"So fast!" st exclaid, barely having ti to react before attempting to activate his own abilities. However, Erza’s short sword had already made contact with his skin.
An imdiate, sharp pain shot through him, and before he could even register the sensation, Erza had already reappeared behind him.
st’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the shallow cut on his chest. While the wound wasn’t deep, it was enough to render him completely incapacitated. It was clear that Erza had deliberately restrained her attack. Had she unleashed her full power, st would undoubtedly be a corpse.
"So, this is the true strength of a Fairy Tail S-Class mage..." st thought to himself, his mind reeling from the sheer power he had just encountered.
With that thought, st collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious.
"Impressive speed, but physically weak. That won’t get you anywhere in the S-Class trials," Erza comnted dismissively, her voice light and devoid of any emotion.
Erza turned her attention to Wendy, who stood silently observing the scene.
"It’s just you left, Wendy."
"?!" Wendy’s eyes widened as she t Erza’s emotionless gaze. Instinctively, she took a couple of steps backward, but she could retreat no further, her back already pressed firmly against the cold, damp stone wall.
A golden light enveloped Erza’s body, and she reverted to her usual appearance. She then began to approach Wendy, taking slow, deliberate steps.
"Dealing with you..." Erza murmured to herself, seemingly contemplating her strategy.
The weight of Erza’s presence pressed down heavily on Wendy’s small fra, each step Erza took feeling like an eternity.
"Ah, I’ve got it!" Erza suddenly exclaid, a mischievous glint appearing in her eyes as a wicked smile stretched across her lips.
"Ugh...!!" The sight of Erza’s mischievous grin only intensified Wendy’s fear, causing her to press her hands tightly against the wall, her small body trembling uncontrollably.
Erza slowly extended her hand, and with a flash of light, a jar of pickled plums materialized in her hand, conjured from her Requip storage space.
After all, a small treat to alleviate the fatigue of a long day’s work was hardly excessive, she reasoned.
Upon seeing the contents of Erza’s hand, Wendy’s mouth clamped shut, her pupils dilating in terror, her face contorted in a look of sheer horror. Pickled plums—the one thing Wendy feared above all else.
"Er... Erza... please, no!" Wendy pleaded, shaking her head desperately, her voice laced with panic.
However, Erza showed no rcy, gently selecting a single pickled plum from the jar.
"Co now, Wendy," Erza cooed softly, her voice deceptively gentle, "be a good girl and eat this."
Tears welled up in Wendy’s eyes, her body trembling violently.
"AAAAAH!!!"
Wendy’s bloodcurdling scream echoed across Tenrou Island, a sound that was guaranteed to bring tears to the eyes and break the heart of anyone who heard it.
"Hm?" From within passage ’D’, Finn looked around in surprise, his expression one of mild curiosity.
"That scream... it sounded like Wendy," Nancy remarked, her voice laced with a hint of concern.
"Wendy? She’s here too?" Finn questioned, a look of mild surprise evident on his face.
Nancy’s eyes widened in alarm. "You didn’t know?" she exclaid, her voice laced with disbelief.
Finn shook his head. "I wasn’t paying attention to that detail," he admitted, his voice laced with a hint of nonchalance.
Nancy sighed, her hand instinctively rising to rub her forehead in exasperation. "Honestly, you should really try to show a little more concern for all the participants in these trials," she chided gently.
"Wendy is participating in the trials as st’s partner," Nancy explained, her voice laced with a hint of exasperation.
Upon hearing Nancy’s explanation, Finn nodded in understanding.
"In that case," Finn mused, his voice laced with a hint of curiosity, "it seems Wendy and st have encountered a rather formidable opponent."
Finn shook his head, his expression one of thoughtful contemplation.
"I doubt even that could compare to the plight of these two before you..." Nancy comnted, a bead of sweat trickling down her forehead as she gestured towards Juvia and Lisanna with a small paw.
At that mont, both Juvia and Lisanna were struggling to catch their breath, their bodies covered in nurous wounds.
"Miss Lisanna, are you alright?" Juvia inquired, her voice laced with concern as she turned to address Lisanna.
Lisanna nodded slowly, her expression one of determination.
"Finn held back, so I’m still capable of continuing the fight," Lisanna stated, her voice laced with a hint of resilience.
"However..." Lisanna’s gaze shifted towards Finn, her eyes widening in a mixture of shock and disbelief.
"Even now, Finn-san hasn’t moved a single step!" Lisanna exclaid, her voice filled with astonishnt.
Indeed, from the mont the battle had comnced, Finn had remained completely stationary, effortlessly countering the combined attacks of Juvia and Lisanna.
"What is it, Juvia? With such a lackluster performance, you certainly won’t be achieving S-Class status," Finn remarked, his voice devoid of any emotion as he observed the two won standing motionless before him.
"Damn it, it’s impossible to even lay a hand on him!" Juvia gritted her teeth, struggling to regain her composure as she slowly rose to her feet.
The figure standing before them lood like an insurmountable mountain, effectively blocking their path forward. Unless they could provide Finn with a compelling reason to yield, he would not budge an inch.
"Let’s give it our all, Miss Lisanna!" Juvia whispered urgently, her gaze fixed intently upon Finn, her voice laced with a mixture of determination and apprehension.
Lisanna nodded silently in agreent.
"I’ll create an opening for you," Lisanna whispered back, their voices barely audible above the silence of the passage.
The two won engaged in a hushed conversation, taking great care to ensure that their tactical plan remained unheard by Finn.
Finn, however, showed no interest in eavesdropping on their strategy. After all, the purpose of a team battle was to test the participants’ ability to coordinate their efforts effectively and adapt to changing circumstances on the battlefield. As the examiner, Finn’s role was simply to evaluate the overall outco of their performance.
With their battle plan finalized, the two won exchanged a brief glance, confirming their mutual understanding.
"Finn-san, prepare for my Full Body Take Over!" Lisanna shouted, her voice echoing through the passage as she deliberately drew Finn’s attention.
While Lisanna’s attention was focused on drawing Finn’s attention, Juvia stealthily retreated into the shadows, transforming her body into a torrent of water that flowed seamlessly along the crevices of the tunnel wall.
The radiant pixel blocks once again enveloped Lisanna’s body, and her form began to undergo a dramatic transformation, her size steadily increasing.
Finn couldn’t help but nod in approval as he observed Lisanna’s transformation. It was clear that Lisanna had not wasted these past two years, honing her magical abilities to a remarkable degree; she was now capable of maintaining her Full Body Take Over transformation without interruption.

The radiant glow of the pixel blocks finally subsided, and standing before Finn was a colossal purple rabbit.
"Lisanna, you’ve made remarkable progress over these past few years," Finn remarked, his voice laced with a hint of genuine admiration. "However..."
Observing the giant rabbit charging towards him with trendous leaping power, Finn calmly extended a single hand, gently placing it upon Lisanna’s head to halt her advance.
The imnse force generated by the rabbit’s powerful leap impacted Finn’s body, yet it failed to cause even the slightest amount of movent.
"However, there’s still a significant distance to cover before you reach the next level, Lisanna," Finn stated, his voice calm and unwavering.
Lisanna, unsurprisingly, showed no signs of disappointnt at being effortlessly stopped by Finn. Instead, a subtle smile played upon her lips.
"Take Over! Giant Bear!" Lisanna shouted, completing her transformation in an instant.
A colossal, multicolored bear erged, its size and appearance so unusual that Finn couldn’t imdiately identify the species. It was clearly not a creature native to Earth Land, likely originating from the alternate world of Edolas.
The bear’s imnse stature dwarfed even the giant rabbit, and had it been any larger, it would have exceeded the confines of the narrow tunnel.
With a mighty roar, the giant bear raised its massive paw high above its head, bringing it down with trendous force.
BOOM!
A deafening roar echoed through the passage as the giant bear’s paw struck the ground.
Finn braced himself, his hands firmly planted against the bear’s descending paw. His feet sank deep into the earth, causing cracks to spiderweb across the ground.
"Your ability to perform instant Take Overs is truly impressive," Finn remarked, shaking his head slightly in acknowledgnt of Lisanna’s remarkable progress.
"However," Finn continued, his voice laced with a hint of seriousness, "the most significant error you’ve made is attempting to test your strength against mine."
With those words, Finn exerted even greater force, his hands pressing down forcefully upon the bear’s paw.
