It was her mother’s voice. Xiao Duoduo turned around and saw her mother rushing over: "Mom—"
After being inford by a fellow patient that her family had arrived, Shang Siling had to return to the ward to check on her daughter.

"Don’t hit my mom." Xiao Duoduo’s small hands pushed against her uncle.
Without breaking a sweat, Xiao Shupeng pushed his little niece aside. Old grudges and new hatreds made him wish he could beat Shang Siling to death.
Zhou Ruoxue stood nearby, seemingly dumbfounded by her son’s actions, but in truth, she remained motionless, coldly watching her daughter-in-law get beaten.

A group of figures ca running down the hallway. One person led the charge, rushing up and grabbing Xiao Shupeng’s raised fist with both hands. The students following behind shouted loudly: "Class monitor, be careful!"
Yue Wentong used all his strength to resist the man in front of him. Clearly, the opponent wasn’t an ordinary person but soone skilled in fighting. Seeing his fist being held, he imdiately swung his other fist toward Yue Wentong’s head.
"Class monitor!" The students rushing behind turned red-eyed, disregarding everything, with several hands grabbing at Xiao Shupeng.
Two grabbed his other hand, one pressed his head down, while others seized both of his legs together.
No matter how strong Xiao Shupeng was, he couldn’t resist being grabbed by so many people and was knocked down, lying horizontally on the ground.
A group of boys pressed their hands against him, preventing him from moving any further.
Standing nearby, Zhou Ruoxue’s mind went blank as she witnessed the sudden change in the scene. "What’s happening, where did all these people co from?"
"Class monitor, are you okay?" Lin Hao turned around on behalf of the other students, anxiously checking on their class leader.
"I’m fine," Yue Wentong replied. The punch had just grazed his forehead, fortunately only ssing up his bangs.
