Now reading: Chapter 2011: Medical Relationships to Avoid from Famous Among Top Surgeons in the 90s, a Romance novel by Kindhearted Mama.

Mr. Liu is not from the industry, so he doesn’t really understand the deeper layers. He can only ask the doctor about the main points: "Dr. Cao, what do you an my wife should do next?"

"First, the patient must complete all the other examinations. The ophthalmologist has already made this requirent, but she may not have done these examinations for personal reasons. Maybe she hasn’t figured out what to do if problems are discovered," Cao Yong says here, speaking earnestly to his peer, Doctor Hu. "Actually, so things don’t need to be said by us individually to Doctor Hu. We can understand Doctor Hu’s feeling as the patient’s doctor, but without the examinations, it’s impossible to proceed to the next step of treatnt."

Doctors speak based on facts, and the fact is that examinations are required to obtain accurate clinical data as a basis for judgnt. Before obtaining results, it is impossible to definitively tell the patient and their family whether the illness can be treated. Perhaps the doctor’s original plan is that it can be treated, but the examination results may disappoint and overturn this idea. Alternatively, the doctor may think it cannot be treated, yet the examination results are unexpectedly positive, bringing so surprise to the patient.

Patients and their families may understand this, but undoubtedly, it is a distressing feeling.

Mr. Liu pats his leg and looks at his wife. At this point, how should he persuade his wife to undergo the examinations?

His wife, for unknown reasons, was never particularly enthusiastic about seeing Cao Yong for treatnt. Given that Cao Yong is a well-known doctor in the industry, she should have heard of his reputation.

Not knowing any potential past grievances between her and Cao Yong, Doctor Hu felt a bit disgruntled about it.

Previously, she had never t or interacted with Cao Yong and had no personal grudges against him. However, Cao Yong indiscriminately reported her, abruptly halting her work at the hospital, making it seem as if Doctor Hu was extrely irresponsible in her professional duties. If it were her, she would at least have made a phone call to ask colleagues for their thoughts before making such a decision or encouraging the other party to voluntarily suspend themselves.

After all, Doctor Hu considered herself more humane. She was colloquially known for being protective, while those lacking humanity were Du Haiwei and Cao Yong. Even though her words may not sound pleasant, she isn’t cold and unfeeling like Cao Yong.

Of course, she doesn’t think Cao Yong was deliberately targeting her. It’s just that Cao Yong’s character is like this, as rumors say, sotis being really unfeeling in speech and action.

There is a type of relationship in dical care that needs to be avoided. Like when the doctor’s and patient’s temperants don’t match, or their ways of doing things conflict.

Generally, people might think that when seeing a doctor, they only need the doctor’s technical help, so why bother with all this? For minor illnesses, interacting with the doctor long-term isn’t necessary, so it’s irrelevant. However, for serious or chronic conditions, long-term mutual understanding and cooperation in the doctor-patient relationship are necessary. If the doctor and patient can’t see eye-to-eye on each other’s thods, the patient will have more doubts about the doctor, and the entire treatnt process will be bumpy.

Doctor Hu found it quite surprising that Cao Yong was willing to take on her case as a patient.

Cao Yong’s attitude was very proper and serious, consistent with what he initially said—that he would wait for the patient to make the decision themselves and would not refuse any patient’s request for help.

For a mont, the office was very quiet.
