Night had fallen.
Three figures walked slowly along the silent streets of Magnolia.
"Is this really okay, Levy?" Jet asked, looking worried. "Ron said that the guy who destroyed the guild might still be in the neighborhood."
Droy, on the other side, also chid in to persuade her.
"Yeah, why don't you just go stay in the girls' dormitory?"
"It's fine, it's fine!"
Levy turned around, tilted her head, and looked at her two companions with a smile.
"We're a team, aren't we?"
"Levy!!" (x2)
"The three of us are safer together..."
Jet and Droy were instantly captivated by Levy's smile and vowed earnestly.
"We will definitely protect Levy!"
In the shadows of a rooftop, a man looked down at the trio passing below.
His whole body exuded a wild aura; long, spiky black hair hung down to his waist, and his pupils were filled with brutality.
It was none other than the Iron Dragon Slayer Wizard from Phantom Lord, Gajeel Redfox!
Gajeel curled his lip in contempt, revealing a cruel, ferocious grin.
In a flash, he reached their side before the three of them could even react.
Just as his attack descended, a magic circle suddenly lit up in front of Levy, steadily blocking his fist.
Gajeel frowned, and his left hand instantly transford into an iron rod.
The next second.
"You'd better stay away from them, Iron Dragon... Gajeel!"
The voice ca with the breeze, as if whispering right in Gajeel's ear.
"Huh?!"
Gajeel's pupils suddenly constricted.
As a battle-hardened Wizard, he instantly sensed the threat from above.
Almost by instinct, his body turned into a black shadow, and he left the spot without looking back.
"BOOM—!!!"
The mont he left, a dazzling silver lightning bolt tore through the night and struck exactly where he had just been standing.
The hard paved road was left with a smoking crater from the lightning strike.

Gajeel steadied himself, looked at the charred crater, and narrowed his eyes slightly.
If he had been half a second slower, he would have been the one struck by lightning.
He looked up in the direction the voice had co from.
At the top of a nearby street lamp, a slender figure stood with his back to the moonlight, his striking blue-and-gold heterochromatic eyes emitting a captivating light.
Gajeel licked his lips; instead of panic, his face showed an excited and bloodthirsty grin.
"Heh, finally soone worth looking at..."
"Ron Chronos!!"
Ron ignored Gajeel and leaped down directly.
Looking at the shaken Levy, he rembered the rciless attack just now.
'Heh, planning to hit my girl, are you!'
Ron curled his lip and muttered to himself.
'Co to think of it, Levy is only 17, right?'
'Gajeel, you guy are really criminal, actually laying a hand on an underage girl!'
In the original plot, Levy was a supporting character who got quite a bit of screen ti, and of course, what people loved to talk about most was the romantic thread between her and Gajeel.
'Without this fighting to get to know each other scenario, and with a Levy who might have Stockholm syndro, will there still be sparks between her and Gajeel?'

This blow was heavy and powerful, carrying a whistling sound that tore through the air, sweeping fiercely toward Ron and the three people behind him like an unstoppable force.
"Ron! Look out!!"
The sudden attack made the faces of Levy and the others change instantly.
Ron didn't even look back; he reached out and grabbed Levy's shoulder, while the air around his body flowed, forming an invisible wind that carried them away from the spot.
Gajeel's Iron Dragon's Club swept fiercely through the four afterimages and smashed into the stairs nearby.
For a mont, the ground collapsed, the wall crumbled, and debris splattered everywhere.
Discovering that he had no sensation of hitting anything solid, Gajeel frowned, quickly retracted his right leg, and looked to the side.
He saw that the four of them had already landed lightly more than ten ters away.
Ron put the three of them down, and in his heterochromatic eyes, the gentleness he had shown to Levy and the others quickly faded away.
It turned into playfulness and amusent.
"Sorry, sorry, I forgot about you."
