He’s coming.
I woke up with a start, sweating and panting.
It’s been few days since we found out that I was pregnant and also tried dulling the bond between Zain and I.
And I don’t think that work.
I shuffled out of my tent, wrapping the thick blanket around my shoulders.
The camp was quite and cold, everyone was sleeping and even though I desperately needed soone to talk took I cannot afford to disrupt their sleep.
I water towards the back of my tent, a little bit into the woods where the camps lake was, reflecting the almost full moon in its waters.
It looked inviting and maybe a little bath isn’t going to hurt.
I striped, going completely naked before going into the water. It was cold but soothing.
I settled in the water, allowing it to wrap around before i rembered what woke up.
It was a dream.
Zain had gone for , and he was furious. Furious that he thought the kept him from , furious that he burned the whole village down, screams and tears tore through each tents, and I was unable to do anything.
I shivered, if he really was coming for , then I’ll have to et him half way before he does sothing stupid , like killing the only people that has ever brought closer to knowing the truth.
"Don’t do it." A soft voice said fro the shadow.
I spunned around, looking everywhere "who’s there?"
Silence.
"Show yourself, who ever you are." I was naked but I didn’t mind.
After a few bits of silence, a small figure erged from behind the trees.
"I’m sorry if I startled you my lady." She said, bowing her head.
She looks fragile and nothing above fifteen moons.
"What’s your na? And why are out you here by this ti."
"I....um.... Nora."
"Okay Nora, wait there and don’t move." I said as I got out of the water, and hastily put on my clothes.
I walked to her side, hesitant to touch her, as she looked muddy and scared like she was going to bolt any mont.
"Will you tell what you are out into the woods now? And also why your clothes are dirty? Did soone do that to you."
"No" she murmured softly that I could barely hear her. "So tis I walk while I sleep."
"Ooh" I said, realizing what she ant."it’s okay, it happens to the best of us."
"Mama says that I may be cursed." She said again, before raising her head to look at . She had the bluest eyes I had ever seen and grey?
Mismatched eyes.
Well now I see why her mother would think she’s cursed and that’s just stupid.
"I don’t think you are cursed darling, if anything you are just unique." Reached out to touch her shoulders, but she flinched away from .
"It’s okay, it’s okay I’m not going to hurt you I whispered." Still reaching out for her. She finally relaxed again my hands, as I directed her towards the lake.
"Here. Let’s wash you up."
I watched as she took up her clothes and dove into the water, like a fish going back to its habitat.
I sat, on a large stone, watching as she swarm around the water, smiling, carefree.
Will I be able to give my child this kind of life?
Will she get to smile and play just like Nora?
"You know she’s gonna kill you righ?" Nora said, her voice found chilling.
"What?"
"Your baby." she said nudging to my belly
"What do you an by that?" I asked, puzzled and scared.
"She’s a strange creature just like you are, but she is stronger and will kill you."
"Well if she waits a little longer then I can have her before I die."
Nora shrugged, diving back into tte water.
"How did you know it was a girl." I shouted after her.
"It’s always a girl." I replied back.
I nodded, my hand going over my stomach protectively.
"Hey little one, I’m going to protect you." I whispered, rubbing my small barely noticeable bump.
Soon we were walking together back to the camp. The tents scattered atound like little fireflies.
"Which one is yours?" I asked her,
She didn’t reply instead, walked back to a tiny one almost at the end, before stopping to look at then, walking in.
Alone again, I got to my tent, and laid down hoping that Zain isn’t close yet.

Steams woke up the next morning. I shot out of bed and outside, as people gathered around Noras tent.
A wailing woman was holding a lion body against her chest.
"Soone get the healer!" Maleta shouted, crouching down to the woman’s height, whispering to her, as she took the limp Nora from her hands.
I ran.
"What is Going on?" I asked, approaching the crowd.
"Nora is unresponsive." A young boy, beside replied with tears in his eyes.
"What? Why, what happened?!" I was just with her few hours ago, what could possibly had happened.
No one answered. Soon Ilyra ca, hold a small bag. She pressed open Nora’s mouth pouting a liquid in side, but the young she wolf didn’t bat an eyelid.
"Where was she last night? Focus Grace you abeg to answer ." She scolded the woman wh mi was probably Nora’s mother.
"I dingy know..... I don’t know." She just ca in last night and laid down."
llyra nodded, before looking down at the girl, befor shaking her head.
"Sorry. We lost her."
Nora’s mother threw herself on the floor, screaming.
"She was my mate." The boy from earlier whispered beside . "My fated mate." He said as tears stread down his eyes, clutching his ches he fell to the ground.
"What could have happened?" I asked myself over and over again, watching as the camp was thrown into chaos as they gathered yet Garrick was no where to be found.
Where was he? And what killed Nora?.
