The soaring Erigor, like a kite with its string severed, arced through the air before crashing violently to the ground; his head lolled to the side as he lost consciousness.
With his defeat, the conspiracy was declared extinguished by the group before it even had a chance to be implented.
"Natsu!!!"
Seeing Natsu's victory, Lucy jumped up in excitent and quickly ran over.
Natsu turned around and cockily rubbed his nose with his hand, showing off two canine teeth as he smiled triumphantly.
"Hmph, to think you actually struggled against a guy like that."
Gray let out a small huff and curled his lip, bickering as usual, though his eyes held a hint of admiration.
"Struggled?! What struggle?!"
The happy Natsu imdiately bristled upon hearing that and retorted fiercely, "It was clearly a complete victory! A complete victory!!!"
The two were on the verge of a fight, their faces pressed together instantly as sparks of electricity flashed in their eyes.
Erza stood to the side with her arms crossed, smiling and giving a thumbs up.
"Good job, Natsu!"
Receiving Erza's affirmation, Natsu tilted his head up and imdiately tossed Gray aside.
"Erza, don't forget what you promised before we set out!"
While the others were fooling around, Ron scanned the ssy station.
The ground was pitted and pockmarked, covered in the marks left behind by the battle:
Broken buildings, walls still emitting a cold mist, the ground looking like it had been plowed over, and not far away, the train that hadn't been hijacked but was destroyed in the aftershocks of the battle... The entire station looked as if it had suffered a small-scale disaster, a scene of devastation.
"Hiss... it seems we went a bit overboard again."
Ron rubbed his chin and muttered, "The old man will probably be called to the Council again to receive a lecture..."
'By the way, how are we supposed to get to Clover Town later? This station is completely scrapped...'
He fell into deep thought for a mont.
Shortly after, the sound of dense and rhythmic footsteps echoed from the distance.
Amidst the flying dust, rows of Fiore Kingdom troops wearing standard armor appeared in their line of sight.
These troops were contacted by Ron before the battle; after all, it would take quite a few people to arrest all the mbers of Eisenwald.
The military officer leading them saw the scene before him, his eyelids twitching violently as he subconsciously gripped his weapon tighter.
A completely destroyed station, onlookers trembling behind building wreckage in the distance, and a few guys in the center of the battlefield just finishing a fight and ssing around... This scene looked exactly like evil villains arrogantly celebrating after a destructive activity!!!
When he clearly saw the guild emblems on Ron and the others, his originally tense expression instantly relaxed.
It beca... understanding and resigned!!!
It was Fairy Tail, after all. That guild that made the newspapers every other day for causing destruction everywhere; seeing the scene before him wasn't surprising at all.
Standard procedure, it's all standard procedure!!!
Ron, who had excellent eyesight, took in the change in expression and helplessly pald his forehead.
'Just what kind of reputation has our guild built over the years...'
The leading officer stepped forward to greet Ron and the others. His tone was quite respectful; after all, while Fairy Tail was great at causing trouble, their strength was also undeniable.
"Everyone from Fairy Tail, thank you for your hard work. Leave the rest to us."
Ron quickly completed the handover with them, and all the mbers of Eisenwald were tied up one by one.
As for Erigor, there was no cliff at the station for him to luckily escape from; he was directly gifted a pair of magic-restricting handcuffs and taken away.
With the military handling the aftermath, Ron and the others set off directly for Clover Town.
Because they luckily found an intact Magic Four-Wheeler, Erza still couldn't escape her fate as the driver.
Along the way, everyone fully experienced what was known as the 'Erza-style' driving style.
It was a wondrous experience where an ordinary person would lose their life after just one ride.
Natsu was so motion-sick he lost the will to live, wanting only to get off and escape, yet he lacked the strength to do so;
Lucy gripped Natsu tightly while silently praying in her heart that she would reach the destination alive;
Gray looked calm, as if he was already used to this kind of fast and furious pace.
anwhile, Ron leaned back in the passenger seat, enjoying this rare road trip with a slight smile on his face.
Finally, under Erza's control, the Magic Four-Wheeler relied on its unstoppable montum to speed along, arriving at Clover Town by evening.
When Ron and the others arrived at the eting location, Makarov was waiting alone to the side.
"These girls are all so cute."
"Oh my, Wizards lately are of such high quality in both appearance and substance..."
The short old man was lurking in a corner by himself, constantly flipping through a magazine.
His shoulders kept shaking as he looked, a lecherous smile on his face, occasionally letting out 'hehehe' chuckles.
"Gravure printing is truly... so cool!!!"
"Hey, Gramps!!!"
Natsu's uniquely excited shout gave the magazine-absorbed Makarov a fright.
He turned his head in confusion and saw several figures at the door that couldn't be more familiar, instantly letting out a short cry of surprise.
"Eh... gah!!!"
In his surprise, Makarov quickly hid the magazine behind his back.
Although his movents were fast, Ron still caught a glimpse of the content that flashed by on the magazine—
A young woman with a graceful figure and seductive clothing was striking a provocative and charming pose.
Ron imdiately raised an eyebrow at Makarov, flashing a mischievous smile with a aningful look in his eyes.
This caused the old man's face to turn red, but he quickly adjusted, letting out a light cough to hide his embarrassnt.
"Ahem! Why are you all here?!"
Erza stepped forward and explained what had happened in detail.
Upon hearing about Lullaby, Makarov's expression instantly turned serious, and then he heard about the battle with Eisenwald at the station.
"Um, you guys..." he asked nervously and hesitantly, "didn't cause any bad influence, did you?"
"No, no." Natsu laughed and waved his hand in response.
"Aye! No bad influence at all..."
Erza and Gray glanced at each other and turned their heads, pretending not to hear;
Lucy, on the other hand, lowered her head and twiddled her fingers; the kind girl clearly hadn't learned how to handle such a situation yet.
In the end, it was Ron who stepped up. "Don't worry, Gramps, it's not a big problem..."
The performance of several people caused unease to rise in Makarov's heart. How could I not know what you lot are like?
"It's fine, tell exactly what happened so I can prepare in advance..."
"Small issue, it's just that Natsu... completely scrapped Kunugi Station..."
"What?!!!"
Ron quickly stepped forward to support the old man.
After catching his breath, Makarov finally noticed that Ron said it was the station, and his heart imdiately settled.
It was fine, just a station. That was standard operating procedure for these kids; as long as it wasn't a town... "By the way, Gramps, you should handle this thing."
Ron took the flute out of the extra dinsion and prepared to hand it to Makarov.
At that mont, the three eyes on the skull... they lit up!
The glowing purple light, combined with the black smoke billowing out, instantly gave off an extrely uneasy and evil feeling.
It was as if a long-dormant demon was about to awaken at this very mont!
Watching the changes occurring in the flute, Ron thought to himself, 'Uh-oh.'
"Oh no... have I beco Kagayama?!"
