The sll of sea breeze greeted Roland and Stacey as they alighted the Budi R8 Coupe after parking it in front of a huge hotel.
The orange sky signifies that the sun was about to set, and the 25th was already about to end.
The yacht would only co tomorrow, so they planned to stay at this huge hotel called QP first.
Wearing his usual normal looking shirt, he and Stacey went to the reception to book their own room.
As it was the holiday, and Brine City was a popular city with a lot of tourist destinations, the QP Hotel was now almost full.
"Sir, Ma'am. I apologize for the inconvenience but the only vacant rooms we have are the VIP ones." The reception inford them respectfully.
For Roland and Stacey, money was not a problem as long as they had a comfortable place to stay for the night.
"Alright, that one then." Roland replied casually.
The receptionist nodded her head, she imdiately understood that Roland and Stacey did not co from a simple background for them to instantly arrive at the decision about booking a vip room.
The QP Hotel was one of the top hotels of Brine City. The rate was 100 Global Dollars per night in a normal room.
The VIP ones have an extravagant rate of 5000 Global Dollars per day. Of course, this already included a full course al throughout your stay and the VIP room was also countless tis better than the normal rooms.
"How many days do you plan to stay, Sir?"
"Just a day would do."
"That would be 5,000 Global Dollars, Sir!" The receptionist smiled as her fingers ran across the keyboard in front of her.
Roland nodded his head in understanding. Just as he was about to pay, Stacey suddenly held back his arm as she took a black atm card on her wallet.
Seeing the black atm car, Roland imdiately realized that it was also a World Premium Bank's card. However, although it may look the sa as his, Roland could notice so subtle difference on the surface of the card, making him guess that it might be of a different class than the one given by the System.
On the other hand, the mont the receptionist saw the black card, her eyes imdiately lit up as she bowed to Stacey, "Please forgive for my rudeness earlier, Ma'am, I didn't know that you are a WPB card holder."
Roland tilted his head hearing the receptionist's words, 'Does having a WPB card make a difference?'
The World Premium Bank was one of the most prestigious banks in the whole world. It was said that one needs at least to be a billionaire in order to open an ordinary account. However, it was said that this was only the basic requirent and that one needs to at least have so sort of guarantee before an account could be opened for them.
A WPB card holder not only ant that the person was a billionaire, but it also ant that he or she had the right influence to open an account.
This was the reason why Stacey beca more firm on her belief that Roland was a hidden bigshot the mont he took out his black and golden WPB atm card.
As soone from a rich household, Stacey was aware of the importance and the real value of such cards as she and her family also have one each.
At this ti, Roland still did not know the real power of soone who has a WPB card. Heck, he did not even know that one needed at least a billion Global Dollars just for the initial requirents to open an account on the said bank.
Noticing the change of attitude the receptionist showed to her the mont she pulled out the card, Roland could not help but think that there might be a catch to it.
The receptionist dispelled his confusion at the next second.
"Ma'am, as you know, as a WPB mber, you are entitled to stay at the highest floor of the QP Hotel for the sa price as the VIP rooms but with 50% discount."
Everywhere they went, a WPB card holder was treated as a VIP, and in a G-Grade City and in a poor province like Pearl Province, those who had a WPB account could be counted in one hand.
In fact, the highest floor of the QP Hotel was only there to entertain such guests, but it was only due to formalities, none of them would have really thought that a prestigious WPB card holder would really stay at their hotel one day.
"Alright, give us that. Thank you!" Stacey replied calmly.
She already knew of the benefits of such an account beforehand. Fore City was only a poor city, most of the people there knew of the WPB's influence, but none of them truly knew the real benefits of holding one, including Roland. They only knew that a WPB card was rare, they did not know that it was actually extrely rare.
In fact, the hotels there would not even consider the fact that a WPB card holder would visit their hotel one day, unlike the QP Hotel, who had so basic courtesy, even though it was just for formalities.
In the end, the formalities served them the embarrassnt of not being able to accommodate a WPB card holder satisfactorily. It could be said that they could brag this to their competitors in the coming years.
The receptionist nodded her head respectfully. This was the first ti she saw a real WPB card in person, she could not help but feel excited.
She presented the card reader to Stacey with trembling hands. Stacey swiped her card and inputted her pin code. 2500 Global Dollars were imdiately deducted from her balance in the next mont.
After the paynt, the receptionist let her partner handle her post as she led them to the 10th floor personally.
Arriving at the luxurious 10th floor, Roland could not hold his curiosity anymore as he asked Stacey, "Does having a WPB card truly have that many benefits?"
