Now reading: Chapter 1883: Doubt Requires Sound Basis from Famous Among Top Surgeons in the 90s, a Romance novel by Kindhearted Mama.

No workplace, especially a hospital, would employ a person who lacks the wisdom to handle issues and only acts on impulse, even if that person is technically skilled. In the past, even an Emperor of a nation wouldn’t dare act impulsively.

The Boss Teachers in the clinical field each seem to have unique personalities. However, when dealing with conflicts between them and patients, they each demonstrate their superior wisdom, avoiding direct confrontation with patients and their families to prevent leaving any evidence against them. Afterwards, they proceed as necessary.

Now, Student Geng needs to first change his mindset and sort out his feelings.

Geng Yongzhe sits quietly on the chair.

To him, two patients, one his brother and the other his stepmother, are two family mbers bringing two extre emotions in simultaneous events on one person. It’s hard for an average person’s psyche to sustain such pressure.

Ren Chongda spoke slowly to reassure the student: "Don’t worry, take your ti. If it’s not perfect, we will negotiate again." Mainly, it’s about setting the right mindset and getting his brain to resu thinking.

This requirent might be a bit demanding for university students who have not yet formally entered society. Students who only roam within the campus have yet to be polished and are inexperienced in dealing with varied social conflicts.

No one will urge Student Geng to imdiately offer the correct answer.

"Let’s go, let’s check on the patient." Looking at the watch, seeing it’s late, Chang Jiawei took the lead to walk out of the office to the ward to check on the patient. Fu Xinheng followed him out. Doctor Guo picked up the dical record and followed suit.

Geng Yongzhe had yet to sort out his emotions. Ren Chongda stayed with him, signaling to the other two students: "You two go and take a look first."

Following Teacher’s instructions, Xie Wanying and Yue Wentong jogged to catch up with the doctors ahead.

The patient had fallen asleep, so the doctors visiting the patient all walked softly into the ward to avoid startling the patient.

Standing at the beside, Chang Jiawei took his stethoscope from the pocket of his white coat and handed it to the student opposite him. In terms of diagnosing heart and lung problems, he, an orthopedist, naturally isn’t as specialized as a cardiologist.

Receiving the stethoscope, Fu Xinheng put on the earpiece, gently placed the diaphragm into the patient’s clothes to listen to the heart and lungs. The experienced doctor perford his actions lightly, without disturbing the patient at all.

anwhile, as Chang Jiawei observed the patient’s slightly flushed complexion, he felt the patient’s forehead with his hand and asked Doctor Guo: "What was the temperature on admission?"

Doctor Guo opened the patient’s dical record to check the nurse’s recorded temperature value, answering: "The patient was already slightly feverish on admission, with a temperature of thirty-seven point eight degrees." This was one of his previous suspicions concerning whether the patient might have tuberculosis, prompting him to consult the senior doctor again: "Should we add a tuberculin test tomorrow?"

Chang Jiawei gave him a stern look for this remark: "I told you to grab an encyclopedia and rule out diseases one by one. Do you need to find you one?"

Doctors’ technical expertise isn’t ant for unrestrainedly ordering tests. If it were, why would patients need doctors; they might as well test their entire bodies on their own. Any suspicion of disease warranting tests should have solid grounds.

For instance, Student Xie never suspected this patient might have tuberculosis in the first place.

"Yingying, do you think it’s tuberculosis?"

Upon Teacher Chang suddenly asking her, Xie Wanying was stunned montarily before bluntly responding: "No."

The reason is here. To claim this patient’s tuberculosis avoids the lungs and directly affects other areas, she does not believe. Because any doctor frequently dealing with sickness knows that illness isn’t foolish. The patient’s lungs themselves are weak, and tuberculosis bacteria not taking advantage doesn’t fit the behavior of tuberculosis bacteria. Even if there are rare cases, there’s definitely other contributing factors.
