AFTER that turbulent Sunday, Monday arrived, and Haneul had to return to school. Both his mother and father suggested he could stay ho, given he was in the midst of his heat cycle. However, with dical advancents, using the heat cycle as a reason for absence was no longer deed a valid excuse.
Both Ogas and Alphas could now continue their daily activities even during their heat or rut cycles, thanks to the high-quality suppressants available on the market. This advancent likely also explained why Boys Odyssey's production staff confidently allowed all the secondary genders to participate in their survival program.
Despite his parents' concerns, Haneul still decided to go to school. Aside from fainting yesterday, he felt fine. He had no headaches, his body didn't feel weak, and most importantly, he didn't feel the need to procreate.
When Haneul first researched information about Ogas, his biggest fear was experiencing his heat cycle. He was terrified of losing control or feeling an overwhelming urge to mate with any Alpha he encountered. Thankfully, that wasn't the case.
Hurray for modern dicine!
Nevertheless, he consulted a doctor for advice. He explained his situation, ntioning his participation in an idol survival program, where he would be spending the next three months with many Alphas. He asked if there was a way to prevent a recurrence of what had happened the previous day.
The doctor reassured him that there was a high chance the incident wouldn't recur. However, if Haneul was still concerned, he could prescribe a stronger suppressant. He advised Haneul to take it just once a month, three or four days before his scheduled heat cycle.
Haneul asked if the suppressant would have any negative effects on his body. The doctor assured him it was very safe, as long as he didn't abuse it, and adhered to the recomndation of taking it just once a month. Reassured by this, Haneul no longer hesitated and agreed to get the said suppressants.
Now, back to the present.
His mother, still worried, insisted on driving him. Although she taught at the sa school, they rarely commuted together since teachers were required to arrive much earlier than students. However, today, his mother was adamant, and Haneul had no choice but to agree.
Not wanting his mother to be late, Haneul suggested they leave at her usual ti. Besides ensuring his mother was not late, he also wanted to speak with his horoom teacher.
Since the shooting for Boys Odyssey would start in two weeks, Haneul realized he would have to miss school. Sumr vacation would begin in mid-July and end in late August, aning he would miss more than a month of school.
To manage this, he decided to speak with his horoom teacher about his situation. In South Korea, high school students could often handle extended absences by coordinating with their horoom teacher, who would act as a liaison with other teachers and the administration.
If his leave of absence was approved, his horoom teacher would likely provide him with all the necessary study materials and notes he needed to study in advance, as well as the assignnts he had to complete. The volu of work would correspond to the number of days he would be absent.
During the contract signing, Haneul asked the PD if he would be allowed to work on his coursework and submit his assignnts during the first month of shooting. PD Song agreed, but stipulated that it had to be supervised, likely to ensure he didn't access any SNS sites. Haneul found this arrangent acceptable, as long as he could submit his assignnts on ti.
Haneul just hoped that PD Song wouldn't be replaced before Boys Odyssey began. During their brief interaction at the contract signing, he felt that PD Song was an okay guy—certainly much better than the xenophobic PD who headed Boys Odyssey in his original world.
He had co to accept that so things and events in this world could differ from his original world. Instead of questioning it, he decided to accept things as they happened. This was especially true regarding the change in Boys Odyssey's PD. With a different PD, the chances of Robin being unfairly edited just because he's not Korean decreased significantly.
And then, there was Jung Taeyang. Perhaps in this world, his family allowed him to join Boys Odyssey. If that were the case, his chances of debuting were fairly high. Just imagining debuting in the sa group as Jung Taeyang made Haneul's heart race with excitent.
Of course, he was referring to his fan heart and nothing more.
Truly.
"Haneul-ah, let's go."
His mother's call interrupted Haneul's thoughts. He glanced out of the car window and realized they had already arrived at the school. Taking a deep breath, he got out of the car.
