Now reading: Chapter 27 - 25: Practicing Skills from Fairy, Don't Be Afraid, I Am Blind, a Eastern novel by Master Hu.

"The key to this statent is his astounding talent in Sword Dao, not that he found himself a junior sister."

"If his talent wasn’t high, would my few moves be enough to teach him?"

"You’re quite self-aware."

"Quick, tell how he found her? In this Heaven and Earth Yin Yang Joyful Union Sword Sect, besides you who joined out of desperation back then and the Little You Su I picked up, it’s been a while since we’ve had fresh blood."

"Or perhaps it wasn’t him who found her. She ca to us wanting to be apprenticed, but I could tell, she ca for You Su." The Fairy spoke indifferently, these events were three years ago, yet in her mories, it felt like yesterday.

"Oh, the kid’s got skills now. What’s the na of my second apprentice? Where’s she from? How does she look? Is she as pretty as your female apprentice?"

The woman on the other end of the sword was quite joyful, asking a string of questions.

"Her na is Ji Lingruo, her background is unknown but certainly not simple. As for appearance, it holds no aning for You Su, even less so for a cultivator."

"Tsk, tsk, you’re putting on airs. I bet when the Celestial Immortal Beauty List ca out and you found yourself at the top, you were quite smug."

"I never thought of it that way." The Fairy’s tone remained cold, devoid of any emotion.

Suddenly, the flowing treasure sword began to sway again, but not with the sa regular vibration as before. In the Fairy’s autumn-water eyes, rare hints of panic appeared.

Now her tone no longer kept others at a thousand miles away:

"Chu Jun, what’s wrong?"

After a mont, the rough female voice on the other end of the sword ca again, her speech was rapid, squeezing out word by word from between her teeth, as if explaining her last wishes:

"He Shutong! You must protect my precious disciple until the day I reunite with him, you hear ! You must also keep a good eye on his junior sister! It wasn’t easy for to co out of the sea, I almost lost eight years of work and brought out that thing! I owe You Su a lot, but what I’m doing now is extraordinarily important! Don’t let down!"

The sword’s irregular shaking intensified, the Fairy gripped the hilt hard trying to control the sword that had been with her for a century, but it was all in vain.

"Hey! Co here to your grandma! Evil spirits aren’t worthy of touching the ground, die for ..."

The word "die" hadn’t yet pushed all the montum to the peak when it rapidly deflated like a leaky balloon, until the sound was inaudible. The sword in her hand also cald down at the sa ti, reflecting the moonlight quietly.

The Fairy gently lowered her head, muttering softly to herself:

"You must co back alive too..."

Then she sheathed her sword, lightly tapped her toes to rise and fall between the trees, disappearing into the silent night.

Actually, there was one thing she did not speak of.

On the night of You Su’s decisive battle with the Evil Cultivator, she sensed another eerie power observing the fight, faintly feeling that there was a larger conspiracy behind the suddenly appearing Evil Cultivator, and she had to follow up to investigate clearly.

Unfortunately, upon reaching this place, the trail was lost, and at that very mont, news ca through the Exorcism Order of the appearance of a Dream-eating Ghost, a powerful evil spirit that even she at her peak could not face alone.

These two things seed largely unrelated, but at her level of cultivation, she had a vague sense of destiny. Through the night shrouded in black fog, she seed to see a massive dark cloud silently forming over Chuyun City.

She couldn’t tell this to Guan Chujun either, it would only add to his worries. In such a perilous situation, better than her disciple’s life plate, Guan Chujun should be more concerned with his own life.

...

You Su stood upright, marveling at the recovery power of this body. Now, aside from a pervasive dull pain, he had regained quite a bit of strength.

He pretended to see the girl sleeping peacefully without a care, shook his head sowhat helplessly. Clearly exhausted, yet forcing herself to take care of her senior brother.

You Su gently lifted Ji Lingruo from the crook of his knee, and since it was inconvenient to enter his junior sister’s room, he intended to place her on his own bed.

The sensation upon touch felt as if his junior sister was boneless, soft, warm jade filling his embrace. She slept soundly, even nestling against You Su’s arm in a delighted manner, asleep she was more delicate and charming than during the day, like a soft, slender little snake.

You Su didn’t linger on the wonderful feeling on his arm, tucking the quilt around his junior sister. The thin blanket clinging closely, outlining the enchanting curves of the young girl.

You Su was not an absolute gentleman, but the thought of the pain his junior sister was enduring caused a deep hidden ache in his heart, dispelling any romantic thoughts. After patting his junior sister’s head, he left the room, silently cheering for the resilient girl.

It wasn’t just his junior sister who needed to press on, You Su himself had to as well. Since sleep had eluded him, he had to seize every mont to get stronger. Wasting any ti was a luxury for him.

And in his room, if a light was lit, one would see the girl’s face, shy red like a flower petal.

She felt her senior brother had already entered the courtyard, then quietly turned over, burying her head in You Su’s pillow, like a little beast endlessly demanding, greedily inhaling the scent belonging to her senior brother.

Only her exposed ear root beca increasingly vivid red.

...

You Su sat cross-legged on the stone chair, feeling increasingly fortunate for obtaining the Qiankun Bag, such a treasure.

If he had only gotten those tos, as a blind man he wouldn’t even have a thod for self-study. His only option might be to keep tricking his junior sister, asking her to read them to him. But these things clearly belonged to high-grade sect Spirit Treasure Sect items, not sothing folks from this small remote town could offer as a gamble.

No matter how dull his junior sister might be, she should notice sothing, which would be contrary to what his junior sister had warned him about in his dreams.

But with the Qiankun Bag, everything was different. He could read these books directly in his Sea of Consciousness, as if reading them personally.

In the stillness of the night, You Su closed his eyes, his delicate yet stern face hidden in darkness.

What interested him most was naturally the mystical skills Mr. Ling could perform with a wave of his hand, thus the first book he opened was "Five Elents Magic Selection."

Within, it not only recorded many basic skills but also provided so explanation of the skills themselves:

The Heavenly Dao of this world is composed of countless different authorities, they work together to form the rules that run this world.

Skill, is the power displayed by borrowing authority from the Heavenly Dao.

Most skills, when used, require chanting incantations of varying lengths and nonsensical aning, essentially to resonate with the Heavenly Dao, thus gaining partial control over the corresponding rules.

Though the book’s content was basic it was rich, and sothing completely unheard of by You Su, he couldn’t help but revel in the reading, practicing with his fingers while embarking on his own path of skill cultivation.
