Capítulo 1940: Chapter 1935: Accidents and Reasons
“What have you been up to?”
The return journey was just as long, but with the ability to enjoy the scenery along the way, the experience was considerably more pleasant.
As they finally approached the source of the voice, before Fu Qian and his companion could speak, Lord Aike couldn’t help but let out a low growl.
Perhaps for better effect, the caller even specifically ran into the Coffin Road.
Even though they once again lost their vision and Extraordinary Perception, Fu Qian still believed that she didn’t see them, but was rely judging by their footsteps.
Indeed, the Pseudo-Divine Being had already ended—everything was within calculations.
There was a long period without seeing anyone, then suddenly appearing with an unfathomable ranking, enough to startle the old man.
This ti, as long as he continued fulfilling his duties as an advisor, it would be fine.
“Sorry, there was an accident.”
Arriving before her in an instant, Fu Qian casually apologized.
“Co quickly.”
Without further expressing resentnt, upon hearing his voice, Aike instead heaved a sigh of relief, turned around, and motioned for Fu Qian and his companion to follow.
…
“Was there really an unexpected situation?”
The conversation below had obviously caught attention, and as they passed through the channel, finally coming back, the appearance of Fu Qian and his companion clearly caused a strong shock.
Su Gao was slightly better off, having only been covered in bloodstains when her body shattered earlier, and she was already wearing black clothes.
Fu Qian’s appearance was much more pitiful.
Although his wounds had mostly healed, the marks left by Su Gao’s very effective attacks on his clothes were undoubtedly alarming.
It wasn’t until Fu Qian’s earlier explanation that the others, who hadn’t thought much of it, realized that it was indeed a literal account.
“There doesn’t seem to be any unexpected situation here?”
However, before the others could ask questions, Fu Qian greeted them and then slightly frowned, looking around.
He wasn’t making things up—despite the notice that had Stoss rushing back, the ark appeared to be perfectly intact.
“Not long after you left, those ambers suddenly started moving, even feathers were erging from their bodies.”
Having pre-empted them, Aike’s expression was slightly peculiar as he quickly explained.
“Even though I did my best to manage it, the entire ship seed to be becoming more active, so for safety’s sake, I decided to call you back first.”
Oh?
Following Aike’s indication, Fu Qian observed the human ambers not far away.
As expected, regardless of being male or female, their abdons had repeated the previous body’s tragedy, with nurous folds appearing.
Unfortunately, according to Aike’s account, they didn’t give birth to new Brother Mals but erupted into feathers.
“It might be related to the final self-destruction; the attackers probably wouldn’t kindly repair this ship, and instead might have caused so other impact.”
Reflecting on this, Lord Stoss by his side simply explained his own thoughts.
“Although the specific purpose is still uncertain, and the disturbances have ceased, considering you’ve been gone too long, I had Aike try to inform you to return… So, what unexpected situation did you encounter?”
After quickly explaining the context, the old man straightforwardly confird the events that befell Fu Qian and the others.
“The passage below, and everything we saw up to now, likely belong to a child’s ntal World.
“Then, due to Professor Ah Kai’s attempt, so connections were temporarily established, resulting in this passage.”
This ti, before Fu Qian could respond, Su Gao had already directly answered and swiftly described the door at the end, the longhouse scene beyond it, and even the poignant conversation there.
As for the issues regarding her body, her explanation completely followed Fu Qian’s suggestion, that she had been strongly impacted due to Tides and Chaos.
Thankfully, with an advisor watching over, there was finally a chance for recovery.
…
“So everything we saw earlier was a symbol of the ntal World? That explanation seems more rational, including the abnormal darkness in that passage.”
The old man listened intently, seemingly in considerable agreent with Su Gao’s guess.
“A dream in a Chaotic World producing stronger-than-usual restraint… So, Professor Fu’s injuries were inflicted by sothing in that world?”
In the next mont, he turned to Fu Qian, expressing his concern and condolences.
“No, Su Gao cut .”
Yet Fu Qian’s response was surprisingly honest, directly gesturing towards Demigod Su with his eyes.
“Under the shock, I temporarily lost control for a while.”
Su Gao nodded naturally to this, admitting her violent behavior.
… Was that how you were watching over them?
It was clear this explanation was unexpected, as Ah Kai and Aike stood there with sowhat dazed looks.
“It was a very good outco, thank you, Professor Fu.”
Stoss appeared completely trusting, even due to the unexpectedness of the situation, thinking the account even more credible, and earnestly thanked Fu Qian.
“So, in your opinion, what should we do next?”
Not granting Fu Qian the opportunity to respond politely, the old man imdiately inquired about both of their views.
“Although we still lack sufficient reasons from inside, I lean towards continuing to wait.”
Su Gao had clearly reached a decision long ago, answering without hesitation.
…
Of course, they needed to continue waiting.
Fu Qian wasn’t surprised by Su Gao’s decision, even knowing the reasoning behind her conclusion.
Although this pursuit finally entered “reality,” the findings inside rely helped clarify the journey so far.
As for what to do next, it offered little significant guidance.
Yet, if one is flexible enough, there are still compelling reasons right in front of them—the disturbances occurring on the ship.
Based on Aike’s description, it was almost certain the previous suspicions were correct, that the commotion was Nepheli’s covert action to bring people back.
Even the timing, form, and scale… it seed that, in Fu Qian’s view, if he had been the one making choices, he would have made similar ones.
One of Su Gao’s reasons for insisting on exploring beforehand was her distrust of Nepheli’s words.
This reaction, to so extent, could be said to prove Nepheli’s attitude, indicating she most likely remained present.
The credibility of the words spoken during the tea break rose again, allowing them to more confidently await the end of the journey.
Nevertheless, Su Gao still opted for her previous strategy, requiring no reason, only an attitude.
“Agreed.”
And it was both of their stance.
Confronted with Lord Stoss’s gaze, Fu Qian nodded seamlessly.
Bang!
To seemingly echo him, as the old man furrowed his brows in contemplation, the downward passage suddenly retracted swiftly.
