Chapter 140: Chapter 139: Disorder (10)_1

“Speaking of which, where did you get this thing from?”

Fu Qian pointed to the object in the Baroness’s hand.

After all the Dragon Blood was drained out, it had now turned into an ordinary pocket watch.

“This is a Holy Relic from the church.”

The Baroness answered without any expression.

“Did you steal it from the church?”

Fu Qian suddenly ca to his senses; this person really was decisive in action.

“Making full use of it.”

The Baroness didn’t say much more and directly tossed the Pustule Stone over.

“You’d better leave as soon as possible.”

“The leader of those people below is nad Collison; that guy is a sadist, rember to avoid him at all costs.”

Concerned that Fu Qian might desert at the last mont, the Baroness very thoughtfully “escorted” him all the way to the bell tower.

It wasn’t until Fu Qian’s figure disappeared behind the door that she finally relaxed.

In the darkness, Fu Qian descended stealthily, quickly finding the cloaked mask he had discarded before.

Having dressed, Fu Qian swiftly recalled the prison’s layout.

According to the Priest, these prison guards, due to the side effects of awakening, inevitably reacted sluggishly.

This could indeed explain how he was able to escape so easily.

Now, having beco much more than he once was, he should theoretically be even more relaxed.

The only problem was where to find his target.

The deepest part of the prison, that definition was far too vague.

By now, Fu Qian had once again reached the corridor.

Repeating his previous tactics, he dodged the prison guards and quickly made his way to the lowest level of the prison.

This level was still very spacious, and at its center, there was a massive pit.

White bones were scattered everywhere inside the pit, so from humans, so from animals, probably many were those Deceased Discolored Ones.

His old cellmate would likely have ended up being thrown here if he had been a bit later.

What was strange, however, was that at this very mont, a huge group of prison guards were slowly circling the pit.

Clothed in the sa black robes, they maintained a fixed distance from each other, walking silently, resembling a black centipede eating its own tail.

This bizarre scene had Fu Qian clicking his tongue in wonder.

“Welco.”

Just then, a hoarse voice suddenly rang out.

“Welco~”

The next mont, the ring of guards stopped moving, and shiny black masks turned to look in unison, emitting a murmuring sound like in a dream.

“To kill the watcher and escape from prison, and yet you dared to co back!”

After the coordinated greeting, the hoarse voice spoke again, its tone full of twisted cruelty.

“Unable to sleep at night, have you co to turn yourself in?”

Fu Qian said with a smile, not at all surprised.

As soon as he arrived, he had found it odd—things were too normal, no different from when he’d left.

If it was possible that they hadn’t imdiately discovered the death of the prison guard due to his own actions,

then on the rest of the way down, so prison guards even seed to be avoiding him, which was suspicious indeed.

It was hard not to assu it was a deliberate trap.

Fu Qian’s choice was to play along with the ruse.

Ti was precious, otherwise how could he have reached the lower levels so efficiently?

“Well then, since you’re back, there’s no need to leave again.”

An individual now stepped out from the ranks of the guards, slowly approaching with a strange laugh.

“We have many things to discuss.”

Unlike the others, this person’s mask was golden.

Special attire often signified an elite enemy; there was a ninety percent chance this person was Collison.

Fu Qian shook his head and slowly took off his mask.

The next mont, Collison’s tone changed to one of suspicion.

“Dragon Feast?”

“It seems your information is quite astute,”

The apparently taken aback figure must have known that the Dragon Feast had not appeared for many years.

“Hmph, even if the Dragon Feast has returned—”

Collison hmphed.

However, he had only spoken halfway when he saw a grey-white dragon head appear in his field of vision.

A strong sense of crisis swept over him, and a blue-gray Mirror Shield materialized in front of Collison, its myriad facets twinkling.

But it maintained only for an instant before the Mirror Shield suddenly shattered, and an invisible breath struck directly at his chest.

The next mont, the sound of shattering glass filled the air as Collison’s body violently collapsed, with Crystal Shards flowing from underneath his cloak onto the ground.

In just a few seconds, the prison guards had lost their leader.

“My prisoner is finished… ”

Fu Qian, looking at the bewildered group, extended both hands forward.

“You may take into custody now.”

Eventually, Fu Qian, as a top-level dangerous individual, was taken to a corner of the prison amidst tight security.

A prison guard stepped forward, opened a heavy stone door, and herded Fu Qian into a downward-leading corridor.

If it were not for Collison giving his life away, this place would not have been easy to find on his own!

Fu Qian sighed inwardly as he walked down.

The group of prison guards clearly didn’t want to co down; as soon as Fu Qian entered, they locked the door from the outside.

Below lay a vast, lightless space, where a huge monster skeleton glowed eerily, the only source of light in the darkness.

Around the edges, other bones were faintly visible.

If that big sister were still alive, she would probably be here, right?

Wandering in this dark graveyard, Fu Qian observed his surroundings with the help of the bright bones.

Just then, a pale ice-blue light rose from the darkness.

The light grew from faint to strong, quickly overshadowing the phosphorescence of the bones.

The next mont, a huge creeping shadow erged from the pale light.

That was a uniquely shaped creature.

Its massive body faced away from him, the ice-blue skin seed to twinkle with specks of starlight, while its tentacles covered with ring-shaped patterns trailed all the way to the ground.

On its back were two coral-like imnse wings.

Sensing Fu Qian’s scrutiny, the figure gradually turned its head around.

In fact, Fu Qian couldn’t be sure if it was a head.

A clump of oval protrusions, covered with swaying rootlike tubes.

Within the wreath of roots, multiple eyes in an irregular arrangent looked at him.

Serene and elegant, it instinctively gave one the impression of a lady.

Fu Qian earnestly appreciated the scene before him, trying to commit this bizarre form to mory.

Ti passed, and the giant figure in front suddenly disappeared; the ice-blue radiance slowly converged in the corner.

A lean human figure appeared, atop his head a large black pointed hat.

“You, you are quite peculiar!”

The figure spoke with a hint of perplexity.

“Did you find my earlier form pleasing? ”

“Of course,”

Fu Qian nodded.

“Such an odd shape, shouldn’t most people be afraid?”

“How can one let mundane aesthetics replace one’s own judgnt?”

“The undulating tentacles, the elegant wings, the beauty of consciousness and life were interpreted perfectly.

How could such an existence be described as terrifying!”

“In fact, I even think it could be called a Sprite!”

Oh?

“So, which form did you prefer, just now or the current one?”

The figure in the corner slowly lifted its head, revealing a pale yet captivating face.

The extre contrast in so sense gave Fu Qian serious pause for thought.

“Each has its own rits.”
