They found themselves in a forest, but thankfully one that showed signs of human life.
Carla had warned them to avoid detection by the kingdom, so after disguising themselves, they searched.
Natsu and the others luckily found the Fairy Tail guild.
But what they found completely overturned Natsu’s understanding.
The Fairy Tail mbers looked exactly like their counterparts from their world, but their personalities were completely different.
Initially, they assud the ’Soul’ magic was responsible for this transformation.
However, the appearance of a certain figure instantly shattered that theory.
"Lisanna..." Natsu stared, dumbfounded, at the figure before him.
Countless mories flooded his mind, childhood mories of the girl.
"No way..." Happy’s eyes welled up, tears gathering at the rims.
As Natsu and Happy were about to rush towards her, Carla intervened, stopping them.
The stark differences in their surroundings made Carla realize that these people weren’t their companions at all, but rather...
Fairy Tail from Edolas!
Though disheartened by this revelation, Natsu, Happy, and Wendy could only accept the truth.
Their actions, however, imdiately aroused the suspicion of the Edolas Fairy Tail mbers.
"Just who are you people? What do you an by ’that world’?" Edolas Lucy demanded.
Just as the group was about to offer an explanation, the guild doors were flung open violently.
A figure rushed in, shouting frantically, "It’s no good! The Fairy Hunters are here!"
"!!!" The color drained from the faces of everyone in the guild.
"Damn it, we’ve been discovered!"
"Those people from the kingdom are after us again!"
"Things just got a whole lot more complicated!"
Panic and chaos ensued within the guild.
"Isn’t the Teleport Magic ready yet, Levy?!" Lucy yelled, turning to Levy, who was seated at the control panel.
"Can’t you see I’m working on it right now?! Stupid Lucy!" Levy retorted without looking up from her work.
As Levy continued her frantic manipulations, the entire guild began to tremble violently, the surrounding stones floating in the air as magical energy surged around them.
"Fairy Hunters?!" Natsu’s expression hardened, his voice a low murmur.
"It’s the kingdom’s forces," soone explained.
"Why is the kingdom hunting Fairy Tail?" Wendy asked, her face etched with confusion.
"Do you really need to ask?" A figure with the sa blue hair and facial features as Wendy, but with a noticeably different physique, spoke up.
Wendy’s gaze fell upon the figure, and she instantly understood. This was her counterpart from Edolas.
Edolas Wendy continued, "Under the king’s orders, all mage guilds have been abolished. Only one guild remains in this world."
"And that’s us, Fairy Tail!"
"In other words... we’re the dark guild..." Edolas Wendy stated, her voice heavy with the weight of this revelation.
Earthland Wendy’s eyes widened in shock.
"Alright, the charge is complete," Levy announced from the control panel, her voice sharp and decisive as she slamd her foot down on the pedal beneath her feet.
"Teleport Magic Formation, activate!"
With Levy’s command, the entire guild erupted in a blinding flash of light.
Those within the guild felt a sudden sensation of weightlessness as they were lifted from the ground, floating freely in the air.
"Everyone, grab hold of sothing!" Lucy shouted, her voice echoing through the guildhall.
The tremors intensified, and from outside, a monstrous beast could be heard rapidly approaching. Crimson hair, belonging to the rider atop the beast, stread wildly in the wind.
BOOM—
At the very last mont, the massive Fairy Tail treehouse dissolved into a brilliant white light, sinking into the ground and vanishing without a trace. A gaping crater remained in its place.
The monstrous beast crashed down near the crater, creating a deafening roar.
The sound gradually faded, and a profound silence descended upon the area, restoring a semblance of calm to the ravaged landscape.
"We’ve been teleported," a voice stated from atop the beast. The speaker stood with a spear in hand, their crimson hair swirling in the wind. Their gaze was fixed on the crater below.
"Hmm~ Teleport Magic, huh? So this dark guild actually used such a high-level spell that requires a massive amount of magical energy," a gentlemanly voice remarked from sowhere below, followed by the sound of approaching footsteps. The voice belonged to a figure clad in pink armor.
"This is rather troubleso, Captain Erza," the pink-armored man said, directing his words towards the figure atop the beast.
The figure atop the beast tightened her grip on her spear and turned around, her crimson hair flowing like a fiery banner. If Natsu were present, he would have undoubtedly let out a cry of astonishnt.
For the figure possessed a face identical to Erza’s; she was Edolas Erza.
Erza Knightwalker. Captain of Edolas’s Second Mage Team.
"Coco, you’ve co as well," Edolas Erza remarked, a hint of surprise coloring her voice at the man’s arrival.
Coco offered a courteous smile. "I’m rely here to deliver a ssage from above. The massive Anima operation has been successfully completed."
"Therefore, orders have been issued from above for all Mage Team Captains to return to the royal capital imdiately!"
"Was the plan successful?" Edolas Erza asked, her gaze drifting towards the direction of the royal capital.
"With this, Edolas’s magical energy reserves should be secure for the foreseeable future," Coco replied.
...
Finn and Nancy arrived before the colossal treehouse.
The sounds of commotion could be heard emanating from within.
"You brats, we’re all done moving!"
"We’re finally safe! Is everyone alright?"
"Looks like the teleportation was a success!"
Similar exclamations reverberated from within the treehouse.
"What’s going on? A treehouse that just appeared out of nowhere?" Nancy exclaid, her curiosity piqued as she gazed at the enormous treehouse.
Finn shook his head. "I have no idea. Let’s just go inside and find out."
With that, he pushed open the door, revealing the interior of the treehouse.
A chaotic scene unfolded before their eyes. A group of individuals lay sprawled across the floor, seemingly recovering from so sort of upheaval. Many of the faces were instantly recognizable to Finn.
Gray, however, was bundled up in multiple layers of clothing, resembling a large, immobile ball.
Juvia swiftly rose from atop Gray, her expression cold and impassive.
Wakaba and Macao were showering Cana with solicitous attention.
Bickslow and Alzack were locked in a tight embrace, whispering sweet nothings to one another.
"So, this is Edolas’s Fairy Tail," Finn murmured to himself, his gaze sweeping across the room. "It seems that many of the personalities here are quite different from their counterparts in our world."
What surprised Finn the most, however, was the sight of Lucy, her face contorted in a furious glare directed at Levy.
"You stupid woman! It’s all your fault for dawdling that we almost didn’t make it!" Lucy shrieked.
Levy was equally unyielding in her response. "Don’t go blaming ! If you think you can do better, why don’t you try operating the teleportation device yourself next ti?!"
The two stood nose-to-nose, their eyes flashing with barely suppressed fury, sparks of magical energy crackling between them.
The scene brought back mories of Erza and Mirajane’s frequent clashes.
Suddenly, the mbers of Edolas’s Fairy Tail seed to sense the opening of the door, their gazes turning towards the entrance where Finn and Nancy stood.
"Finn!!" A chorus of voices erupted.
Following the source of the excited shouts, Finn’s eyes landed on Natsu and Wendy, their faces alight with joy and relief.
Despite their efforts to disguise themselves, the familiar feeling, coupled with the presence of Happy and Carla standing beside them, left no doubt in Finn’s mind that these were indeed his companions from Earthland.
A wide smile spread across Finn’s face as he finally reunited with Natsu and Wendy.
According to Mistogan’s explanation, the key to freeing the guild mbers who had been transford into magic crystals lay in the power of Dragon Slayer Magic.
Finn had been grappling with the daunting task of locating Natsu and the others, but fate had clearly smiled upon him, bringing them together in this unexpected encounter.
"Hold on a second, you guys," Carla interjected, her voice cutting through the excited reunion. "What if this Finn isn’t from our world?"
She then turned her gaze towards Nancy, who stood beside Finn. "Besides, our Finn doesn’t have a Exceed with him."
At Carla’s words, all eyes turned towards Nancy.
A heavy silence descended upon the room.
While Natsu and the others were visibly disappointed, the mbers of Edolas’s Fairy Tail were struck by a wave of astonishnt.
"Could this be another Exceed?" one of them whispered, their eyes wide with disbelief.
