Seeing this, the Fairy Tail mbers felt a surge of hope, like seeing the dawn of victory.
"Push yourselves! Don’t let those guys interfere with Finn and the others!" Macao yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Yeah!! Let’s do this! We’ll protect the guild!!" The guild mbers roared their determination once more.
"Heh heh heh, since Erza wants to be my opponent, I’d be doing her a disservice if I didn’t fight seriously," Aria chuckled, removing the bandages from his eyes.
He slowly opened his eyes.
His pupils weren’t the usual black, but...red.
As his eyes opened, his pupils dilated, splitting into four segnts.
Happy stared at Aria, saying slowly, "Aria of the Four Elents usually keeps his eyes closed. He uses it to suppress his overwhelming magical power. This is trouble."
"Happy, what are you talking about? I don’t understand," Natsu said, scratching his head, completely confused.
"Mira told . She said we should attack him the mont he opens his eyes," Happy said gravely.
Natsu looked at Erza. "Erza, you okay with this?"
Erza nodded. "Don’t worry."
"Co, Fairy Queen," Aria said, the wind around him growing violent.
"Airspac: Zero, activate!!"
"This Airspace will consu all life," Aria said, his magical power surging. The wind intensified, filled with the scent of death.
Natsu clung to a pillar, while Happy simply held onto Natsu’s scarf, his small form buoyant in the wind.
Erza spread her fingers; a pink magic circle appeared, forming a sword. She pointed it at Aria. "A life-draining magic?" Erza’s voice was on the edge of a roar.
"Why? Why are you so arrogant, so eager to take lives? You bastards!" Erza’s furious words echoed through the wind.
"Enjoy yourselves."
Erza charged, sword in hand.
Aria scoffed at Erza’s courage. "Let’s see if you can withstand this Airspace," he said, unleashing countless invisible air bullets.
Erza swung her sword, shattering the bullets, creating gaps in the wind.
The bullets and the deathly Airspace didn’t stop the Fairy Queen. She fought even harder.
The gaps grew larger; the wind dissipated in so areas.
"What?" Aria seed disbelieving.
His slightly constricted pupils showed that the always-confident man was panicked for the first ti.
Erza reached Aria, radiating golden light.
"Impossible! She cut through the Airspace?"
"Wait..."
The light faded, revealing Erza in Heaven’s Wheel Armor above Aria.
"Heaven’s Wheel: Raging Swords!!" Countless magic swords flew from Erza’s back, piercing Aria.
"Aaah..." Aria scread.
Erza slashed down, appearing behind Aria.
Thud... Aria’s wounded body hit the ground, raising dust.
"She defeated him in one move!!" Happy’s eyes were wide.
"Erza’s terrifying!" Natsu recalled his fear of Erza.
"The Master would never fall to soone like you," Erza turned, her eyes fierce. "Erase him from your accomplishnts."
Outside, the massive Purgatory Shatter magic circle shrunk and vanished.
The magic giant, now powerless, knelt on the sea.
"The...magic circle disappeared."
"What? Did Erza and the others succeed?" Lucy said, watching the dissipating magic circle.
"It stopped! Purgatory Shatter has stopped!" Mirajane exclaid, clenching her fist.
"Yeah!!" With the biggest threat gone, everyone cheered.
"So, the Four Elents, the giant’s power source, are defeated. Only Jose remains."
Feeling the tremors and seeing Purgatory Shatter vanish, Finn looked at Jose. "Old man, your trump cards have all failed."
The control room was wrecked.
"Impossible!!"
"The Four Elents were defeated by those Fairy Tail trash?!" Jose’s temples throbbed with rage.
Finn, however, was smug.
"Don’t get cocky, kid. My underlings are defeated, but I’m not. I’ll kill you all, and let Makarov taste despair," Jose said maniacally.
Magical power surged from Jose, forming wraiths. They howled, radiating death.
"Imagine his despair when he wakes to find his beloved guild and you all dead?"
Finn frowned. Jose was like a madman.
"Heh heh...he’ll be heartbroken," Jose pointed at Finn. The wraiths charged.
"I’ll make him taste despair and sorrow, then kill him."
Finn waved his left hand; a burst of flas incinerated the wraiths.
"Do you think you can?" Finn narrowed his eyes.
He shouted, "Fairy Tail, evacuate Phantom Lord!!"
His magically amplified voice echoed through Phantom Lord, reaching Fairy Tail.
"Huh? That was Finn?" Lucy whipped away ghost soldiers, asking Cana.
"Yeah, that’s Finn. He’s getting serious," Cana smiled.
"It’s been a while since we saw Finn at full power," Macao and Wakaba said, back-to-back.
"Who knows? But this is the final battle," Fairy Tail laughed. His voice was reassuring.
...
Lucy was confused.
"You’ll see soon," Cana said.
Erza sat weakly on the ground, her magic depleted.
"Erza, you okay?" Natsu asked.
Erza leaned against a wall. "I showed you my pathetic state. I still have a long way to go."
"Erza’s already strong," Happy said.
Finn’s voice echoed. Erza smiled. "Let’s go. Our job’s done. It’s Finn and Jose’s battle now."
Elfman found Gray, hearing the call. They exchanged a look; Gray made an ice bridge.
"Escape," Gray said, turning to Juvia. "Leave or you’ll die."
"Huh?" Juvia was pulled away before she could react.
...
"Oh? Buying ti for those trash? Useless. I’ll kill you, then hunt them down one by one," Jose said, grinning.
"No!" Finn shook his head.
"Just avoiding collateral damage."
"Huh? You think you can fight ? I’m a Ten Wizard Saint," Jose scoffed.
"Ten Wizard Saint? So what?" Finn’s magic surged, like flas. The temperature rose.
"You...you have this much magic?" Jose’s face paled.
Jose lowered his head, enduring sothing.
"Erza withstood Jupiter, your Four Elents fell, and now you, Finn, with power rivaling a Ten Wizard Saint." Jose gritted his teeth.
"These powerful mages joined Makarov. Phantom Lord was always the strongest guild, with the most magic, talent, and funds."
Jose’s face darkened.
"Fairy Tail’s power grew rapidly these years—Erza, Laxus, Mystogan, you Finn, even that Fire Dragon’s na is known nationwide."
"Fairy Tail beca one of the two strongest guilds. I hate it! It was a weak, insignificant guild."
"And now the Heartfilia heiress is in your guild. An incredibly wealthy family. How much more will you inflate yourselves?" Jose glared at Finn.
Finn scoffed. "Jealousy caused this war? Pathetic."
"Shut up!" Jose’s dark purple magic clashed with Finn’s, creating a deafening roar.
In the eastern forest, Porlyusica was in her yard, a basket of apples at her feet.
Rembering Makarov, now much better, Porlyusica felt relieved.
