Zeref, the Black Dragon, Marco—none of them were what he had expected!

A dragon's roar sounded out, drowning out Hades' howl of despair.
Then, before Hades' utterly hopeless gaze, a dragon claw ca slamming down toward him.
He could not dodge it.
Even uninjured, even in his pri, he probably would not have been able to dodge it.
BOOM!
The enraged Black Dragon crushed the noisy "ant" beside it with one claw.
It did not even spare a glance for the two ants it had crushed to death beneath itself and beneath its claws.
Instead, it raised its eyes toward the figure hovering in the sky.
Sunlight reflected off that golden armor, dazzlingly bright.
The white cape fluttered behind him, making that figure look imposing in the extre.
"Insect…"
The Black Dragon spoke.
Its voice was not loud, yet everyone heard it clearly.
It was a man's voice. This Black Dragon was obviously male!
"…You can talk?"
Marco paused in surprise, but then imdiately thought it over and realized it was not actually that strange.
After all, Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy had all been raised by dragons, and they could talk just fine.
So dragons being able to speak was hardly unbelievable.
He had simply not thought of it at first because the Black Dragon had only been roaring the whole ti and had not said a word.
However, after uttering that one word—"insect"—the Black Dragon fell silent again.
Whoosh!
The Black Dragon beat its wings and soared into the sky once more.
This ti, it did not charge straight at Marco again.
For so reason, it felt that this guy seed able to read its movents a step ahead of ti, so recklessly launching a direct attack was probably not the best choice.
And that was indeed true.
Marco's future sight had already recovered.
With this ability, the longer the future fragnt he foresaw, the longer the cooldown afterward.
Right now, he was only looking at the Black Dragon's very next move, then responding the mont he saw it.

With Marco's current Saint body, his Cosmo, and the defensive power of the Gold Cloth, his durability was obviously no joke either.
The Black Dragon would not be able to break his defenses easily.
But if he could avoid getting hit, then naturally it was better not to get hit.
Even the Black Dragon, with its outrageously high magic resistance, would have its movents slowed by the sheer force of a high-magic attack.
So even if the Black Dragon could not break Marco's defenses outright, if that thing slamd into him, Marco would still end up thoroughly rattled.
That was why Marco used future sight with extre caution, never allowing himself to expose any weakness.
The pressure this Black Dragon put on him was absolutely unprecedented.
If he had not awakened his Cosmo, Marco felt that in front of the Black Dragon, he would not be much stronger than any other mage.

This Black Dragon was probably the real final boss.

And on the opposite side, the Black Dragon was even more shocked by Marco's.
What kind of existence was the Black Dragon Acnologia?
He was nearly immune to all magic.
Only Dragon Slayer Magic could harm him. If he wished, he could almost casually destroy the world.
And what had he paid to beco that way?
He had used Dragon Slayer Magic to slaughter dragons in a frenzy, bathed in the blood of countless dragons, and in the end transford himself into an unprecedented Black Dragon.
No one could ever replicate the path he had taken.
Yet the Marco before him, still in a human body, was using so bizarre power to fight him on equal footing—and was even forcing him to face him with caution.
Terrifying strength, terrifying speed, strange spatial abilities, and the power to read his movents.
This humanoid creature clearly could not use Dragon Slayer Magic, yet with pure brute force alone he could hurt Acnologia badly enough to make him feel real pain.
He could even injure him.
And that left Acnologia, who knew better than anyone how powerful dragons truly were, so shocked he could scarcely believe it.
'Is there really a human in this world who can fight dragons with nothing but his own power?'
The Black Dragon Acnologia thought to himself.
For soone who had lived through the Age of Dragon Rule, and as the very being who had ended that age, the principle that to fight dragons, one must use Dragon Slayer Magic was practically iron law in Acnologia's heart.
That was the conclusion both humans and dragons had reached after countless attempts back then.
And yet all of it was being shattered in Marco.
WHOOSH!!!
Marco had no idea why the Black Dragon had suddenly fallen into a daze, but he did not let the chance slip away.
In an instant, he switched armor, replacing the Aries Gold Cloth on his body with the Gemini Gold Cloth.
"Another Dinsion!"
Without the slightest hesitation, Marco activated Another Dinsion.
He was going to throw the Black Dragon straight into Another Dinsion—any dinsion at all would do—and let it drift through endless spatial turbulence forever.
However, things did not go nearly as smoothly as Marco had hoped.
First of all, Marco was using a Cosmo that had only just stepped into the Sixth Sense to drive Another Dinsion, and even with the boost of the Gemini Gold Cloth, he still could not bring out the technique's true power.
Second, the Black Dragon Acnologia was simply too large, while the entrance to Another Dinsion, opened by Marco's Cosmo warping space, was far too small.
It could not suck the Black Dragon in all at once, and instead instantly put the dragon on guard, allowing it to dodge away.
"Tch!"
Marco could not help clicking his tongue.
Another Dinsion really did seem better suited for dealing with humanoid targets.
It was not very effective against giant brutes like this.
Then again, it was not even that easy to use against agile humanoid opponents either.
Even a sneak attack could be dodged.
Its weakness of slow deploynt really was fatal in battles between opponents of the sa level.
But against enemies weaker than himself, it was still basically a guaranteed stomp.
Whoosh!
Marco switched armor again in an instant, the Gemini Gold Cloth on his body changing into the Leo Gold Cloth.
"Burn, my Cosmo! Lightning Plasma!"
Taking advantage of the brief mont while the Black Dragon was breaking free from Another Dinsion, Marco attacked again.
And this ti, his approach was far more violent.
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled as Marco's body transford into a streak of golden electricity, driving forward with his fist toward the unprepared Black Dragon.
This strike was far stronger than the one he had used against Hades.
When fighting Hades, Marco had not gone all out at all, mainly because Hades had not put much pressure on him.
But against the Black Dragon, it was completely different.
This ti, Marco had truly found the feeling of burning his Cosmo.
He was not just shouting for effect now.
He was genuinely unleashing his full power!
Whoosh!
Marco threw his punch.
Electric light surged around him, man and fist arriving as one, blasting straight toward the Black Dragon's chest.
