"Incredible...he actually defeated everyone there with a single blow?" Even though Phantom Lord had many mbers and branches elsewhere, this was a devastating blow.
"Is this guy a monster?" Gajeel no longer felt confident he could win against Finn.
Before Gajeel could stand, he was enveloped in shadow.
"You’re the one who destroyed our guild, right?" Finn grabbed Gajeel by the throat, lifting him slowly.
Suffocation instantly overca Gajeel.
Gajeel’s right hand glowed, transforming into an iron pillar that shot towards Finn’s abdon.
Finn imdiately released Gajeel’s neck, grabbing the extending iron pillar instead. Gajeel gasped for breath, relieved, but the burning sensation on his right hand was alarming.
"So hot!!"
Where Finn gripped the iron pillar, it was red-hot, close to lting.
Finn twisted and flung Gajeel, sending him crashing into a wall. The impact cracked the already scorched wall.
Finn didn’t let go. He slamd Gajeel to the ground, lifted him again, and kicked him hard in the stomach.
The force bent Gajeel’s body; Finn’s kick sent his stomach churning, and he vomited.
"Is...that really Gajeel?" The conscious Phantom Lord mbers watched in disbelief.
"Is that guy a monster? Even Gajeel isn’t a match?"
"Why did we provoke such an opponent?"
Gajeel flew like a cannonball, crashing into a wall, creating a cloud of dust.
"Is Gajeel...done for?" The Phantom Lord mbers looked towards the smoke, disbelieving.
"Clack, clack~~" A sound like chewing echoed from the smoke.
"Iron Dragon’s Secret Art: Karma Demon: Iron God Sword!" A dark green magic circle appeared in the smoke, and countless iron shards shot out.
Finn raised Ryūjin Jakka; crackling flas erupted from the blade.
With a powerful swing, a massive wave of fire engulfed the iron shards, completely blocking them.
The smoke cleared, revealing Gajeel, his clothes torn, chewing on iron, making ’clack clack’ sounds.
"Like Natsu, he can eat his elent to recover?" Finn murmured.
"You’re strong, but I’m not a pushover," Gajeel said, a dark green magic circle appearing beneath his feet, engulfing him in dark green light.
Gajeel’s body was covered in iron dragon scales, turning tallic.
"In this state, my attack and defense are vastly improved. Your martial arts are useless," Gajeel growled.
He’d been beaten badly.
This was unacceptable to Gajeel.
"Trash. No matter how you change, you’re still trash," Finn said, shaking his head indifferently.
"Heh~, try then," Gajeel grinned, charging.
His iron-scaled fist flew towards Finn’s face.
Bang~ Gajeel’s eyes widened. Finn caught his fist with one hand.
"Is that all you’ve got?" Finn sneered, punching Gajeel hard in the face. Iron scales cracked. He flung Gajeel away, muttering towards his direction:
"O Sovereign of the Void! Mask of Flesh, Myriad Phenona, Take Flight, Things Nad Human! Truth and Temperance, Wall of Unknowing Sinful Dreams, Standing Alone Upon It! Hadō #33, Sōkatsui!!"
A torrent of flas engulfed Gajeel. Then...
A earth-shattering explosion echoed.
"Waaaaaaaah!!!"
"Help!!!" Most of the Phantom Lord mbers were caught in the blast.
Their screams filled the night sky.
This was Finn’s first full Hadō incantation. The power was imnse.
The explosion destroyed the wall; Gajeel was blown away, struggling to stand.
Finn walked out, stepping on Gajeel’s back. "This is Phantom Lord’s strongest?"
"Damn it!!" Gajeel struggled to stand and fight.
But Finn’s foot felt like a thousand pounds.
"You dared attack Fairy Tail? Huh?" Finn lifted Gajeel, punching him hard in the face.
Boom! Gajeel slamd to the ground.
This was countless tis he’d been slamd to the ground. Gajeel felt nothing but sha.
"This is for the guild."
Finn stomped on Gajeel three tis. Each thud echoed through Phantom Lord. Those who’d been shouting about Fairy Tail were silent.
"We have the Four Elents, right? They can’t just watch Gajeel-sama get beaten," a Phantom Lord mber whispered.
"The Master gave them other tasks," another whispered.
"If you want to save Gajeel, go. I’m not going. Who dares?"
The first mber shook his head. "No way! Whoever goes dies! Gajeel’s a Dragon Slayer; he can take it. We’d be instantly killed."
The other nodded. "Besides, he’s not attacking us. Gajeel did everything to Fairy Tail. If that monster’s still angry, I’ll deny everything."
"Right, right..."
After three more thuds, Gajeel lay defeated in a crater, unable to stand.
"These three kicks are for those Fairy Tail mbers you hurt," Finn said viciously.
"Where’s your Master?" Finn bent down, lifting Gajeel.
Gajeel was bruised and battered, his iron scales gone, replaced by wounds.
"Cough..." Blood trickled from his mouth. Gajeel shook his head.
Finn knew he wouldn’t get an answer. He threw Gajeel down, drawing Ryūjin Jakka. "You destroyed my guild. As a return gift, I’ll destroy yours."
A round of applause caught Finn’s attention. Jose stood there, clapping. "The Sun God! Such power, so young! Fairy Tail’s future is...limited.
Join Phantom Lord! We’re the strongest guild, perfect for the strongest mage. What do you say?" Jose smiled, looking at Finn.
"Pfft haha, strongest guild? Jose, you’re full of yourself! Why? Because of this scrap tal?" Finn pointed at Gajeel in the crater.
Jose wasn’t annoyed. "Then there’s nothing I can do."
Finn pointed Ryūjin Jakka at Jose. "I was wondering where to find you. You dared co to , huh?" Finn was about to attack when he noticed sothing.
"You’re a thought projection? A Ten Wizard Saint, only daring to face , an unknown, as a projection?"
Jose waved his hands. "You’re not unknown! No one underestimates your strength. I’m not here to fight, but to protect Phantom Lord’s rights."
Finn frowned. "What do you an?"
Jose gestured behind Finn.
Finn turned to see a large group of Council mbers surrounding him.
Jose said, "This is the Council’s apprehension squad. I’m protecting Phantom Lord’s rights. You attacked my guild; I had to ask the Council for help."
Looking at Jose’s shaless face, Finn muttered, "You should be glad you’re not here in person."
"Oh? Heh heh, maybe," Jose smiled unconcernedly.
The apprehension squad captain, Lahar, stepped forward. "Fairy Tail mage Finn. You attacked Phantom Lord."
"I’m here to arrest you under the Council’s orders. Please co with us." Lahar gestured.
Finn laughed. "Your information is unreliable. Phantom Lord attacked us first, and you did nothing. I retaliated, and you’re here so quickly."
Lahar said helplessly, "Finn, we’re still investigating your guild. Without evidence, we can’t arrest you."
"But you have evidence of your actions, so we need to detain you."
"Do you think you can?" Finn looked at Lahar with a smirk.
The Council mbers tensed; magic guns aid at Finn.
Finn’s eyes narrowed.
Lahar waved, signaling his n to lower their guns.
He whispered to Finn, "Cooperate. Co with us. If the investigation shows Phantom Lord started it, you and Fairy Tail are fine."
"But if you resist, it’ll be worse. Do you want your guild disbanded?"
Finn nodded. "Fine, I’ll go. I’ve been wanting to visit that suite."
Lahar breathed a sigh of relief. "Stand down!"
"Yes!" His n lowered their weapons, forming a line, ready to leave.
"This way," Lahar said.
Finn nodded and followed.
Before leaving, Finn turned to Gajeel, who was just getting up. "Little Iron Dragon, if you dare attack Fairy Tail again..."
Finn’s voice turned icy. "I will kill you!!"
