With his new level-ups and perks selected, Six felt an imdiate shift in his abilities. His movents were now near-silent, blending seamlessly into the shadows, while his strikes carried lethal precision.
Implant GRX Lv 2 gave him a powerful edge, allowing him to activate Turbo at will for brief bursts of slowed ti—perfect for quick assassinations or evading enemy fire.
Ninja and Silent Running made him a ghost, while The Professional ensured that every sneak attack with a pistol or SMG hit harder. Piercing Strike ant that even heavily armored foes wouldn’t stand a chance if he got close enough.
Rebecca eyed him curiously.
"You’ve got that look again. What’s running through that crazy head of yours?"
Six smirked.
"Let’s just say I feel a hell of a lot deadlier than I did five minutes ago."
Raul chuckled.
"As if you weren’t already."
Boone gave a small nod of approval.
"Good. ans you won’t slow us down."
Then, Six turned his attention to the real prize—the Pokemon-related abilities. This was ga-changing. Not only could he and his allies now ta, breed, and train creatures like Pokemon, but with moves, types, and ga Evolution in play, the entire battlefield was about to change.
"Alright."
Six said, looking around at his crew.
"Let’s get the final bounty and leave. I’ve got so new tricks to test."
Rebecca raised an eyebrow.
"What, you’re gonna go find a wild Deathclaw and throw a Pokeball at it?"
Six grinned.
"Sothing like that."
The idea wasn’t as crazy as it sounded. If the Monster-Taming ability worked like the gas, he could capture anything, even Deathclaws. And if he could apply Pokemon Moves, Types, and ga Evolution to Mojave creatures... things were about to get insane.
First things first—he needed to experint.
With that, they made their way through the camp toward Colonel Hsu’s office. The sound of troopers talking, the hum of machinery, and the occasional distant gunfire filled the air as they navigated the base.
Rebecca walked close to Six, her eyes scanning their surroundings.
"So what’s next after this? We’ve wiped out the Fiends. NCR’s happy. You taking a break for once?"
Six scoffed.
"You know better than that."
She laughed.
"Figured. Just checking."
As they approached Hsu’s office, Boone finally spoke.
"Hsu’s a straight shooter. Won’t waste our ti. Let’s get this done."
Six pushed open the door, stepping inside. Ti to collect the final bounty.
Inside the office, Colonel Jas Hsu sat behind his desk, scanning over reports with a furrowed brow. The dim lighting and the stacks of paperwork made it clear he had no shortage of problems to deal with.
He barely looked up when the door opened.
"Unless you’ve got a damn good reason to be here, make it quick. I’m buried in work."
Six stepped forward, dropping the last bloodstained satchel onto the desk with a heavy thud. Hsu’s eyes flicked to it, his expression shifting slightly. He exhaled sharply before leaning forward and unlatching the satchel, revealing Motor-Runner’s severed head.
"Well, I’ll be damned."
Hsu leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples.
"Never thought I’d see the day. You really did it."
Raul crossed his arms.
"Took a little elbow grease, but yeah. One less headache for you."
Hsu nodded, closing the satchel and setting it aside.
"With Motor-Runner gone, the Fiends are done for. We’ve been bleeding n trying to keep them from overrunning our supply lines. You just saved us more than I can count."
He opened a desk drawer and pulled out another pouch, sliding it across the table.
"Here’s your bounty. Fair warning, though—word of this is gonna spread fast. You’re putting yourself on the map in ways that go beyond just NCR contracts."
Ding!
[Quest Complete: Bounty Killer]
[Objective: Kill Motor-Runner and take his head]
[Reward: Rare Silver-Tier Item Pokemon Bond Evolution]
Pokemon Bond Evolution:
A transformation similar to ga Evolution, with the difference that it doesn’t require an external item (such as a Key Stone and ga Stone) to achieve.
Ding!
[Level Up!]
Reaching level 36, Six allocated his skill points to:
SNEAK = 93 7> 100
EXPLOSIVES = 36 10> 46
For his five perk selections, he picked:
Terrifying Presence = Can intimidate foes through dialogue; closing dialogue results in the foe fleeing for 5 seconds.
Ding!
[UNARD maxed, gained Skill: I’m Batman]
I’m Batman:
When the user is out of the direct line of sight, they move extrely fast, to the point where they can move multiple ters in the blink of an eye.
Six stood still for a mont, feeling the subtle shift in his abilities. His Sneak was now maxed out, and he could practically vanish at will. Combined with I’m Batman, he was a ghost in the battlefield—silent, deadly, and everywhere at once.
Six picked up the pouch, weighing it in his palm before stuffing it into his duster.
"I’ll manage."
Hsu studied him for a mont, then gave a small, approving nod.
"Yeah. I imagine you will. NCR owes you for this one."
Rebecca leaned on the desk, smirking.
"So, Colonel, since we’re making the Mojave a better place and all, got anything else you need handled?"
Hsu sighed, shaking his head.
"Always. But let’s get through one ss before I throw another at you."
He looked back at Six.
"Whatever your next move is, just be careful. You’ve made so powerful enemies today."
Six smirked.
"Good. I’d hate to get bored."
With that, they turned and walked out, their business at Camp McCarran finished. Now it was ti to decide their next move.
As they stepped outside, the midday Mojave sun glared down on them, casting long shadows over the camp. The NCR troopers gave them respectful nods, so murmuring about the "Fiend Slayer" as they passed.
Rebecca stretched, cracking her neck.
"Alright, hotshot, what’s next? We just dismantled an entire raider faction, cashed in so bounties, and made the NCR owe us big ti. Feels like we should celebrate."
Boone adjusted his rifle.
"No ti for that. We made enemies today. Fiend stragglers, maybe so bigger players who liked the chaos they brought. Soone’s going to test us soon."
Six ran a hand over his chin, considering.
"We could start working on the Legion problem before they build up too much steam. Or..."
He turned to Rebecca with a knowing look.
"We could check out so of those ’unique’ weapons and gear scattered around the Mojave."
Raul grinned.
"Now you’re speaking my language, boss. If we’re making enemies, might as well get so better firepower for the trouble coming our way."
Roger smirked.
"You sure you’re not just looking for an excuse to crack more skulls?"
Six shrugged.
"Does it matter?"
The group reached the War Bus, its heavy plating glinting under the sun. The decision was his. Where would they go next?
