Falling for the Omega Idol Chapter 48: CONVINCING CHOI JIYEON (I)

IT was Jung Taeyang.

Jiyeon t the kid when she went to the company building of JH Entertainnt to speak to Lee Jaehyun. She wanted to tell him that she was having second thoughts about whether to accept their offer.

But when she got there, the one she t was Jung Taeyang. The conversation they had was still vivid in her mind.

When Jiyeon was led to the chairman's office, she expected to see Lee Jaehyun or the company's legal representative. It's probably odd to say this, but throughout her dealings with JH Entertainnt, she had mostly communicated with the legal representative and had never t the chairman. If she hadn't known the legal representative personally, she would have thought she was being deceived.

But this particular legal representative was pretty well known in the industry. So, she knew that the offer was legitimate. She just couldn't help but wonder why the chairman hadn't tried to talk to her.

Since she was now here, maybe the illusive Lee Jaehyun would finally grace her with his presence.

The secretary who guided her to the office opened the door, and Jiyeon walked inside. There was soone sitting on the visitor's couch inside the office. And no, she didn't think it was Lee Jaehyun.

The one inside was a young man, handso and well-built, with striking gray eyes that caught her attention imdiately. He wore a neatly pressed school uniform that contrasted with his mature deanor. Despite his composed and confident appearance, the school uniform and a certain youthful freshness in his features made it clear he was still a teenager.

"I think you're too young to be Mr. Lee," Jiyeon said in a joking tone before glancing around the office. "So, where is he?"

"Jaehyun hyung is throwing a tantrum and probably won't be able to et you today," the young man said with an indifferent tone.

Jaehyun hyung? A younger brother, perhaps? Or maybe, a cousin? Well, that's really not the issue right now. According to what the other said, Lee Jaehyun wouldn't be able to et her because he's throwing a tantrum. Hearing that, Jiyeon felt a vein in her forehead ticking.

It's not like she ca here without an appointnt. And yet, he couldn't et her because he's having a tantrum? What kind of nonsense was that?

This was why she didn't want to deal with this type of rich people. So rich individuals worked hard and had the drive to achieve even more. Then, there were those who squandered their privilege, expecting everything to be handed to them without any effort. Lee Jaehyun was obviously the latter.

The other probably just wanted to play in the entertainnt industry, so he decided to make this label. Now, her decision to refuse JH's offer beca even stronger.

"I see. Then, I guess I don't have any reason to be here."

Just as she was about to turn around and leave, the young man suddenly spoke.

"The reason hyung is throwing a tantrum is because he doesn't want to give the position of CEO to you."

Jiyeon turned to look at the young man. "And what do you an by that?"

"Do you want to take a seat first?" the other said instead.

She stared at the young man. But she couldn't get a read on his expression, which was kind of rare for her. Intrigued, she walked forward and sat across from him. "So, what do you an by what you just said?"

"My cousin doesn't know anything about the industry. No matter how much capital he has, money can only take him so far. Sooner or later, he will make a mistake and run this company into the ground. So, I suggested that he hire soone who could run the company for him."

Jiyeon raised a brow. "Aren't you too young to be giving advice to an adult?"

The young man only looked at her indifferently. "Let's just say, Jaehyun hyung trust my opinion. Besides, it's not like age is a clear indication of one's ability"

"True. So, why are you telling this?"

"Because you look like you're planning to decline the offer. And I'm here to convince you to do otherwise."

Jiyeon couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Sorry. I'm just wondering how you will be able to do that."

"By showing you my talent."

And that he did.

After introducing himself as Jung Taeyang, he told her to follow him to one of the company's recording studios. Under normal circumstances, Jiyeon wouldn't let herself be led by soone much younger. But she was intrigued by what he would do, so her curiosity got the better of her.

And allowing her curiosity to rule her that day was probably the best decision she had made in a long while.
