Even though President Wu said this, Tao Zhijie did not take it lightly. There were far more significant figures present than just President Wu. Xie Wanying was unaware that decisions at the ti were made not just by a single leader like President Wu.
If only one leader spoke in this way and other leaders did not agree or voiced opposition, the outco might have been different. But in reality, other people, including the highly respected old professors at the hospital, collectively remained silent back then. These people would not have been intimidated by President Wu; it was clear that they had agreed with him in their hearts at that ti.
