“Yin Fengchun isn’t on duty in the Urology Departnt tonight.” Huang Zhilei, being in charge of the residents, had a clear idea of who was on duty in each departnt tonight.
“Well, he said there’s a patient here and I could co to check if I had ti,” Zhou Junpeng said. “He might not be on night duty, but everyone in the hospital knows he practically sleeps here every night, more diligent than those who are officially on duty.”
Yin Fengchun’s affair with his little junior sister was now known by everyone in the hospital, a fact that he and Senior Cao hadn’t expected before. Huang Zhilei adjusted his glasses, pondering how unpredictable life could be.
“Don’t stand here, let’s talk inside,” urged Huang Zhilei, pushing his fellow townsman’s shoulder.
Unexpectedly, through the door suddenly ca a loud command from Wu Lixuan, making both doctors standing outside stiffen up.
“Don’t keep quiet, just answer one question, will you remove the tube or not!” Wu Lixuan stood straight and spoke loudly.

He could never remove the tube for her. As a professional doctor, how could he possibly remove a patient’s drainage tube when the condition didn’t allow for it? That would be more than malpractice; it would be murder.
She unexpectedly beca emotionally escalated; as a doctor, he couldn’t indulge her irrational behavior. Calmly filling her cup with water to cool off, suddenly, a hand grabbed the corner of his white coat.
“Please, help remove it,” Wu Lixuan pleaded in a low voice.
Yin Fengchun’s eyes narrowed slightly, he turned back, holding the water cup in one hand and supporting her with the other, “Co on, let’s have so water first and then talk.”
“I don’t want to drink,” she said, not in the mood for water when her ho situation was about to explode.
“Tell what happened, and I’ll take care of it.”
“No need.” Wu Lixuan, who was rejecting the offer, suddenly noticed sothing off in his gaze.
His eyes moved toward the mobile phone lying beside her.
The phone was ringing. Wu Lixuan ca back to her senses just as he reached out with his long arm, grabbing the phone before her. Her mouth opened wide, but she suddenly couldn’t make a sound, fearing that the person on the other end might hear sothing.
