Chapter 1147: Chapter 1145: Colorful Wei

Is this the Shattered Crown’s response to a violent intruder like ?

Jingjing observed the extraordinary scene before her, and Fu Qian sighed inwardly.

The singing continued to reach her ears, sounding increasingly unpleasant at this distance.

But she would have to et the singer no matter what.

This was the entity she managed to confront after a series of violent maneuvers since entering the Shattered Crown.

Less than a minute after crushing the Fishman’s skull, this song erged; to Fu Qian, the timing seed excessively coincidental.

Whether it was well-intentioned or malicious was hard to say, but if this response was due to her actions, it almost certainly ant one thing—the singer can perceive events happening far in other fragnt seas.

In other words, compared to other beings, they have an extraordinary perception of the Shattered Crown.

If there was indeed a way out, the singer would likely know of it with greater probability.

Of course, that wasn’t what Fu Qian was concerned about.

With such transcendent insight, how could the singer not sense the anomaly she brought?

A probe far more sensitive, that would be the valuable discovery for herself.

Consistently watching Fu Qian’s face, unfortunately without his signal, even slowing down seed too daring for the Poacher Group.

In the blink of an eye, the ship swiftly approached the unique Floating Island.

At this distance, the clear patterns on the immobile leaves were very visible.

“Are we going in?”

The next mont, seeing Fu Qian stand up without hesitation, Rachel hesitantly asked.

It was clear that she was quite nervous about this strange place.

“It’s who’s going in.”

Fu Qian shook his head, slightly correcting her phrasing.

“Just you? But…”

Rachel, who wasn’t interested in endangering herself, was sowhat anxious when she realized her companion intended to act alone. She glanced at Lann unintentionally, halting her speech.

It was clear that as a criminal accomplice, she knew all too well the style of these people.

No matter how scared they seed now, they wouldn’t hesitate to stab her in the back given the chance.

Of course, if Mr. Fang left, they wouldn’t need to stab her in the back to deal with her.

“Yes, I’m in a rush.”

Unfortunately, the next mont, his response left Rachel, who had resolved to brave the dangers together, at a loss for words.

His decision to act alone wasn’t because he considered the place dangerous, but because he saw her as a burden.

“Are you worried they’ll be unkind to you if I go?”

But just as she felt despair, Mr. Fang bluntly addressed her very concern.

“Not at all…”

“Rachel, you worry too much…”

“After losing so many, fighting among ourselves, how could we be that foolish…”

With these words, including Lann, the group hurriedly expressed their stance.

“It sounds very sincere.”

Fu Qian comnted.

Do you actually believe this nonsense?

Rachel didn’t know what to say for a mont.

“Don’t worry, Captain Lann won’t be so foolish until my death is confird.”

Amidst her hesitation, the man had already jumped from the speeding ship and headed straight for the Floating Island.

However, this last sentence made Lann stiffen.

The aning was quite clear: he did not trust these people’s promises at all; what he believed in was his own ability to strategize.

In fact, this was the truth. It seed that Mr. Fang did not have much connection with Rachel and probably wouldn’t care if she died, but Lann definitely wouldn’t dare take that bet.

Unless he was dead.

Slowly slowing down the ship, Captain Lann watched the bargain-rate passenger swiftly disappear into the thick forest and turned his head to glance at the remaining crew, suddenly realizing that upon reaching this point, he had no idea what to do next.

Even including the one who left, he didn’t know whether he wished him success or failure.

There’s even a river in the middle of the island, broad enough to allow that ship to co through.

At this mont, Fu Qian, soaring through his steps, was comnting on the scenery he encountered along the way.

He didn’t worry at all about what the group behind him would do next.

Having co this far, no matter how much internal struggle they had, it’d be impossible not to co in.

The ship loaded with materials – how could they easily cast it aside?

It’s practically a pilgrimage path.

The Floating Island was vast, but it still wasn’t enough to challenge Fu Qian’s speed.

Soon, he approached the source of the sound.

And for the latter part of the journey, he was almost following the riverbank.

The river wasn’t perfectly straight, but its width was consistent, andering towards the center of the island.

And along the way, a certain speculation was confird once again – this island at first glance bursting with life was still devoid of any living creatures.

He arrived.

The next mont, Fu Qian stopped in his tracks, and the scene before him opened up.

Behind a particularly towering “forest” was a rather large lake.

The sa grayish-white water, so tranquil there wasn’t a single ripple.

On the opposite side of the lake stood a rugged cliff face.

From near this spot, the singing had completely ceased, yet this did not prevent Fu Qian from pinpointing a certain location behind the cliffs.

What an unusual feeling!

Following the lake’s edge, passing step by step through the gray-white woodland, Fu Qian watched the landscape erge bit by bit from behind the cliff.

There was a sizeable cave there, grander than the one Lady Li Min had found.

But that wasn’t what Fu Qian ant by unusual.

Right now, there was sothing inside, a being of the Transcendent realm.

But even he couldn’t discern its Ranking; even its presence was blurry in his senses.

This rare situation was also a sign of danger.

Fu Qian felt reassured by this, his steps not hesitant in the least.

The next mont, an object shaped like a sparkling tail gradually appeared in his field of vision.

A rmaid lying there asleep?

Except isn’t that tail a bit too long?

Fu Qian assessed the dazzling scene within the gray-white waters.

That sparkling length was clearly distinct from both Fishn and rmaids.

Completely crystalline, even without fins, it resembled beads strung together rather than a fish tail.

Its length was exaggerated, stretching into the cave and disappearing around a corner without any sign of the upper body.

But there was no doubt, the song just now had co from inside.

“Hello there!”

Taking steps across the water, Fu Qian politely greeted.

No response, not even a flick from the tail.

“Sorry for intruding, I actually just have a question to ask.”

Unperturbed, Fu Qian continued with a friendly tone.

“Where can I collect the ntal distress compensation for listening to the song just now?”

“Go back… this place wasn’t prepared for you.”

This ti, a voice finally ca from inside the cave.

To be fair, the voice speaking was much more pleasant than the singing.
