Ron raised his hand and waved, and a holographic map of Magnolia floated in the center of the group.

The entire city looked like a giant hexagonal chessboard, divided into six distinct regions.

Each was marked with the corresponding team's color to distinguish them.

Starting from the blue-gold region at the bottom where Ron was located, moving clockwise, they were Mirajane's purple, Laxus's gold, Natsu's red, Erza's scarlet, and Mystogan's black.

Directly in front of each region was a wide main road leading straight to the target team's area.

At the sa ti, the main roads were accompanied by several branching paths, providing more options for infiltration.

Besides that.

There were also roads connecting adjacent areas on both sides, which ant that besides facing enemies head-on, one could also be ambushed from the flanks.

And in the very center of Magnolia, the vast area near the Kardia Cathedral...

...was specifically set aside as a common area for free-for-all battles between the teams.

"Hee hee hee... What an interesting setup!"

"Right, baby!"

Bickslow stuck out his long tongue to communicate with his dolls, the five dolls floating in mid-air flying up and down, chattering in agreent with words that couldn't be understood.

Ron scanned his four teammates:

Reedus the painter, Jet who excelled in speed, Warren who possessed telepathy magic, and Bickslow, one of the Thunder God Tribe.

Aside from Bickslow, whose combat power wasn't low, the others were basically just background characters of the guild.

But although their strength wasn't high, their utility was maxed out.

"Alright, ti is tight, now let's set the tactics."

Ron waved his hand, and the holographic map vanished instantly.

"Listen up, our core tactic is only four words—"

"—False and real, true and fake, seemingly so but not, ever-changing and unpredictable!"

"..."

Bickslow and the other three: Can't you be serious when planning tactics!!

Ron cast his gaze toward the round-bodied Reedus.

"Reedus, draw more flags, and then Jet, you're responsible for planting them all over the area. Put them everywhere, whether it's conspicuous or hidden."

The magic Reedus used was Drawing Magic; the things she drew possessed the physical properties of the corresponding objects, which was just right for this situation.

A slightly sneaky smile appeared on Ron's face.

"When the ti cos, if anyone breaks in, I want them to throw up the mont they see a flag."

"Received!"

"No problem!"

Reedus and Jet replied simultaneously.

"What about us?"

Bickslow and Warren asked.

"You guys?"

Ron started to think seriously, then suddenly frowned, his expression looking troubled.

Seeing this, the two felt extrely nervous: Wait, are we really that hard to arrange?!

"How about..."

Ron looked at Bickslow and the others, speaking tentatively.

"After placing the flags... you guys just act as you please?"

"Huh?"

Bickslow and Warren widened their eyes, looking at Ron in disbelief.

"No way!!"

Bickslow imdiately retorted.

He was a mber of the Thunder God Tribe; how could he slack off and just lie there waiting for a win? Absolutely impossible.

Thinking this way.

He imdiately stood up, spread his five fingers, and then clenched them into a fist, his expression resolute.

"I want to fight five!!!"

The dolls circled around Bickslow, chattering and cheering.

"Fight five, fight five, fight five!!"

"That works too..."

Ron nodded indifferently, his tone languid.

"It's settled then, Natsu and the others are all left to you, Bickslow!"

After all, it was a teammate's dream, and as a captain, one always had to protect it.

Reedus, Jet, and Warren looked back and forth between Ron and Bickslow with strange expressions.

Finally, their eyes t, and they began to communicate in their minds.

"Is such a casual tactic really okay?"

"And planning to take on two Dragon Slayer Wizards by himself, plus Levy, Bisca, and Alzack?"

"This is simply impossible, right? Bickslow will be beaten to death..."

"..."

"Leave it to , Ron."

Bickslow, however, looked excited, his long tongue stretching out even further.

"I will definitely beat them to a pulp and let them see the power of the Thunder God Tribe!"

"Right, baby!!"

"Beat them to a pulp, beat them to a pulp..."

"Alright, that's decided. Reedus, get to work."

Ron clapped his hands and began to urge Reedus.

Then, as if rembering sothing, he added.

"When the ti cos, if you guys feel bored too, just go ss with the other teams!"

"Eh?"

The group looked at Ron in surprise and said in unison.

"We can do that? Isn't that other teams' battle?"

Ron: "..."

He held his forehead, looking like he had been defeated.

No, are you guys really from Fairy Tail?

In this kind of free-for-all, treating all other teams as opponents isn't that standard procedure?

Otherwise, why put all teams on the sa map for a free-for-all? Could it be to save ti?

"What 'other teams' battle'?"

Ron glared at them in annoyance, then waved his hand.

"Follow the plan."

"You need to know that individual performance in the preliminary round is very important. Don't let our team win while you yourselves get eliminated."

"That would be too much of a pity!"

'That's right, there's also individual performance points!!'

The group suddenly realized and instantly beca full of drive.

Soon.

Reedus's brush flew, and flags that were realistic enough to be mistaken for the real thing were drawn.

Everyone carried a large bundle of flags, quickly scattered, and began planting flags crazily all over the place.

As for Ron.

After looking around, he randomly chose an inconspicuous corner and planted the real flag.

"The safest place is a place that doesn't exist at all."

The next second.

The flag slowly rged into the ground, sinking into the shadows.

Looking at the completely vanished flag and the plain, unremarkable corner.

Ron clapped his hands and smiled sneakily.

"As long as it's within the designated area, it's fine. The rules didn't say you couldn't bury it in the shadows."

"Alright, you guys take your ti searching."

...

Judge's area.

Makarov watched Ron's tactical arrangent and actions, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly.

Beside him, Ur covered her mouth and chuckled lightly.

Happy sat in the judge's seat, dangling his little legs, looking gleeful at others' misfortune.

"Natsu is so pitiful, he's going to be taken advantage of by Ron again."

...

On this side.

Having finished the setup, Ron walked unhurriedly toward the central area.

Preparing to find a place to comfortably watch the show.

But he hadn't walked long before he saw Bickslow flying backward toward him.

'Damn, and this guy said he wanted to fight five?'

Ron raised his hand to catch Bickslow.

Then he looked at the two familiar figures opposite, which were indeed Natsu and Gajeel.

'Huh? Only two people?'

Ron raised an eyebrow slightly.

'Did they leave soone to guard the base, or did the others split up to prepare for a sneak attack on our base?'

Thinking of his own setup, Ron hesitated for 0.5 seconds.

Then he grinned, excitent flashing in his eyes.

His figure flashed as he took the initiative to et them.

"Whatever, just charge in!"

"Fight first, think later!!"
