“What dessert would Teacher Lu like to have after dinner? I’ll bring it for you,” Xie Wanying seized the opportunity.
“Why be so polite with . You go check on your senior fellow student Li’s situation first, then co tell tomorrow,” Teacher Lu instructed her.
“Yes.”
The call ended.
She could act alone, but telling too many people would definitely give her away. Besides, she really didn’t know much more than the senior fellows, just a rough idea of which part of Teacher Lu was in pain and needed further confirmation. If she managed to cover for Teacher Lu now, she might gain Teacher Lu’s trust and work on influencing Teacher Lu’s thoughts.
Xie Wanying put down the phone, waiting for the senior fellows to make a decision.
