
"Did I?"
"Still denying it?" Noah pointed at him. "I heard you loud and clear! Everyone must have heard what you said as well"
Roland tilted his head. "Did they?"
