Chapter 1417: Chapter 1415: Calamity Strikes (End)

The silence was palpable.

Every molecule in the air of the Forest Book House seed to register His Excellency Alarakir’s astonishnt.

After both sides had exhausted all their ans and efforts to achieve this compromise, that tool of a man just said that?

The Grand Fate Ming Emperor is indeed no ordinary person!

Although the last sentence was added by Fu Qian, as a superior being with sothing akin to emotions, Fu Qian felt it was reasonable.

So he even cooperated by putting on an arrogant expression.

“Huh?”

In contrast, although Su Gao was clearly surprised as well, her emotions were far less intense.

The mysterious demigod wielding Frost Power, in Mr. Fu’s style, almost certainly referred to himself.

Clearly in a predicant, he began to explain future matters.

“Okay.”

Faced with this overly confident deanor, Su Gao quickly smiled and agreed.

Even though the situation looked bleak, for her, if Mr. Fu had that confidence, he would certainly achieve it.

Moreover, theoretically, if the other party did cause trouble later, it would be more convenient for her to step in and handle it.

Mr. Fu’s reminder was obviously ant to prevent her from falling into so trouble.

“I noted it down, is there more?”

Without unnecessary formalities, Su Gao continued to ask.

“Yes, enjoy your rest ti.”

A promising student, Fu Qian was satisfied as he waved his hand readily.

Her special constitution could resist erosion, but that didn’t an it could do so indefinitely.

Alarakir’s refusal to give up was proof of that.

In that instant, the book house stirred once more.

Even in the face of such an offense, Alarakir did not kick anyone out, naturally not because His Excellency Alarakir had so masochistic hobby.

He endured sha and hardships only to astonish the world with a brilliant feat.

Yet the rare candidate now was being suggested to leave?

Obviously, Fu Qian’s neurotic act of stifling hope could never be accepted.

Unfortunately, more apparently, it seed acceptance was inevitable.

Upon receiving Fu Qian’s suggestion, Su Gao was slightly stunned but nodded with no objection.

With that motion, the illusory eyes above her head expanded to the limit with unstoppable montum.

Then, silently, she and her body vanished.

As gracefully as when she arrived, she departed without leaving a trace.

And she was entirely unaffected by His Excellency Alarakir’s will.

Within the Forest Book House, only Fu Qian remained, lounging with a headcage on.

Alas!

Compared to earlier, the silence now felt even more oppressive.

And the montum of simring rage was finally broken by Fu Qian’s long sigh.

“I’m not sure how long your Excellency has been confined here, but I wanted to say that tis outside have changed.”

And his words that followed were heartfelt and sincere.

“Societal developnt is progressing rapidly, with people living and working contentedly. From the transcendent to daily life, every field now focuses on cooperation and mutual benefit. Perhaps the outdated thoughts of the past need so revision.”

“I’ve already shown sufficient sincerity just now. Do you really want to continue with such choices that stifle initiative?”

Though spoken in a plain tone, the words carried imnse power, seeming to move even the ancient superior being Alarakir profoundly.

The evidence was that until the words finished, none of the hundreds of books flew up to strike Fu Qian.

Clang!

Instead, the sound of a heavy tal object hitting the floor resounded, as the Sweet Dream Cage, which might have offered so protection against such scenes, was directly removed by Fu Qian and thrown to the ground, showcasing a bold deanor.

“I’ve said enough. If you insist on being stubborn, then go ahead, what do I, Fu, have to fear!”

Such an overly profound gesture and transformation-like declaration was, of course, not because Fu Qian had ntally crippled himself.

The flow of ti in the dreamscape was not right.

Demigod Su’s ssage was rembered crystal clear by him.

Although it felt as if he had only been there a short while, the real ti was uncertain.

The Sweet Dream Cage, when worn for extended periods, had side effects.

Given the current predicant, Fu Qian had no interest in experiencing what a nightmare within a nightmare was like.

Disposing of one’s weapon after eliminating the target shows sincerity, a necessary trait for survival.

Crash!

Amidst the atmosphere building to its peak, as if responding to Fu Qian, movent finally occurred in the silent room.

In the absence of any visible force, all the books on the shelves cascaded to the floor like a waterfall.

And just as they flowed to Fu Qian’s feet, seeming to engulf him, everything shattered like bubbles, the dim corridor reappearing before his eyes.

After all, he was not an obstinate person.

His Excellency Alarakir, persuaded, chose to respect talent, releasing the Grand Fate Ming Emperor from the divine dream, only venting a little emotion with the last scene.

This is the version interpreted with goodwill.

To be more realistic, as the hope of the entire village, the deeper the erosion of himself, the toolman, the lesser his value.

Even if he wanted to stay, Alarakir might not agree.

Shaking his head internally, Fu Qian adjusted the previously inserted eyeball with his now agile hand.

“What just happened?”

And not disappointing, the Interlocutor’s voice sounded within five seconds of appearing.

“Who was that person?”

“Didn’t you say soone was supposed to guide Tyler? I’ve been waiting all this ti, and he’s still not shown any signs!”

“Oh, how long was the wait?”

The series of rhetorical questions reflected the Interlocutor’s mood well, yet Fu Qian’s tone remained leisurely.

“… From just now until now, it’s been enough ti for a whole night.”

The Interlocutor was audibly striving to stay calm, yet an undertone of grievance was unmistakable.

That long… now that makes sense…

It was indeed the right decision to remove the headcage just then.

Fu Qian pondered montarily, not rushing to respond.

“It seems like you might need more friends to help, or are there not any more?”

And as the Interlocutor continued to speak, a rare firmness was evident.

“If so, you may need to consider the tedious task of waiting.”

“Don’t expect to use the opportunity to extort; trust , my endurance for this place far exceeds yours…”

“Of course I trust you.”

His Excellency Alarakir remained silent throughout, and facing the Interlocutor who was surprisingly ready to flip the table, Fu Qian finally spoke while gazing into the empty corridor.

“But going back in is out of the question, it’s indeed late, and I’m actually here to say goodbye.”

“Goodbye…”

This remark clearly caught the Interlocutor off guard.

“Are you joking?”

“All good things must co to an end, saying so only adds to the grief of parting, my old friend.”

Fu Qian rely let out a sigh over the passage of ti.

“Fate willing, we shall et again.”

“Oh… so when are you leaving?”

The Interlocutor sounded quite overwheld by now.

“Ten.”

And yet the only response was a cold number.

Fu Qian lifted his gaze as if watching an invisible clock.

“Ten?”

“Nine.”

“Hmm?”

“Eight.”

“Wait!”

As Fu Qian reached the third count, the air near the nearest door began to warp, and a figure swiftly materialized.

The Interlocutor, mindful of his old friend, abandoned safeguarding the dreamscape outright, letting it dissolve.

“Seven.”

Unfortunately, the only response it got was another cold number.

“You…”

“Six.”

Ding…

With five numbers left in the countdown, a crisp bell chi sounded.

The last glimpse the Interlocutor had of his old friend was of him ringing a transparent bell in his hand.

And in the next mont, there was nothing there.

The transition was so smooth and natural, it almost prompted suspicions of invisibility on the spot.
