“Couldn’t be helped; it was a car accident in a small town, and the patient was taken to a local hospital. The doctors there wanted to transfer the patient to us but didn’t have the technical ability, fearing they might lose the patient during the transfer. Cao Yong received President Wu’s ergency call in the early hours of the morning and went there. Cao Yong is impressive; upon reaching the small-town hospital, which didn’t have a CT scanner, he was able to determine where the bleeding was and did a brain drain on the patient first, then seeing pleural effusion, he inserted a chest drain tube right away, stabilizing the patient’s vitals before sending them back.”
