“Not yet,” Cao Yong said, thinking to himself that if he had known he would run into her, he would have co earlier. He then asked, “Did you eat alone?”

“If you ever find it boring to eat alone, you can join ,” Cao Yong offered.

Her phone buzzed insistently—it was likely the nurse from her departnt calling to hurry her along. Xie Wanying prepared to leave and said to her senior, “I need to go, Senior Cao. Enjoy your al.”

“Who?” Zhu Huicang asked, turning his head just as he saw Gao Zhaocheng approaching.
“Hello, both of you,” Gao Zhaocheng greeted his two juniors, standing together with them at the window and getting food.
What’s going on? Zhu Huicang shot Cao Yong a questioning look.
It was always so busy on the clinical side, and it was rare for brothers, especially those from different departnts, to et. Besides, they weren’t in regular contact with Gao Zhaocheng.
The three of them filled their trays and found a small table in the corner to sit down.
