Capítulo 1816: Chapter 1791: Vulgar Fears (24)
Why am I at Salma’s house?
The scene shift is indeed unreasonable, but that doesn’t an the question shouldn’t be pondered.
Especially for Fu Qian, finding the answer doesn’t take much effort.
First of all, Salma isn’t dead yet, indicating the ti is before Bloodletting High School.
And looking out from the uncovered window, it’s clearly already late at night.
Combined with the watch still worn, it’s almost certain there’s so ti conflict, ruling out the night of the All Fools’ Day party.
Going back in ti, there really was an earlier scenario—a trio’s adventure in the old house.
If I rember correctly, at the end of that script, Butters and I concluded there were two places to confirm Wen’s whereabouts.
One was his ho, two was his girlfriend’s place.
Even though Butters seems to know Salma, he chose the easier option and let confirm this side.
With lights on outside but the bedroom dark, this can sowhat support that point.
An easy image to imagine is finding the place only to discover no one is around.
But Mr. Wolf, being overly professional, had no intention of leaving and chose instead to trespass.
Yet, in the midst of searching for clues, she returned.
Salma, upon returning to the bedroom, hadn’t yet turned on the lights before being attacked by a mysterious person hidden in the darkness.
This is just a possibility, but currently, it’s the most probable one.
After all, aside from being concerned about a friend’s whereabouts, it’s hard to imagine why I would be in a strange woman’s bedroom.
It can’t be that the rumored object of shifting affection isn’t Joshua but , right?
As for why there’s now a tendency to believe this cross-school romance indeed encountered issues?
It’s simple—with the bad news about Wen spreading, Salma hesitated for a mont before seemingly struggling even more.
It feels more like she’s inclined to take out her anger rather than seeing it as seeking help from her for this matter.
“What’s going on? Open the door quickly!”
anwhile, soone outside was already pushing the door, their tone sowhat anxious.
“That guy left us in the middle of nowhere and took off, I’m looking for him to have a good talk, do you know where he is?”
Although the situation was slightly urgent, Fu Qian had no intention of relaxing his grasp, either in his hands or behind him.
At the sa ti, based on his deductions, he supplented the earlier statent.
Pa!
At the sa ti, a light sound was heard as the nearby light switch was flipped on.
…
Light always brings a sense of security, as does the enemy’s enemy.
Although the latter saying isn’t very rigorous, at that mont, Fu Qian confird the struggle had eased.
He seed to have chosen the correct dialogue option.
“Talk? You can think about it for three seconds.”
Facing the vigorously turned gazing face, Fu Qian had no intention of hiding, allowing the person to observe him, and asked softly.
The familiar face was indeed Salma, only just now he seed to have used a bit too much force, leaving a red mark on her chin.
Also judging by her clothes, it was apparent she had just returned from outside, not having had a chance to change.
After a three-second stare down, without delaying further, Fu Qian imdiately released his grip.
Whoosh—
And Salma’s first reaction was a long sigh, incredibly not crying out.
“Let be quiet for a mont… I don’t want to talk to anyone right now!”
Staring intensely at Fu Qian’s face, she hesitated for a mont before taking a deep breath and shouted towards the door.
One has to admit, the mood was surprisingly well cultivated.
Furthermore, predictably, like most high school girls, she didn’t want her romantic relationship exposed to her family.
Upon realizing the intruder might not be a threat, she quickly chose to minimize the situation’s fallout.
“What’s gotten into you now!”
The fact is, the effect was quite successful, as the person pushing the door outside was probably her mom since the impolite response didn’t sit well with her.
But at the sa ti, after scolding once, she really didn’t continue to push the door.
“So are you going to shower or not?”
Of course, this didn’t imply the person left, as shortly after, the person outside asked again.
“Just go ahead and shower first; don’t you still have a date?”
Salma also promptly responded, coldly snapping back.
Sounds like this mother has a more happening nightlife than the young people.
“Suit yourself then, but fair warning, if you’re not ho when I get back, you’ll be in big trouble.”
The next mont, the person outside not only accepted Salma’s suggestion but also left with a rather hypocritical warning.
Regardless, with the sound of footsteps receding, a conflict vanished into thin air.
“I haven’t seen Wen today… are you his friend?”
It was only at this mont, staring at Fu Qian, that Salma changed her tone, shaking her head vigorously to indicate she didn’t know where Wen was.
“Not anymore; although not long ago, we were still discussing attending the party… just call Wolf.”
Not too surprised by this result, Fu Qian even introduced himself.
“Given my increasing frustration over ti, could you perhaps help think about where he might be?”
The next mont, Fu Qian didn’t beat around the bush, speaking in a not entirely non-threatening tone.
“Sorry, I’d love to help you, but I might be powerless.
The last ti I saw Wen was the day before yesterday, and frankly, if I see him again, I’d imdiately break up with him, I’ve wanted to be free for a while now.”
Salma evidently received this emotional cue to the point her breath beca noticeably finer, rigorously explaining herself.
…
So, it seems it really is a relationship crisis, no wonder Wen’s attitude was a bit complicated when the party was ntioned.
According to the “correct” thod to complete the script summarized earlier, matching the details this way is undoubtedly a good developnt.
But at the sa ti, it seems I am destined to leave empty-handed; it’s ti to go.
Slightly comnting silently, Fu Qian looked at the bedroom window. Judging by the height, it was on the second floor, so jumping down wasn’t an issue.
As for whether the script would conclude because of this?
Honestly, Fu Qian didn’t quite believe it would be that simple.
Perhaps the current situation doesn’t conflict with all the previous plotlines, but being a script, there should, at least, be so completion requirent, right?
From his perspective, simply jumping out like this has a probability of over half where the script doesn’t transition and he’d have to turn back.
Moreover, there might be a probability where this rash behavior triggers so negative effect, leading to task failure.
Retracting his gaze, the next mont Fu Qian surprisingly sat down on a nearby chair.
“It seems today is your lucky day, I have a strong premonition soone will co to visit you later.”
