Hu Hao felt as if the sky were falling, recalling how he had mocked Zhao Wenzong before. As for Zhang Wei, who stood by his side, her world had already crashed down.
Xie Wanying, her deskmate, the truck driver’s daughter, whom she and her mother had said would fail to get into college and needed to get married, was now the top science scholar. There was no question of which dical school to attend; with Xie Wanying’s score, she could choose any university she liked.
Zhang Wei’s legs shook uncontrollably.
