Chapter 797: 795 Chapter Brain Erosion (11)_1 Chapter 797: 795 Chapter Brain Erosion (11)_1 At that mont, Dr. Kelly looked like she was ready to hit soone.

Especially when she turned around and saw Fu Qian’s eyes full of skepticism.

“You must take this today——”

She approached him, sowhat frantic, but before she could finish her sentence, the door was slamd shut with a bang.

Clearly, Sam was very compliant with dical advice.

“Open the door.”

The door nearly flattened Dr. Kelly’s nose, and the next mont, she decided to resort to brute force, demanding that Fu Qian use his specialized skill.

“Don’t be nervous, it seems this one won’t run either.”

Unfortunately, the assistant physician seed to have his own opinion.

With widened eyes, Dr. Kelly watched as Fu Qian, smiling, finished speaking and turned to leave.

“You still don’t trust ?”

Ultimately forced to chase after him, Dr. Kelly confronted Fu Qian with a cold voice.

“Professionalism, hardly worth ntioning.”

Fu Qian’s face was the picture of humility.

“Another small detail, if I rember correctly, you told that all these patients were noncompliant with their follow-up appointnts, but from the conversation I just overheard, Sam was advised not to co to the clinic?”

“Is this what bothers you? A minor detail. Rosetta hasn’t even been to the clinic yet,” Dr. Kelly scoffed.

“Yes, I sent Sam ho after noticing sothing was off with Nancy. I cleared the clinic’s patients as quickly as possible that day and instructed them not to return for a short period to avoid further misinformation.”

“It was only when reviewing the records later that I realized Sam’s condition was far worse than I had imagined.”

“Of course, you could indeed assu that it was due to that Sam missed his appointnt.”

“I see.”

Fu Qian listened very attentively.

The logic was reasonable but not overwhelmingly persuasive.

“But he didn’t recognize your signature just now.”

So, subsequently, Fu Qian raised a second doubt.

“I’ve only t him once. It’s normal that he wouldn’t recognize my signature,” Dr. Kelly admitted but still seed sowhat displeased.

“But he didn’t recognize Nancy’s either.”

“…Doesn’t this just prove the severity of his symptoms? What exactly are you trying to say?”

Dr. Kelly sounded like she was on the verge of losing her temper.

“Nothing.”

Fu Qian had already taken a seat in the passenger side.

“Let’s go. We’ll see the patient who will recognize your signature.”

“Honestly, based on my communication with Rosetta, she seed much more stable than these other individuals. Is it really necessary to make her take a tranquilizer as well?”

Although she had no objections to Fu Qian’s suggestion, Dr. Kelly was clearly in a bad mood. After a brief silence, it was Fu Qian who broke the deadlock.

“I was once her primary physician. I like to think that I am the only person with the authority to speak on her condition, perhaps even more so than she can.”

And faced with Fu Qian’s doubt, Dr. Kelly responded defiantly.

“Although I don’t know how she got here, I quickly noticed sothing was wrong after confirming it was Rosetta. Her condition was clearly more severe than before.”

“It seems your effect as the primary physician was average at best.”

While critiquing, Fu Qian pointed ahead.

“We’re here.”

There was no need for him to remind her; Dr. Kelly was already slowing down.

Clearly agitated by his words, the sound of the slamming car door was so loud that it even disturbed Rosetta in the coffee shop.

Still sitting there, the lady looked almost no different from when she had left.

However, the coffee cup across from her was clearly different—presumably, the previous one had been drunk by Fu Qian, and a new one had been replaced by Bernard.

“Dr. Kelly…”

Confronted with the two entering custors, with Fu Qian’s previous introduction, she had no doubt imdiately recognized Kelly.

“Rosetta, long ti no see.”

In this situation, Kelly slightly adjusted her emotions and greeted her.

“Please take a seat, the coffee’s gone a bit cold, I’ll go warm it up.”

Inviting Kelly and Fu Qian to sit at the table, Rosetta picked up the coffee pot with a smile and headed towards the back.

So far, she must be a rather special patient.

Watching Rosetta’s retreating figure, Fu Qian silently lanted to himself.

From the beginning until now, he had t each person twice.

Aside from himself, the simplest way to categorize them would be into two types—doctors and patients.

Although Nancy had been proven to be a patient, that wasn’t important.

The identity of a doctor is just a façade; her and Kelly’s characteristics, which set them apart from others, actually lay in cognition—they each had their own views of the world and wanted to act according to their understanding.

For example, regarding the patients’ conditions, the two doctors clearly had their interpretations, leading to two completely different narratives.

The other three were muddle-headed, and as characters in the story, they lacked the ability to discern the truth of the two accounts.

This was particularly evident in Sam.

Regarding his own account, that the doctor had told him to stay hidden at ho, neither doctor had denied it, but their explanations were obviously different.

Nancy believed he was one of her planned actors, whereas Kelly thought it was the result of her instructions.

But Sam was willing to provide so little information that it beca impossible to judge the accuracy of any story.

He didn’t even recognize either signature.

What made Rosetta different was that the information she provided contradicted the accounts of both doctors.

In Fu Qian’s view, this likely had to do with her special condition.

That was also why he refused to give Sam the dicine and ran straight to Rosetta instead.

He hoped, with her help, to verify a bold idea.

While he was pondering, Rosetta had returned with the coffee pot, along with two brand-new cups.

Setting the cups in front of them, she filled each one carefully. Just as Kelly was about to pour her own, she was abruptly stopped by Fu Qian.

“Fancy a taste of coffee laced with tranquilizer?”

This decisiveness!

In that instant, not only Rosetta, but Kelly too was completely shocked.

They had not expected the assistant physician, who had been ambiguous in his attitude at the other two locations, to be so resolute with this last patient.

Nonetheless, Fu Qian had no intention of explaining to her, only silently passing her a paper bag.

“Is there danger here?”

Rosetta paused for a mont, her expression suddenly turned more serious.

“Yes, it would be better to leave quickly.”

As he spoke, Fu Qian sighed inwardly.

He didn’t believe that Rosetta, accustod to life-and-death situations, would have much emotion known as “fear.”

Her so engaged reaction at this mont was plainly a cooperation with his “integration” into the world.

“I understand, thank you for the warning.”

The next mont Rosetta decisively accepted the paper bag, took out the tranquilizer from it, and dumped it into her cup.

She even genuinely mixed in an equal amount of coffee.
