Fairy Tail: Metal and Threads Chapter 328: Inner Turmoil

Earth Land, Ishgar, Kingdom of Fiore, Magnolia.

March, x785.

The next day at around noon, Elicia slowly opened her eyes. And the first thing she saw was Yoruichi, curled up like a cat on the other side of the bed.

'I guess Fonzie already got up for the day.' Elicia thought to herself. 'I wonder what he made for breakfast… or lunch… or whatever.'

With that thought, Elicia slowly sat up before stretching her arms over her head. Naturally, this motion caused the blankets and sheets covering her body to fall, revealing her breasts and toned stomach as a result.

However, at that mont, Elicia realized sothing was wrong.

*Sniff!* *Sniff!* *Sniff!*

"That's weird." Elicia muttered with a slight frown. "I can't sll any food. Did Fonzie leave that long ago?"

With that, Elicia turned her body to climb out of bed. However, when she did, she noticed a note on her night stand.

Realizing that Alfonzo had left it for her before he left, Elicia reached over and picked it up to read it. But when she did, her expression fell. The lethargic expression that is common for people when they just wake up was replaced with one filled with dread.

Imdiately afterwards, Elicia turned back to the bed and practically flung herself at the sleeping Yoruichi.

"Yoruichi, wake up!" Elicia shouted as she violently shook Yoruichi. "We've got a problem! I an, a really big problem.!"

"Ugh… What ti is it?" Yoruichi grumbled sleepily. "Why are you making a fuss so early in the morning? I'm sure we can talk about it later…"

With every word, it was clear that Yoruichi was getting closer to falling back to sleep, despite the fact that Elicia was shaking her.

"No!" Elicia shouted. "Fonzie's gone! And he's really, REALLY, mad!"

Hearing that, Yoruichi's eyes popped open.

"What do you an, what happened?" Yoruichi asked in a much more attentive tone. "He didn't do anything to you, did he?"

"No, of course not." Elicia replied while shaking her head. "But I know he's mad. And I guess I can't really bla him, either. We did take advantage of him while he was drunk last night."

"*Sigh* Why the hell does that guy have to be so principled?" Yoruichi grumbled while running her fingers through her hair in frustration. "Most guys would be thrilled to have so no strings attached fun with a girl like . Even more so if their girlfriend agreed to have a threeso."

"That's not the point right now!" Elicia shouted. "What are we gonna do? More importantly, what are you gonna do, Yoruichi?"

"*Sigh* Honestly, I hadn't given it much thought." Yoruichi replied. "I thought I'd have at least until the negotiations were over to decide."

"Well, you better start thinking about it right now!" Elicia scread as she jumped out of bed. Then, she ran towards the master bathroom as she continued. "I only agreed to your plan because you made it sound like you were really close to joining our family. And I believed your story even more because of the way Sui-Feng was so hostile to us. But if that was all just an act to get in our bed…"

At that point, Elicia stopped. However, to Yoruichi's surprise, Elicia ca back, tears brimming in her eyes before she continued.

"I promise with every fiber of my being that I'll make you pay for it." Elicia said before turning back towards the bathroom. "Because I did the one thing that I know I never should have by trying to help you… And that's betraying Fonzie's trust."

With that, Elicia walked away again and made her way towards the bathroom.

*Bang!*

Yoruichi could not help but flinch when she heard the sound of the bathroom door slamming shut.

"Damn it…" Yoruichi muttered as she laid back on the bed. "This turned into a much bigger ss than I thought it would. I thought he would at least sit us down and talk about it. Now even Lici is mad at , too. *Sigh* I guess I really need to talk to him, huh?"

With that, Yoruichi sat up once again. Then, she swung her legs over the side of the bed. However, when she tried to put the strength needed to stand into her legs, she realized that her legs were not in the mood to listen to her.

"Well, now I can see why he wanted to know if we planned to return today or not." Yoruichi said with a wry smile. "I can barely feel my legs and feet right now."

Then, Yoruichi flopped back on the bed once again. However, this ti, she noticed the note that Alfonzo wrote. And when she read its contents, she could not help but smile wryly while understanding how Elicia knew that Alfonzo was angry.

"There's cereal in the cupboard over the fridge. Help yourselves." Yoruichi read. "Yeah, he's really pissed off, isn't he? *Sigh* I guess I better get up and find him."

anwhile, at the Fairy Tail guild hall, Alfonzo and Ur were sitting in Ur's office with Tsunade and Ritsu while negotiating the price to install half a dozen training rooms with the ability to increase gravity, one each for Tsunade and Ritsu's personal use while the other four would be public for the rest of the guild to use, at the rmaid Heel guild hall.

And while Tsunade and Ritsu did not notice a difference in Alfonzo's attitude, Ur could tell that sothing was wrong. Though, she had no way of knowing exactly what was bothering him.

"Co on, Kid." Tsunade said with a frown. "There's no way you can bring down the price a little more?"

"If you take into account material costs, shipping costs, the cost of travel, and the labor costs, that really is the best I can do." Alfonzo replied while shrugging his shoulders. "Unless you plan on buying the materials and having them shipped to you yourselves, there's nothing I can do about it."

'Yeah right.' Tsunade complained internally. 'I have a few connections to get rare materials, just like any other guild master would have, but I can't get them in these kinds of quantities.'

"Seriously? But aren't you and Yoruichi close?' Tsunade said with a smile. 'Can't we get a friendship discount?"

Hearing that, Alfonzo's expression fell. Then, he stood up from the couch he was sitting on and started walking towards the elevator. Then, he finally replied to Tsunade's question after pressing the elevator's call button.

"Sorry, Master Tsunade." Alfonzo said after the elevator doors opened. Then, he continued without turning back. "I've always made it a point to keep business and my personal life separate. But I can give you so ti to consider. Just co talk to or Master Ur when you've made your decision."

With that, the elevator door closed behind Alfonzo.

anwhile, Ur, Tsunade, and Ritsu could only stare blankly at the elevator doors.

"*Sigh* What did that girl do?" Ritsu asked while shaking her head.

"I'm not sure." Ur replied. "But he seed really pissed off just now."

"That was more than obvious." Tsunade said while crossing her arms under her breasts, making them stand out even more than they already did.

"Damn, what do you have to eat to get a rack like that?" Ur muttered while glancing between Tsunade's chest and her own.

"You'll just have to bla it on genetics." Tsunade replied with a smug smile.

Alfonzo, on the other hand, had just reached the guild hall's first floor. And shortly after he stepped out of the elevator, he was stopped by Sui-Feng.

"Where is Lady Yoruichi?" Sui-Feng asked in an angry tone.

"She should be back at my place with Elicia." Alfonzo replied, not even realizing that he did not use Elicia's nickna.

Although Alfonzo did not realize it, everyone who was close enough to hear him was thoroughly surprised.

"And what did you do to her last night?" Sui-Feng asked even more aggressively.

"You can ask her when you see her." Alfonzo replied in an irritated tone.

"I'm asking you now!" Sui-Feng shouted as she grabbed at Alfonzo's shirt.

*Smack!*

Before she could take hold of Alfonzo's shirt, however, Sui-Feng's hand was slapped away. Then, she found herself with her feet dangling off the floor and a large hand wrapped around her neck. On top of that, the one holding her up, Alfonzo, was glaring at her with both annoyance and anger in his eyes.

"Listen here, Girl." Alfonzo said in a low, threatening tone. "I'm not in the best mood right now. And I really don't have the ti to deal with your bullshit. So, I'd really appreciate it if you left the fuck alone, got it?"

By now, the entire guild had fallen silent as they watched Alfonzo and Sui-Feng with shock in their eyes. Then, when they saw Alfonzo simply toss Sui-Feng to the side after receiving a small nod, they remained silent as they watched him walk through the guild halls sliding doors.

["I don't know why you didn't just slaughter that pest."] A voice filled with pride rang out in Alfonzo's head just as the guild hall's doors closed behind him. ["Who does she think she is to question her betters in such a way."]

Pausing his steps for a mont, Alfonzo shook his head as he started walking again.

"So, you're my [Weapon Spirit], huh?" Alfonzo muttered in disinterest. "And from what I can tell, you're a reflection of my arrogance. Well, as much as I'd love to get to know you, I'm not really in the mood right now."

["Hahahaha!"] The voice laughed boisterously. ["If you think I'm the only one here, then you're sadly mistaken."]

Once again, Alfonzo paused montarily. However, instead of starting to walk again, he used his [Electromagnetism Magic] to fly away after clicking his tongue.

At the sa ti, Alfonzo created a thin layer of Techno Organic tal underneath his clothing that he etched sigils into that would stop his magic power signature from being broadcast. Simultaneously, he controlled the visible light around him to render himself invisible.

A few monts later, Elicia landed where Alfonzo had just been standing. Then, after looking around for a mont, she hung her head in disappointnt.

"Geez, Fonzie…" Elicia muttered with tears running down her face. "At least give the chance to apologize. Then, you can be mad and punish all you want…"

["Hmph! Both of you know how that would end."] Elicia's [Weapon Spirit] said disdainfully. ["If he hears you apologize, then he'd forgive you imdiately."]

Hearing that, Elicia could only lower her head even further, feeling even worse that she was thinking of taking advantage of Alfonzo's feelings for her in this situation.

Though, she would have never realized she was doing so if her [Weapon Spirit] had not pointed it out.

anwhile, Alfonzo had landed on the Fairy Tail guild hall's roof. Then, he wasted no ti sitting down cross-legged and starting to ditate with his tonfa laid across his thighs.

["Oh, so you wanted to co and et us, huh?"] The sa voice Alfonzo heard earlier spoke once again. ["Well, you can co on in, but you may not like what you see right now."]

Ignoring the [Weapon Spirit's] warning, Alfonzo continued to dive into his inner world. Then, after a few monts, he found himself standing atop a large, tal platform. There were also a number of tal platforms floating in the air. And if that were all he saw, there would not be a problem.

But the random bolts of lightning, rays of gamma radiation, beams of UV radiation, and platforms that were superheated to dangerous temperatures with microwaves gave him pause.

"Well, I kind of expected sothing like this." Alfonzo muttered to himself while he looked around. "There's no way my inner world would be calm when my mind is in such a ss."

"Well, I guess having all sorts of ta knowledge from your past life makes all this much easier, doesn't it?" The voice from before said from behind Alfonzo.

Quickly turning to see the source of the voice, Alfonzo found the figures of two males walking towards him.

The first, and the one who spoke, was a tall man with a self-important smile that showed off his sharp teeth, standing around 6'5" tall with brown skin, slicked back violet hair, and matching eyes wearing a white suit with white shoes.

And the second was a comparatively shorter teenager standing at 5'11" with pale white skin, long, silver hair tied into a ssy ponytail, and red eyes wearing a black suit that matched the older man's attire, and an expression that told everyone who could see it that he was ready to destroy everything.

"So, pride and rage, huh?" Alfonzo muttered as he looked at the two [Weapon Spirits] walking towards him. "I should have guessed I'd have two of you when the [Embryo] transford into a pair of tonfa."

"Yeah, that should have been a dead fucking giveaway, Jackass." The teenage boy said in an angry tone. "But more importantly, why did you run away like a little pussy? You should have told them broads exactly how you felt about the shit they pulled."

"He's right, you know." The taller man said. "Although, I would have said it differently."

"Yeah, I know I didn't handle that well." Alfonzo replied, sounding disappointed in himself. "So, I don't' need the lecture, Riot, Bedlam."

At that mont, all three froze with shocked expressions.
