Chapter 1319: Chapter 1317: Taboos Before the Hall

“Careful, this thing seems different from before.”

An abrupt mutation occurred, as Reginald sprayed blood, the observing Amila displayed remarkable composure in the crisis and a non-combat characteristic.

Simultaneously giving a warning, a familiar pattern gathered on her body and projected onto Reginald.

The shocking wound on his neck saw the blood flow suddenly slow, even budding with tiny granulations.

A healing ability she had previously demonstrated once.

Her response was swift, yet her attacking ans were clearly extrely lacking.

Otherwise, she would likely deal with the pollution first, then the injuries.

For Reginald’s predicant, re healing was of limited significance.

“Leave the wound alone for now, the perception in the covered area… has been completely deprived.”

The injury noticeably made it difficult for Reginald to speak, his voice even sounding a bit airy.

“Okay.”

Amila didn’t waste words, either. More recognizable patterns quickly ford on her hands, and a gentle surge spread outward.

Fu Qian recognized it at once; it was the psychological counseling he had received earlier in the confession room.

It turned out this thing was effective even beyond humans.

As the surge swept over, the fluid on Reginald’s body slowed significantly, and even the tearing at his neck stopped.

Taking advantage of this mont, the bright trace Reginald had just gathered reappeared, and the familiar glow of Lead Fla finally ignited.

When the tearing at his back resud, and he nearly fell with the loss of sensation, the tallic fire on Reginald’s body had successfully ford into a snake.

In the next mont, the long snake raised its head and bit down fiercely on the foul object on his back.

Bang!

The familiar after-the-act, familiar explosion, under a nearly identical ball of fire, Reginald stumbled out.

His back was already a complete ss, only it was gratifying that the noxious-slling viscous fluid shrank considerably under the impact.

However, it wasn’t completely removed; his entire right calf was still tightly encased.

Reginald wasn’t too panicked; the situation had significantly improved compared to before, not to ntion there was a battlefield Doctor, so a fair trade of injury for injury was acceptable.

Ah—

Yet as he prepared once more for life and death, the Doctor’s scream reached his ears.

Looking in the direction of the sound, he saw a well-dressed middle-aged woman clinging tightly onto Amila’s back, hands and feet wrapped around.

She didn’t bite Amila’s neck; the scream was due to the steel-needle-like black hair sprouting all over Amila’s body.

As if she was wearing a bear-hunting suit, the black hair pierced brutally through Amila’s palms, shoulders, neck, and even chest, leaving her riddled with holes in an instant.

The attacker had been one among the spectators.

The previous evaluation was correct; there were issues far beyond one person. Her mutation was clearly so special kind of pollution.

Silently exploding, the woman clearly chose her target wisely, directly ambushing the healer.

The situation thus beca stalemated again.

Watching this scene, Reginald hesitated for a second, unsure if he should continue to target his own leg.

Fortunately, this hesitation was resolved in an instant. The next mont, a broad sword burning with flas split the bear-hunting lady smoothly into halves.

It was Hunter Simon returning!

Seeing the powerful companion who descended from the heavens, Reginald was montarily overjoyed.

The pattern ford of Lead Fla on Simon’s broad sword seed to have changed.

Amila, drenched in the attacker’s blood, awaited a follow-up explosion that never ca.

This new pattern seed to bring sheer sharpness to the broad sword.

The conclusion just surfaced in the minds of Amila and others, and Hunter Simon proved it again.

After the lady first, he smoothly turned and swung his sword again.

Reginald’s right lower leg, together with his knee, was instantly cut off.

“Heal him.”

Addressing Amila briefly, Simon didn’t look at the stumbling Reginald for a mont and lifted the sword toward his right foot.

In a blink, the severed foot was enveloped by active fluid.

Then it even condensed at the cut, slowly pulling out a new limb.

In just a few seconds, the severed foot was firmly on the ground again.

And what connected to it was clearly a silhouette resembling Reginald.

As soon as it appeared, Reginald, just supported by Amila, straightened his body, mimicking the actions precisely.

“Lord Reginald?”

Realizing the oddity, Amila imdiately tried her healing technique again, yet while the blood flow in the hurt leg stopped, there was still no response.

The feeling just now was not wrong; this thing was indeed different.

Imitated Reginald seed wholly reduced to a puppet mirroring its actions.

As this thought just appeared, Amila found Reginald’s body convulsing violently.

Looking up, sure enough, the fluid-ford body had been cut into two by Simon.

Yet it was apparently not so easy to eliminate. The bisected body was rging once more in the blink of an eye.

Seemingly stimulated by the damage, beehive-like dense holes quickly erged above.

The body then expanded like rising dough, swelling several tis in an instant.

But on the other side, Simon didn’t take the opportunity to attack, instead examining his broad sword, showing a sowhat vacant expression.

Under that last slash, the surface of the sacred weapon was unexpectedly tainted with strands of black fluid, even swallowing and covering the traces of Lead Fla.

More than being different, this thing was now much more terrifying than before, like the very source of pollution projected onto it, considerably challenging.

Realizing he might not handle the thing before him, Simon had no intention of backing down, raising the desecrated broad sword again.

Yet it leaves one holding one’s breath seeing the colossal body before him mimic his actions, a vaguely ford sword taking shape in its hands…

“Coward!”

As this oppressing scene struck at people’s hearts, a thunderous shout surprisingly ca from above.

Before those yet aware could look up, an extraordinarily burly figure was already descending from the sky.

Amid the violent stomping sound, the black fluid body was directly stomped to pieces on the ground, splattering in all directions.

As the ooze settled, under nurous dazed gazes, the figure who had been seated steadily on the pulpit casually brushed a fingernail-sized fragnt to the ground, snorting coldly.

“How dare you gaze evenly upon .”
