Next stop was Olivia. He didn't have anything to sell to her, but he did have so requests.

"Adam!" She said with shock as he wandered into her store, she ran over to him and, a little embarrassingly, ran her hands over his chest, checking him for damage. After a mont she pulled back. "Well you don't seem to have any serious wounds and don't seem to be dead, so that's sothing." She sighed.

Adam was montarily taken aback by her actions but blushed slightly and cleared his throat before he continued on.

"It's good to see you too, Olivia." Adam smiled. Doing his best to move on as if nothing happened.

"So, have you co to pick up that baby?" She asked, gesturing to the combat armor Mark II that still stood prominently on her display rack, right where he last saw it.

"Oh no, I'm not rich enough for that, I went all in on the APC instead, give a year or sothing and it might happen though." Adam laughed, she smiled.

"Alright, that's fine, then what can I do for you?"

"Actually I was coming to take you up on an offer you made a long ti ago. I would like to see if you are willing to upgrade my Vault Suit with ballistic fiber."

"Oh." She said, interested. "Well it's been a while since I've done that, I thought you forgot about the offer."

"Not at all, just my priorities have been a bit… busy."

"I bet." She giggled softly and then walked over to her counter. "Yes, I can upgrade your Vault suit for you, though unless you want to get naked now, I hope you have a spare change of clothing." She raised an eyebrow.

"Don't worry." Adam said as reached into his backpack and pulled out the military uniform. He could have gotten another Vault Suit from the vault, since he was living there now, but having a different outfit made him feel better, so he was not just wearing the vault suit all the ti.

"Fair enough. It will take so ti, and not be cheap."

"How much?"

"I can do a once over for 300 caps, or go over it fully, the full upgrade, three tis, for 750." Adam nodded.

"750 sounds fair, it's what I just paid Jay too, interestingly."

"Well Jay and think very… alike." She winked at Adam and then reached under her counter and grabbed sothing Adam didn't see.

"I was also wondering if…" Adam then turned to Deccanus now. "Maybe you could help him too?"

"Oh?" She asked, Deccanus looked at Adam confused.

"What do you an? Is my armor insufficient?" He asked.

"It's football gear with so tal enhancents, it's not the most durable." Adam offered.

"I know, but it's the last symbol of the Legion I have. If I were to lose my armor too I would be… lost…"

"I'm not saying you need to ditch the armor, but don't you think an upgrade is appropriate? I an after all I've seen you sewing your clothes back together, it's constantly in tatters from wear, wouldn't at least a professional repair job be best?"

"I…" Deccanus began before he paused to look over at so of the armors on the wall and not finish what he was saying.

"How about this?" Olivia chid in. "You are worried about your friend here dying because his armor is too light." She said to Adam. "And you are worried about losing what you have remaining of your culture." She said to Deccanus. "Im a professional, I can see the color sche, I can see the theming, if you give so ti I can upgrade your armor so that you will keep your style and give you adequate protection."

Adam and Deccanus looked at each other and then her, but considering this was Deccanus' decision Adam didn't respond, Deccanus did.

"I suppose I would not deny myself the opportunity to improve." He said, hesitantly.

"How much will it be?" Adam asked curiously.

"I'm not sure yet. I will need to see the kinds of upgrades I need to do, for starters I think-" She began before Deccanus interrupted her by putting a huge bag of caps down in front of her.

"If you can fulfill my desires the price is not an issue." He said firmly.

"Wait Deccanus!" Adam said quickly. "I was going to buy it for you, as a gift." He complained.

"No." Deccanus said back, staunchly. "I know your intentions, Adam." He said with a stern tone. "I know you well, but I have been languishing under your generosity for too long. In addition your stipends have been too much, I have enough capital to fund a legion of my own, allow to pay my own way into this life we are building. I do not wish to only receive your handouts."

Adam was montarily taken aback. Even Mira was shocked at his stern tone. Adam had not even considered this but it was true Deccanus, unlike Salvatore, did not have a drinking or smoking habit, in fact he does not know if he had ever spent any money. Especially after the raid on the FRS, Deccanus must have more money than even Adam, by quite a bit no doubt. Adam spent all his money on the APC, Deccanus had no such obligations, huh.

Adam let off a sigh and then decided to back down.

"Alright if you feel so strongly about it, then I will let you pay for it yourself." Adam acquiesced. Deccanus nodded and then turned to Olivia.

"How long will you need?" He said, pulling his bag of caps back, his point now taken.

"If you lend your current outfit I can give you your new armor within a few days, Adam's upgrade to his vault suit should be done in about the sa ti, about 3 days." Well that was convenient, around the sa ti as the ammo for the APC will be in, though it might take longer that ans he just will stick around Midway for a few days, he could make that work.

"That is fine." Deccanus said as he then looked down at his outfit. "I do not… have a change of clothes…" He admitted, slowly. Olivia tilted her head and then walked over to a trunk near the back, opened it, and threw so plainclothes at Deccanus.

"Wear this while I'm working on it. In fact if you two want to change here, in the back, and leave your clothes here that's best for ."

"You don't want us to wash them or sothing first?" Adam asked, confused.

"Do you know how gross people are? Especially outside of Midway, but even inside of Midway?" I don't give a fuck, as long as the clothes aren't dripping in shit I can live, its just clothing." She shrugged. Adam raised an eyebrow and then shrugged himself.

"Alright if you say so." He said as he pointed to the door in the back. "That door?"

"Yup, feel free to get changed in there, I can send a ssage to you when your stuff is done but otherwise just hang tight, I ain't gonna let my favorite scaver die because of lacking armor." She grinned and then let Adam and Deccanus into the backroom, a stockroom mostly, and closed the door behind them so they could change in peace.

After they changed, Adam and Deccanus walked out looking more casual. Deccanus especially in more normal clothing than Adam had ever seen him wear and clothing that honestly made him blend in with a crowd far more than ever.

"I have one more question." Adam asked as he handed over his Vault suit.

"What is it?"

"Do you have any power armor fras?" There is a long pause before a small smile creeps over Olivia's face.
