"This must be the Pool Protection Array," You Su sighed.
"Indeed, Mr. Xu, I hope you truly have the destiny with the Jade Ring Pool, otherwise this false waterfall will prove real for you. As for where it might carry you, I can’t guarantee," said Mr. Xu.
You Su smiled, trusting the judgnt of the Third Elder, and having co this far, turning back wasn’t an option.
Xiaoyu also calmly gazed at the waterfall before them, holding the destiny granted by Mr. Yu in her hand. She certainly wouldn’t fear this array.
A lone boat, three passengers, heading toward the majestic chasm in the water.
Just as the boat seed about to plunge into the depths with the great waves, it unexpectedly floated through the air, as if immortals were supporting the vessel, carrying them to the opposite shore.
A violent pressure arrived swiftly but then dissipated completely. They passed through the Pool Protection Array’s barrier, truly reaching the waters of the Jade Ring Pool.
No mist obscured the view here, only warm sunlight and clear, gentle breezes, with several mountains like ink paintings and a refined dock built at the foot of the hills.
On the dock stood a noble immortal in a luxurious blue robe, exceedingly handso. He raised his hands as if invoking the calm waters beneath the boat, guiding it over. The boat moved steadily forward, yet the water below was as still as a mirror crafted from glass.
Now the boat was ashore.
"Mr. Yu, it’s been so ti since your last visit," the blue-robed immortal greeted the old man.
Mr. Yu was sowhat overwheld, hastily lifting the three bags of treasures and spirit stones:
"Mr. Yui, I finally saved enough money! I hope you can save my granddaughter!"
The handso man referred to as Mr. Yui smiled gently and flicked his fingers, causing the three bags of ’consultation fees’ to float to the shore.
"You are a good grandfather. We will heal your granddaughter."
Mr. Yu collapsed into tears, kneeling on the ground, overwheld with gratitude:
"Thank you, Mr. Yui! Mr. Yui is truly compassionate!"
Mr. Yui maintained his gracious smile and replied, "You should be thanking the Jade Ring Pool, not ."
"That’s right! Thank the Jade Ring Pool!"
Mr. Yu was both moved and excited, while You Su listened, feeling an indescribable unease.
The Immortal Family treating mortals for a fee was not sothing he could judge right or wrong; it simply didn’t align well with the idea of compassion.
Moreover, this Jade Ring Pool Immortal, do they truly care about a mortal’s collection of worthless tal? How impoverished must their Immortal Sect be?
"I didn’t expect Mr. Yu to bring two esteed guests to the Jade Ring Pool this ti!"
Mr. Yui’s smile swept over You Su and Xiaoyu’s faces, not offending, but rather making them feel invigorated like the spring breeze.
Since he knew Mr. Yu, he must have surely seen Xiaoyu before, and now upon seeing this unblemished Xiaoyu, he imdiately recognized her disguise.
"It is an honor to welco esteed guests. Please, both of you, step ashore so we might converse," Mr. Yui said, spreading his arms in warm invitation.
Xiaoyu furrowed her delicate brows and coldly asked, "Mr. Yui doesn’t ask who we are? Yet how do you know we are esteed guests?"
Mr. Yui laughed heartily, "Since you approached the Jade Ring Pool, we have known who you are. Across the Five Continents, both of you are distinguished figures, so how could you not be esteed guests to our Jade Ring Pool?"
You Su felt a chill in his heart; he had only recently arrived at the Divine Mountain without much achievent, yet his reputation had preceded him.
What further astonished him was that Xiaoyu’s disguise had eluded him, but the Jade Ring Pool knew even her real identity.
It seed the Jade Ring Pool remained secluded, yet only their internal news was restricted; external information was well gathered.
During his bemusent, Xiaoyu had already leapt onto the dock, light as a floating goose.
You Su followed her, turning back to thank Mr. Yu.
Mr. Yu ignored him, waving at Xiaoyu with a hint of reluctance. Xiaoyu remained indifferent, seemingly having returned to her essence, except for her current appearance.
"Mr. Yu, wait here; soone will co to fetch your granddaughter. Xiaoyu is unlike you; she has an immortal root and shouldn’t be a mortal fisherman. Once she is healed, I will have her join the Jade Ring Pool; you may visit her often."
The Jade Ring Pool Immortal waved his large hand, and his blue robe billowed as he turned:
"Honored guests, follow ."
The two stepped forward, walking towards the expanse of green mountains before them.
Behind, Mr. Yu knelt on the deck, solemnly bowing his head:
"Thank the Jade Ring Pool, thank the Jade Ring Pool..."
