Geng Yongzhe was thinking about how to properly handle this situation as advised by the teachers, but the pent-up anger was difficult to express, leaving him restless.
"I heard your family mber has a gynecological issue. Bring her to Beidou Third Hospital, I’ll ask Dr. Zuo to arrange a bed for her," Du Haiwei said, as if knowing the student wouldn’t dare make such a request, simply made the decision for him.
"Teacher Du?" Geng Yongzhe was shocked by his ntor’s decision.
"Aren’t you a doctor?" Zuo Liang, observing his expression, smiled and provided guidance, "Teacher Du and we are all doctors. Regardless of who the patient is or any grudges involved, when soone cos seeking dical treatnt, a doctor’s responsibility is to address the dical issue first and foremost."
"Teacher Du, she’s not a good person." Geng Yongzhe sternly inford the teachers that his stepmother was no simple character, truly unwilling to see his teachers get innocently involved.
Zuo Liang wasn’t concerned at all; having been a doctor for several years, he’d already seen the vast complexities of life, his serene smile unchanged: "As a doctor, one should view ailnts dically rather than overthink other matters."
Geng Yongzhe cautioned the teachers not to take it lightly: "She doesn’t act on her own. She manipulates my dad to achieve her goals." His stepmother was malicious, never acting herself, only instigating and enjoying the discord.
"If your dad causes trouble here, he’ll be directly taken to jail," Zuo Liang said bluntly, "Actually, when he was abusing your brother, your family should have called the police. This is dostic violence."
The teacher’s last statent struck Geng Yongzhe like a bombshell, jolting him into realizing where the problem lay.
