Today is very sunny, with the sun shining brightly. Even though it’s early autumn, the heat of sumr hasn’t dissipated, and the weather is still a bit hot.
Yet Fairy Wangshu still wears her snow fox fur, as if this white fluff has already beco one with her.
She squats under the magic peach tree, her blue eyes carefully observing the flow of Profound Qi between the tree’s roots and stem, before cautiously watering it with the collected Spiritual Spring Water.
Watching the peach tree’s leaves sway in response to the spring’s nourishnt, Fairy Wangshu blinked happily, then extended her delicate hand to gently stroke the rough bark, softly saying:
"Grow up quickly so my junior can taste my peaches sooner."
Suddenly sensing sothing, Fairy Wangshu imdiately stood up and swiftly ran toward the mountain path.
At the end of the path stood a handso young man in a black robe. Feeling his senior sister approaching, he greeted warmly:
"Senior Sister."
"Junior Brother!"
Fairy Wangshu got very close, and You Su, who had been surrounded by lush fragrances all morning, suddenly caught the elegant scent from his senior sister, finding it refreshing and pleasant.
But he didn’t indulge, silently stepping aside to put so distance between them.
Fairy Wangshu’s eyes sparkled as she cautiously stepped forward again. Seeing You Su didn’t retreat further, she asked:
"What did the Third Elder have you do? Why were you gone for so long?"
Though it was just a morning, to his senior sister, it seed like ages had passed.
You Su mused, his senior sister clearly resembles a fairy, yet intriguingly clingy.
And rightly so, since he ascended the mountain, apart from closing the door to sleep or visiting the Master’s retreat, his senior sister seed inseparable from him. Even if they occasionally parted, he was mostly within her sight.
"Not much, just had a simple chat with ."
You Su, wanting not to lie, could only vaguely summarize.
Wangshu blinked, sensing her junior didn’t want to say more, so she didn’t pursue what was discussed but asked what was most concerning her:
"If it was just a simple chat, why does Junior Brother carry the scent of the Third Elder all over you?"
?
I was sitting on a blue boat being buffeted by the wind for so long, how can you still sll it, Senior Sister?
"You must be mistaken, Senior Sister. The Third Elder took to a flower field on Bihua Peak. These must be flower fragrances, not the scent of the Third Elder."
You Su also raised his collar and sniffed, finding no scent at all, so how did his senior sister detect it?
Unexpectedly, Fairy Wangshu circled behind You Su, her pure gaze focused on his rear.
"No, Junior Brother, it really is the scent of the Third Elder, and all over your backside."
You Su was at a loss for words. It must be because the blue boat is a Magical Artifact of the Third Elder, whose fragrance has already seeped into every fiber over the years.
Fairy Wangshu held her mask thoughtfully, suddenly asking:
"Junior Brother, did you sit on the Third Elder?"
You Su’s mouth twitched, wishing imdiately to stop his senior sister, urgently saying:
"Senior Sister, mind your words!"
If the Third Elder heard this, what would happen?
You Su, fearing more explanations would result in more confusion, simply changed the topic:
"Senior Sister, I have sothing to tell you."
Upon hearing this, Fairy Wangshu obediently followed You Su, returning to his room naturally as if it were her own boudoir.
You Su didn’t mind, as usual, pouring Fairy Wangshu a cup of tea.
After a brief hesitation, he finally spoke solemnly:
"Senior Sister, I might have to... leave for a few days."
As soon as these words left his mouth, he suddenly felt an increased pressure around him, even stronger than Mr. Liou’s. Even the light green tea in his cup rippled without wind.
"Junior Brother must not leave."
Fairy Wangshu’s words were cold and non-negotiable.
"Senior Sister, please listen to first..."
You Su struggled to speak, never expecting his senior sister would use such a thod to force him to stay. Can people really not be judged by their appearances? His consistently gentle senior sister could also be so assertive...
But then again, he had never seen Fairy Wangshu’s true face beneath the mask, so how could he judge her by appearances?
Only then did Fairy Wangshu release the pressure, allowing You Su to breathe a sigh of relief. He panted heavily a few tis, silently lanting his own weakness.
A pair of cold hands, however, rested on his back, gently soothing him, as Fairy Wangshu’s blue eyes showed a complex light, both apologetic and determined, she softly said:
"I’m sorry, Junior Brother, I didn’t an it. Please don’t leave, okay?"
You Su didn’t feel resentnt, his senior sister’s childlike nature shows her valuing him highly through such a strong-willed attempt to keep him. Her protective instincts were clear from when she shielded him at the Cloud Platform.
To You Su, these actions resembled a child unwilling to let a playmate leave, resulting in a tantrum. And with such a child, parents had only two options: persuasion or force.
Faced with a far stronger senior sister, You Su was clearly left with only the forr option.
"Senior Sister, I believe you didn’t an it, but please don’t treat your Junior Brother this way again, alright? I’m not your enemy."
You Su gently removed Fairy Wangshu’s delicate arm from his back, returning her hand to her side.
Fairy Wangshu felt a slight distance from You Su and lowered her head, entwining her fingers like a child who made a mistake, remaining silent for a long ti.
