Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence Chapter 115 - 103: Unicorn Tier 3, Territory Development
Night gradually descended.
A familiar notification sound rang out.
After glancing through all the intelligence reports,
Thor’s worries did not diminish much.
Instead, they grew even stronger.
When the morning sunlight spilled over,
a new day arrived. Thor first went to inspect the northern town. It was almost as Pelos reported. The entire northern town was gradually taking shape, with tall walls enclosing it, and nurous goblins were striving to build.
Outside the town were expansive farmlands.
Golden wheat spikes dotted the fields, and the growth was quite good, promising a decent harvest.
"My lord!"
"My lord!"
"Master!"
"Lord!"
Along the way, knights, Free People, and slaves all respectfully saluted, and everyone’s gaze toward Thor carried fervor.
Living in the Eagle Territory was sothing unimaginable to them before.
It was stable, peaceful, and free here.
Full of hope.
Over a year has passed, and even so won’s bellies were slightly protruding, indicating that the Eagle Territory would soon witness the birth of a new batch of babies.
"Char, how many Free People are there currently in the Eagle Territory?"
Seemingly recalling sothing, Thor turned his gaze to the civil servant Char beside him.
"Lord, the Eagle Territory currently has a population of eight thousand, with eight hundred and thirty-two Free People."
Char spoke respectfully.
At this mont, his heart was also sowhat stirred.
Like Pelos, when dispatched to the Eagle Territory, Char was in despair.
But upon arriving, he was only t with astonishnt.
Young Master Thor, in just a year, made the Eagle Territory no less impressive than so of the Viscount Clans in the Frost Moon Province.
The entire Eagle Territory was even more prosperous than he had imagined.
And he received delightful news.
That his descendants would have the qualification to enter the Eagle Cub Knight Order.
As long as he gained enough rit points, his descendants could join the Eagle Cub Knight Order, learn the Knight’s Breath, and have the qualification to beco a glorious knight.
Although it was just a qualification,
this qualification blocked ninety-nine percent of the common people.
With the Knight’s Breathing Technique, even if they couldn’t beco Official Knights, rely being an Apprentice Knight was enough for a commoner to leap social classes.
Because of this, he was extrely dedicated to Thor as Lord.
"Eight hundred and thirty-two, huh?"
"We can slightly loosen so restrictions to increase the number of Free People. Also, let’s estimate how many female slaves are needed. I’ll make a trip to Loren City in a few days to purchase them together."
Thor nodded and then mused aloud.
Although slaves were important, with goblins around, the demand wasn’t that high.
Converting so slaves into Free People for the healthy developnt of the territory was most crucial.
"Yes!"
"Lord, we currently need more than two hundred female slaves, considering future developnt. It’s best to prepare for three hundred or perhaps five hundred female slaves."
Char nodded in response, then pondered montarily before answering.
"Five hundred? Alright, I understand!"
Thor slightly furrowed his brow but nodded in agreent.
This ti, his expedition reaped considerable rewards.
Under these circumstances, buying five hundred female slaves wasn’t much.
Especially since he was planning to expand his territory’s population even further.
In his plans, the goal was for each town to reach ten to thirty thousand people, so two towns would an at least twenty thousand.
Of course, it wouldn’t start with that many.
But currently, increasing the population of the two towns to five or six thousand isn’t an issue.
"By the way, how is the establishnt of the fishery up north?"
Seemingly recalling sothing, Thor turned to Char to ask.
With the reservoir completed, Thor had already considered developing the aquaculture sector.
In a scenario with limited agricultural output, fishery would undoubtedly serve as a good supplent, providing a lot of quality protein with significant benefits.
Thus, before leaving, he gave the necessary instructions.
"The construction is completed!"
"In three months, the first batch of tilapia will mature, ready either for consumption or sale."
Char replied respectfully.
Upon hearing Char’s words, Thor nodded in satisfaction.
The condition of the entire territory was better than he imagined.
To date, it had essentially taken shape.
Next, the only issues were population expansion, farmland cultivation, and extensive infrastructure developnt.
Besides, there was only the enhancent of strength.
His current strength was already significant, but as previously ntioned, in this turbulent Northern Province, such strength was far from sufficient, needing even stronger power.
While the forr was manageable, the latter wasn’t as easy.
Whether in numbers or high-end combat power, enhancent wasn’t easy.
Not everyone had the qualification to beco a Knight.
Similarly, not everyone could continuously advance in Knight Cultivation.
Reine’s talent was trendous, allowing him to break through to a Great Knight in a short ti, while Steve reached the Official Knight Peak and smoothly advanced with his support. As for others, breaking through to a Great Knight was out of the question; even reaching an Official Knight wasn’t easy, and being an Apprentice Knight was difficult too.
To date, the entire Eagle Territory had only forty-three Official Knights and a hundred and thirty-two Apprentice Knights.
